"The hotel's exterior is quite unique! While the rooms aren't spacious, the hotel's thoughtful touches made for a very comfortable stay. The vintage telephone was a charming detail! The front desk staff were incredibly thoughtful, attentive, and enthusiastic in providing information, which was greatly appreciated. My only regret was the restaurant's food. The selection wasn't very varied, and you only got one egg at a time even when specifically ordered. What's more, there were flies, which definitely needs addressing! However, on the plus side, the Matterhorn was directly visible from the restaurant windows!"

"Pleasantly surprised by how big the room was! A rarity in Switzerland for sure. Modern furnishings a plus! Lovely surprise balcony with a sideways view of the town, nice to sit outside to unwind at the end of the long day. Bathroom was rather lacking in character compared to the room and bath tub/screen was quite inconvenient. But basic amenities are there, two sinks + separate WC were appreciated. Breakfast was average, adequate but not great spread. No swimming pool, bare gym, uninspiring suana area for a 4* hotel so manage your expectations accordingly. Location very close to train station (5 mins), off a quiet corner, complimentary luggage shuttle would be nice instead of charging CHF12 for what is literally a 1 minute ride in a buggy."

"Initially I was a bit apprehensive about this hotel based on reviews but it was a good stay!! Great value for Zermatt! Walking distance about 10 mins from Zermatt station, on shopping street. Toilets and stairway up a bit small but ok for us. Luckily we were located on first floor so didn’t have to climb up too many stairs with our luggage. There’s a pizzeria below. Things to note: didn’t see a bin ( only a small one in toilet) so maybe bring your own plastic bag for a bin as well as room slippers. Place was clean! However there’s some loud music that played even in the wee hours of the night like 3am, so if you are a light sleeper, you might need to put on some ear plugs to muffle the noise out. Nonetheless, A huge thank you for the stay. Convenient, Breakfast was awesome, simple spread but very heartwarming and the coffee was the most delicious I’ve had. It was the Easter weekend so there’s pretty Easter eggs for breakfast too! The lady owner was lovely and check in and check out was very easy and seamless. We stayed for a night and would recommend this place."

"I had a pleasant stay. Though I had a technical hiccup with the self check-in, the hotel personnel were quick to respond and reacted super promptly. And yes, there's a small balcony that has a nice view to the nature! :)"

"I stayed for one night on my honeymoon, but what in the world I was so embarrassed by how they decorated it🫣 I was so touched! The weather was good, so the Matterhorn view was really good, just like in the picture I saw the night view and the Golden Horn, so I had a fulfilling day! The room facilities were spacious and clean, so it was good, (I think the bathroom is important, so the bathroom is in good condition) I recommend it if you want to see the Horn view (the downside is that it's uphill while dragging a carrier.. You have to work hard for the view)"

"The room is small and cozy for two people but if there are three people then there is hardly any space to move around after unfolding the sofa bed. So, it’s okay if you plan to stay for 2 nights. It was interesting that they offered free beverage coupons if you don’t avail housekeeping services. The receptionist in the evening was very cheerful and jolly for a good conversation to hear about local news."

"The hostel is located on higher ground, so there are some stairs to climb, but thankfully I didn't have a suitcase. The Matterhorn is visible right from the entrance, and it's incredibly spectacular. I booked the cheapest mixed dormitory, which is a bunk room. Luckily, everyone else was quiet, and I slept soundly. You can even see the Matterhorn from the dorm window. Additionally, the hostel's service was excellent; the front desk staff were very friendly. I only brought a European adapter, and the front desk staff lent me a Swiss adapter, which was a huge help! Lastly, the hostel's breakfast was also very generous, and I was very satisfied!"

"Its a 10-min walk from the nearest train station. It has a beautiful view from the balcony where u can sit and have a coffee. Spacious room and had a bath tub so its a plus point. The room is clean. I love everything abt this place. Will definitely recommend this to our friends and families"

"I had an amazing stay at this place! The location was perfect—close to the city center, public transportation, local shops, and restaurants. The apartment was clean, well-decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was very comfortable, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches like complimentary coffee, luxury toiletries, and a guidebook with local tips. The host was an excellent host, providing clear communication and quick responses to any questions we had. They even left a welcome basket and gave us great restaurant recommendations. Overall, this Airbnb exceeded our expectations, and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. We hope to return soon!"
