"I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at this budget motel. The room was spotlessly clean, the bed was large and comfortable and the central heating was effective. (I was cold after a long motorcycle journey, so the warmth was very welcome) Yes, the walls are quite thin, so you can hear outside. But this is easily remedied if you wear earplugs to sleep. I had a great night’s rest and enjoyed the reasonably priced breakfast (extra charge) which set me up nicely for the rest of the day."

"This was our third visit in 2 years, so we obviously like the place.! Cassel is livelier towards the end of the week so plan accordingly. As for the hotel - still fantastic. We were still on the ground floor, but this time had the Africa room decorated wirh larger than life lions and elephant paintings. The bedroom as usual was spacious with an equally large bed. Our hostess was charming as was her English. Sadly no full restaurant service, but the view looking down to the plain from the restaurant window was wonderful. And at dusk with a glass of Sancerre, who could want more. We hope to return next spring for another enjoyable visit. Bye for now.!"
