"Receptionist is very efficient & courteous. Spacious reception & dining area.
Room is clean & tidy, but small (no chair, one has to use the bed as chair for the table).
Toilet is clean, tidy & quite spacious. However, one of the holder of toilet bowl lid is broken.
Facilities inside room: water boiling kettle, wifi, TV (no channel & no remote control), hot shower, toiletries like liquid soap, shampoo, toothbrushes, ear cotton buds, shaver, standing fan, slippers, etc. No hair hairdryer.
Nice comfortable bed & pillows.
Complementary 2 bottled water, 2 sachets of coffee & 2 tea bags per day.
Cafes & restaurants nearby.
Safe area.
Only complaint: as most hotel in Vietnam, the door & wall of the room are quite thin, & if there is noise from the walkway outside the room, it can be heard very clearly from the room (noise from other hotel guests or room cleaner in the morning).
The cleaner will shout from room to room in the morning asking for room cleaning service & this will disturb sleeping guests. When there is no answer, the cleaner will assume that there is no guests inside the room & will open the door using the masterkey. This is not the correct way to do the daily room cleaning service! The management of the hotel should buy tags (request for room-cleaning or do-not-disturb tag) that can be hanged on door knobs as done in many hotels."

"Thank you for switching to Valley View Twin.
The breakfast was so delicious that I ate my fill all three days, and the massage was nice and friendly.
It's close to the lake, so it's great for a walk.
Good for moving to the city center, such as the night market.
The staff were very friendly, so I had a comfortable stay.
Valley View is quiet so I don’t wake up.
If you are sensitive, please request valley view.
However, the room facilities seem a bit old and need renovation.
If it has sophistication, I would give it 100 points.
I'll give it a 90 and I intend to visit again."

"Very nice hotel and the staff was very friendly, but I had to mark them down on location and amenities. For location, no fault of the hotel, all the sidewalks on the entire street was torn up, non existent, requiring everyone to walk in the sometimes busy street. As for amenities, our television wouldn’t play anything and our A/C wouldn’t cool the room."

"I love my room situated on top floor with city views. At night i can just pull up my chair and sit drinking coffee while watching the city is drown with the misty clouds. My room 503 have a verandah and big window so i can open it wide enough for the cool air to come in. The only thing lacked is the Bathrobe which was stated in their list of amenities.😩 but overall the location is good enough for me to explore the nooks and crannies around the city. Good and cheap food as little as Vnd30k Breakfast foods is available all around the block."

"Eventho its a bit small but the location is great and right at the city center! Love how easy it is to borrow a scooter from the reception but they will hold our passport eventho there is no deposit needed. The room is a bit small but its clean and cozy. The best bed I’ve had. It has massage if you want you can ask the reception and they also sell snack eventho it is more expensive than in town. And also their receptionist is super friendly 🫶🏻🥰"

TThe ExcursionistCam Ly Homestay in Dalat offers a memorable retreat with its warm hospitality and stunning views. Although I encountered a minor issue checking in during booking, Trip swiftly resolved it and even followed up to ensure I had settled in comfortably.
The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the breathtaking views from my room. I was treated to a picturesque view.
Conveniently located, Cam Ly Homestay is just a short distance away from the famous Crazy House and within walking distance of other attractions. This makes it an ideal base for exploring Dalat and immersing yourself in the local culture. The homestay's strategic location allowed me to easily access authentic cuisine and experience the city's charm.
Given the chance, I would have extended my stay without hesitation. Cam Ly Homestay's blend of warm hospitality, gorgeous views, and convenient location make it an irresistible choice for anyone visiting Dalat. Be aware that the home stay is about a 45 minute drive traffic dependent from the airport. Instead of using local taxis, download the Grab app and apply a discount for the best way of traveling there. Also be aware that you will pay extra for toll fees. Also be aware that the car can only drop you at the bottom of the alleyway. You’ll need to walk the last 10m uphill. The hotel feels brand new, with a stylish and well-designed interior. It’s located on a narrow street full of local cafes, restaurants, and bars - and just a short walk from the night market.
We really appreciated the check-in process. We were offered a hot artichoke tea upon arrival, and the staff explained everything clearly - where to get filtered water, how to change towels yourself, where to find bathroom essentials, and how to open the front gate after hours. They also shared a super helpful Google Maps list of recommended restaurants and attractions. You can rent a motorbike right at the hotel, which was super convenient! Plus, they offer free shoe dryers and bananas at the reception - small but lovely touches. There’s an elevator, and thankfully it doesn’t beep loudly at every floor (like in many places!).
We were also kindly upgraded from an economy room to a standard one - which included a small kitchen area with a sink, electric stove, cooking pot, dishes, and utensils. The room also had a writing desk, chairs, and a wide-screen TV.
Inside, everything was spotless and smelled fresh the entire time. The bed was comfortable, the water pressure in the shower was strong, and the bathroom mirror had built-in lighting. There was also a dehumidifier in the room, which kept the air fresh and completely free of mold or musty smells. Sound insulation was excellent - despite the busy street, we couldn’t hear any noise from outside.
The only minor downside (which applies to most hotels) is that you can sometimes hear loud guests in the hallway through the front door. Luckily, they didn’t stay noisy for long.
Overall, a wonderful stay - great location, clean rooms, thoughtful service, and excellent value!

