"Hello there. First, the hotel is a little far from the bus station, but to be honest, it is a very good spot, especially if you want to sight see the beauty of Baguio because of the amazing views when you eat at their restaurant or dining area. The staff is quite accommodating but not so friendly. We also need to rent a hair dryer worth 200php deposit, but it is okay for us. My sister ordered a beef burger steak which is quite similar to the Jolibee burger steak, which is quite delicious, she said, but for me, I ordered a chicken teriyaki, which is just okay for me. The room has no window, so we need to go downstairs to feel the breeze of coldness in Baguio in the morning and do a little jogging. And the restroom is quite a little smelly and dirty when the yellow stains are in the toilet bowl, which is quite annoying. But overall, even though there are disadvantages, I still enjoyed the experience of this hotel because of the baguio feel. I hope next time they will improve their services and facilities and also the staff will be nice and more friendly. Thank you uphill hotel Baguio"

"The place was really nice. It was a little too far from the center, though, so access is quite difficult (had to ask a bunch of people for jeep access). I had a mini fridge, a bathtub, a tv, table, bed, etc. I didn't need to use the aircon because the place was already really cold, the fan was enough. Oh, and bring slippers! It was a good trip. I had fun trekking down the road in the fog early in the morning. It's also near Arca's Yard. The people were nice too!"

"I had a pleasant and comfortable stay here. The room was clean, cozy, and nicely designed with warm lighting. The staff were friendly and helpful, which made me feel welcome. Overall, a good experience — just a few small things could be improved, but I’d still be happy to stay here again. 😊"

"The picture of the room I selected showed a double bed. The mention said you could get either one on arrival...a double bed or a single bunk bed. But that is not true. The price for the room I selected was for a single bunk bed only. This is what we were told after arrving. The double bed was P200 extra a night. We paid but complained at Trip.com. We got P400 credit for the next booking. How to call this practice from the hotel? Not honest. Advertising something that is not true. I will make sure Trip.com change that. Hotel near a road with a lot of traffic. Walls very thin, can hear people next room. Same for the floor...could hear people walking above."

"This hostel is right in the heart of Baguio's market, so you can't escape the market's noise late at night or early in the morning. However, everything quiets down after 10 PM. The noise isn't too bothersome if you're out and about during the day and only return in the evening to relax. Since the rooms are on the second floor, water pressure is often low, though it doesn't stop flowing entirely. The owner is on-site 24/7, ready to assist you immediately, and is incredibly kind and hospitable."

"We had a generally good stay at the hotel. The hotel's location is about 8-minute ride or 20-minute walk to Burnham Park. The room was clean and quiet, and the bed was comfortable. It was, however, quite too dim to our liking. The veranda was a bit cramped but the view was amazing especially during the night. The staff were kind, approachable and helpful whenever we needed assistance. Breakfast was delicious and had a decent selection. We just also hoped they had provided us water bottles on the second day (they only provided on the first day). While there is still room for improvement in some areas, we were satisfied with our stay. ☺️"

They were consistently polite, attentive, and always willing to assist, which really made a difference in our overall experience. The cleanliness of the hotel is outstanding. Rooms, hallways, and common areas are spotless, and you can tell that housekeeping takes pride in their work. The rooms are well-kept, comfortable, and provide everything you need for a relaxing stay. Another highlight is the location. The hotel is conveniently situated—close enough to the heart of Baguio for easy access to popular spots, yet far enough to enjoy a calm and peaceful atmosphere. It’s a great balance for both relaxation and exploring the city. The unlimited breakfast was a pleasant surprise. The food was tasty and filling, giving us the energy we needed to start our day of sightseeing. A bit more variety in the menu would be nice for guests staying multiple nights, but overall, it was a great perk. What we really loved was the view from the hotel—absolutely beautiful and one of the things that makes this stay memorable. Waking up to the cool Baguio breeze and a nice view is definitely a bonus. Overall, Hotel Urban Khotel (Kurban Hotel) exceeded our expectations. Clean, well-located, friendly staff, delicious breakfast, and great views—everything you’d want in a Baguio getaway. Highly recommended, and we would definitely stay here again!"

"Reception was very pleasant and accepted early check in. Security staff were very alert and assisted us to park despite the busy time and tight spaces available. On day 1 and arrival, room was of acceptable cleanliness however we were put with a no view room despite booking showing atleast window view. Asked for daily room clean only to notice that bed is made, towel changed but bathroom not cleaned, glasses and water canister not cleaned. Floor was not swept or vacuumed. Breakfast options very limited and had same menu for 2 days in a row , then only 1 new dish changed on 3rd day. No tea/coffee making facility in the rooms and had to get them from the hallway. No complimentary water in the room and had to fetch from hallway water dispenser per floor. Location wise, very close to town and walking distance to Session Rd, SM, Camp John Hay, Cathedral and Pink Sisters. Needs improvement with facilities, restaurant menu and needs attention to parking spaces."
