"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Nikko Station Hotel. Its location was excellent, just a short 5-minute walk from Nikko Station, making it very convenient for exploring the area. The room was comfortable, and I appreciated the thoughtful recommendations provided in the lobby, which were helpful for planning my visit. The staff were friendly, accommodating, and always willing to assist. One pleasant surprise was the complimentary breakfast, which I had not expected and was a great way to start the day. Overall, a comfortable and convenient stay that exceeded my expectations. I would happily stay here again on a future visit to Nikko."

"4.5 stars!  Property is older but extremely well maintained.  The corner western/Japanese rooms are spacious with two western beds and tatami area, single japanese bath and shower area and separate toilet area, mini fridge, tv, sitting area overlooking the river and table with four chairs as well as a massage chair!  Onsen area has both indoor and outdoor areas separate for men and women and a cold plunge as well as multiple hot baths.  Minus half a star for low staffing in the store/cafe areas (often no staff member to be found when kakigori desired), no in house lunch option and overly fatty meat on the 3rd night dinner (breakfast and dinner were LARGE and BEAUTIFUL but perhaps heavy on the yuba.  Also, shuttle to the train station is only at 10 and 11am and getting cabs is difficult.  However, would overwhelmingly recommend Nikko Senhime Monogatari!"

"Walk distance from the Kinugaoka station. But the main bridge is the worst place, it was soooooo cold with huge wind!!! We visited in mid March but the wind was freeezing cold!! Japanese staffs were sort of…a little unique than the other hotels I visited.. they are not that much informative, but ask a lot of questions, they are happy to answer. Spacious room, lobby area is nice to chill out with Nama beer, hot spring was amazingly clean and calming. They offer to visit Plaza hotel hot spring which I don’t recommend, it was very dirtly(I could see the green moss in the main bath. Ceiling with covered with black fungus yikes.)"

"This is a small in front of the lake. The bus ride from the Tobu Nikko station was wonderful. It took 45 minutes and the ride is to climb the mountain. So exciting. There was a bus stop in front of the hotel. Otherwise you should walk for ten minutes from the bus terminal. The room was cozy and there was a massage chair in the room. As soon as we arrived in the hotel, we rushed to the ferry terminal to take the last boat. The dinner and next morning breakfast are wonderful. Please don’t expect to much about onsen because it is a small hotel with indoor and outdoor hot pools. The hotel offers free coffee and tea the people staying in the hotel."

"first of I would like to thanks always trip.com for very nice & convinient bookings everytime,we stay new sakura hotel,because the interior of the hotel is mostly sakura theme,the carpet,the gorgeous chandelier, the wall design,etc.or cherry blossom in Japan,& so very affordable prize,we spend only 18,000 yen for 2 adults,with 2 breakfast & 2 dinner.Very near from kinugawa onsen station,only 3 hrs.from Tokyo.We amazed the room,so very big for the two of us,for very cheap prize,can accomodate even 10 person,the buffet breakfast & dinner also is so good but the most I want to share is the drink all you can alcohol beverages for 1 hour,like beer,japanese wine,sours, all kinds of softhdrinks,I enjoyed for self service alcohol drink all you can!the hotspring also is very good but the cons is take care in the outdoor spring because of the concrete stairs,especially for the elderly when slippery,there's & a little bit far from our room,the young staff also at the counter is nice & most of them are young japanese lady,so very entertaining,so many free amusement like billiard,majong,etc.with a nice sorrounding sightseeng site.& last after check out they give 2000 yen discount coupon for the next visit,Thanks God & trip.com for a nice autumn tour moment in kinugawa onsen Tochigi Perfecture Japan"

"The hotel is great! The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with many facilities like karaoke, a game center, and more. I visited with my family, a total of 14 people, and they were able to arrange a private room for us for both dinner and breakfast. Both meals were buffet-style and absolutely delicious. The onsen experience was wonderful, and the view from the onsen was fantastic, with a beautiful view of the Kinugawa River. However, there was one issue: when we checked in, the reception took our passports for photocopying. Unfortunately, they missed returning one of the passports to us. It wasn’t until after we checked out and reached our next stop that we realized one passport was missing. We had to go back to the hotel to take it. Despite this, the overall experience was great, and I would still recommend the hotel."

"Lovely hotel. The female receptionist is so kind. It is a little far from the station and main roads, but ok if you have a car. The shower and bed was excellent. It has free tea and coffee but you need to buy your own breakfast things from 7/11. Most outside breakfast places open at 9am or 10am and were nothing special. There is an excellent steak place 400m uphill from the restaurant, but you need the reception to make a booking. It is very expensive, but extremely high quality. The Italian downtown is fab. Try the carbonara, salad, gnocchi, duck and tiramisu. Next to it is an excellent sushi place called Komekichi Kouzushi which is great, but the Italian restaurant was the winner."

"Love the design that gives double bunking guests privacies, but that give rise to two issues: (1) door slamming noise is an issue when there are any guests who head in and out of their compartment during the night, (2) there isn't much space to unpack your luggage. Onsen is tiny but water is hot enough."

"Great accommodation handy to train station with a Lawsons across the intersection and a 712 just up the road. Also within walking distance to a full supermarket. Some 20 kilometers to the national park and waterfalls."

"ฉันได้ไปใช้บริการนวดของทางโรงแรม มันเป็นการนวดที่แย่ที่สุด เธอไม่ได้ตั้งใจนวดแค่ลูบๆถูๆและมันเบามาก นักนวดบำบัดเหมือนจะเป็นคนจีน เธอสื่อสารภาษาญี่ปุ่นไม่ค่อยได้ด้วย พูดได้นิดหน่อยซึ่งฟังไม่ค่อยเข้าใจเลย และมันไม่ใช่การนวด  เธอเหมือนนวดไม่เป็น ห้องนวดไม่สะอาด หมอนที่ใช้หน้าวางสอดไปตรงรูมีกลิ่นน้ำลายเหม็นมากๆ นักนวดบำบัดของโรงแรมระดับ4ดาวควรคัดสรรให้ดีกว่านี้ ติเรื่องนี้เรื่องเดียว ในส่วนอื่นๆของโรงแรมนั้นนี้มากๆ ทั้งการบริการของพนักงานในโรงแรมดีเยี่ยม โรงแรมสวย วิวออนเซนกลางแจ้งสวยมาก อาหารดีเลิศหรูและอร่อย อาหารเช้าและเย็นเป็นบุฟเฟต์ เมนูเยอะมากๆและอร่อยทุกอย่าง ห้องพักสะอาด มีรถรับส่งจากสถานีรถไฟ"