WW_HanOther than the roadwork posing a risk and inconvenience along the entire stretch of road in front of the hotel, everything was great during our stay. The room was very clean with good air-conditioning to heat the room during the cold nights in December. The water pressure was great even though our rooms were on the 4th floor. Hot water was almost instantaneous, except the water temperature can be a little inconsistent. The bed was not hard like many of the hotels in Vietnam. Comfy bed. The young team from reception to breakfast area to housekeeping was welcoming and enthusiastic , especially a few at breakfast who recommended specialty dishes for us to try. Although the breakfast buffet was not huge, at least 70% of the selections was not repeated during our 4 days of breakfast. This is certainly something uncommon even in 5-star hotels, and is a great way for international travelers to sample a variety of dishes from different parts of Vietnam. We actually looked forward to eating breakfast everyday while chatting with some of the breakfast crew members. The only part I would recommend to improve is for the crew at reception to remember to look up and greet the guests even at night, which a few forgot to do so at times.

Everything in the room worked except for the balcony door lock, towels were changed daily and were clean, the bed was comfortable, the Internet was normal, it is located on a noisy street, but not far from the night market. Breakfasts were neither good nor varied, and the staff did not understand English well. You can stay for a short time if you need air conditioning.

Когда заехала я поняла, как люди себя переоценивают.
Отель очень красивый! Чувствуется уровень. Причем за очень доступную стоимость. Прекрасный сад, лес и вид на озеро. Комната просто королевская. Красивая мебель, много зеркал, шикарная ванная комната.
Отличный завтрак- шведский стол. Мясные фрикадельки, бекон и сосиски, мой любимый бо кхо, много азиатских блюд, каша, свежие и тушеные овощи. Все вкусно. Не пережарено, не пересолено.
В отзывах читала, что кому то не хватило сыра и разнообразной выпечки... за такую цену вы их и не должны получить.
Девушка на ресепшене при заселениии дала номер более высокого класса, чем приятно удивила.
Место отлично подойдет для отдыха. Рядом все популярные места Далата- водопад, лавандовое поле, глиняный город и красивое озеро.
Если вы путкшествуете летом, берите тепые вещи. Вечером на улице прохладно.

Location: It’s very close to town and within walking distance of the Da Lat night market (Chợ Đà Lạt). At night, there are good bars and pubs nearby that you can walk to. For your convenience, there’s a mart on the main road as well. However, the hostel is situated in an alley that cars cannot access, so you’ll need to park on the main road and walk to the hostel.
Service: Top-notch! The staff are very friendly and helpful, and they speak English. They let us keep our luggage and relax in the hostel’s common area before and after check-in and check-out. They also provide a common bathroom in case you arrive early or stay late, and they’re happy to call a taxi for you. The best part is that they have motorcycles and bicycles for rent; however, you’ll need to leave your passport with them (we received ours back in good condition).
Amenities: They provide all the essentials for a comfortable stay, though there’s no toothpaste provided. The weather is cool enough that you don’t need air conditioning. There’s a common iron and stove available for use (a small fee applies for the stove).
Cleanliness: Good for a hostel. They have dogs, but there’s no smell or pet hair around.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience! I'll definitely stay here again.

AAwilumThe hotel has a very convenient location. The rooms are clean and bright, with large windows. In my room, the window faced the sunset, and the sunlight warmed the room throughout the day. This made the room pleasantly warm, even in the evening. It was nice to return to a warm room after a long day, thanks to both the sunlight and the view of a beautiful sunset.
The placement of power outlets was convenient, and the room included a kettle, which allowed me to make tea easily. The hot shower was also a plus. The parking area was secure, closed, underground, and very spacious—perfect for both bikes and cars. Overall, the hotel gave me a sense of safety and coziness.
However, there was one downside I encountered. The bathroom was extremely small, and the shower kept flooding the room. On the first day, I reported this issue to the staff. They responded promptly by wiping the floor with dry towels and removing the water. Unfortunately, the problem persisted. The next day, I asked them to fix it again, and they removed the floor filter, which was blocking the water drainage. While this improved the situation, it did not completely resolve the issue. It seems the shower area wasn’t adequately sealed, as water continued to seep out into the room. This made it impossible to take a long shower, limiting me to very short ones.
Despite this, my overall impression of the hotel is positive.

SSit MooiI chose it because of its retro style. It might be a little scary for the faint-hearted, but you will love its difference. Especially its breakfast area, you will be attracted by its decoration rather than its food 😁 It's a pity that it didn't decorate for Christmas in advance... I saw the staff start decorating on the 20th. If it could have been decorated for Christmas a month earlier (at least 2 weeks before), it would have been perfect.
