Pengguna TetamuWe had an amazing 1 night stay at Shizentenyu... i'm still dreaming about the view from our room and the restaurant... amazing!!! We didn't realize that our room included a full 7-course set dinner menu, which was one of the highlights from our trip! The service was impecable, food delicious, and a huge thank-you to Alfie who guided us through our set menu in English. We would have been very confused without him. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, the Onsen lovely, we appreciated the lounge with free coffee, tea, beer, and popsicles. We also braved the steep walk down to the private beach and went for a refreshing swim! We wish we could have stayed longer!

TYAN42316Absolutely amazing hotel that we just cannot get enough of. The location is in a tranquil little village which we very much enjoyed after coming from bustling Tokyo. The private onsen in the room was on the balcony and overlooking the ocean, so you can enjoy a beautiful view while relaxing, and the food was one of the best I’ve had in an onsen hotel. Room itself was also lovely, we stayed in a Western style room and it was clean and spacious. Would definitely visit again if I come back to Ito.

這家旅館的温泉太出色了！！六個室外私湯都正對大海，景觀漂亮水質綢滑空氣新鮮！且入住期間無論何時去都有空湯，隨去隨泡。
服務也非常好，從大堂到餐廳到客房服務，遇到的每個侍者都很熱情禮貌。應答也非常快，有任何訴求撥打前台電話，服務生一分鐘內就會來到門前。
整體裝修雖然老舊但不破敗，彌散着馥郁的茶香。細節佈置得很豐富，能看出歲月積澱。
餐品也不錯，圖文並茂的菜單特別可愛，於是我帶回家裝框擺起來了，每次看到都會想起伊豆澄澈湛藍的海天。
唯一的不足是定了私湯房，浴缸和淋浴間都在露天陽台上。雖然可以邊看海邊泡，但第二晚開始已經有各種飛蟲出沒，晾好了一缸水正想去泡，卻發現陽台上都是蟲蟲……躲在屋裡不敢去啊。
所以下次去直接定普通房，然後去公用私湯泡就好啦。

Was a truly beautiful stay, rooms are spacious and staff are beyond accommodating, hotel is situated right in front of the 7-falls, which turned into my beautiful morning walk, the hotel onsen are amazing, bus stops right out front of the hotel from kawazu station.
I came out to the hotel specifically for the frog zoo directly next door! Which was also absolutely amazing.

Quiet boutique hotel right next to the ocean. We enjoyed sitting on the chairs and watching the sunset from the room every day. It was absolutely beautiful. The hotel has a slight antique feel to it given the era when it was built, but everything was well preserved. Private onsens were very relaxing, and we enjoyed the variety of selections in the mini store. One small downside is the potential bug/spider in the room being in the countryside, and we had a VERY big (though harmless) spider residing on our curtains when we stayed. But front desk was very helpful and immediately came to catch it for us.

This is a bit worn out and simple hotel. The best things were the extremely friendly and helpful staff, as well as the super delicious dinner & breakfast that was included in the price. I ate maybe the most delicious croissant ever here. The variety and the quality of food was great. Things to improve are the facilities, especially the onsen. It’s very small but more importantly, it wasn’t well maintained and there was no emergency button. When my mom felt like fainting, it wasn’t possible to call for help.
Also the air conditioner in the room was very loud, making it difficult to sleep. All in all, good stay.

We were really taken aback by how nice the entire experience was at the cost, private bath, onsen, and the facilities were a delight. The photos did not do the rooms justice. Beautiful and practical. Nice staff as well. Dinner buffet was delicious as well, we went back for seconds.
The town was gorgeous, great workout, and the locals were very friendly although it’s hard to get to neighbouring areas without a car and the nearby shops are often only open for one or a few days of the week which means you should be careful in your planning if you want to eat out of the hotel in a place that is not a konbini.

Momo_travelMagnificent view from my hotel room! Didn’t know hotel provides pickup and drop off services, just give them a call! I rolled my big suitcase down the steep hill and so on from the train station 😅. Love the restaurant next door, the sashimi was caught from the morning! Great hotel with nice onsen, you can enjoy onsen from your bathtubs too.
