ZzozywozyEven staying as a local, I loved the whole ambience of the hotel. If you are looking for a very chill, get-away from the heart of Melbourne but still want to be somewhat closely located, I would recommend this to you. Small note: Due to constructions this year on the M1 freeway, the trip will be quite slow if you are traveling by car, but otherwise it is a very superb choice.

Be randomly arranged units in 889 or 883 Collins st.
the noise situation seriously affects the stay. There are several construction sites nearby, and work starts around 7 a.m. every day. The drilling and machinery noise is very loud, making it difficult to sleep in.
At night, the problem continues as car enthusiasts often race along the nearby roads, and the engine revving can be extremely disruptive.

PPengguna TetamuThe apartment has an excellent view, small bedrooms with tiny bathrooms. Service was not pleasant, Grace was not very responsive, and stopped replying messages after we checked out. The front desk can not provide luggage storage because this is an Airbnb type of rental, and you need to walk 2 blocks to the office where Grace can store the luggage. If you are not looking for any help or service, this is not a bad deal. Otherwise, get a hotel room.

MMattyFLocation is very good because it is just next to a stop on the free tram system. There are shops and supermarkets nearby and some restaurants. You can also easily walk to the CBD, river and Southern Cross Station. It is relatively large and has plenty of amenities. The only negative was that the soft chairs are covered in highly visible greasy food and drinks stains. They should either use a faux leather or something or throws that can be washed. Also there seemed to be a huge excess of bedding which got tangled and uncomfortable. A simple duvet, sheet and two pillows would be better in my opinion. But otherwise, all good!

PPengguna TetamuReception staff is good and it was good apartment but not for 5 people and actually for 4, this was not mentioned before booking and toiletries were not enough for 4 people for the duration of the stay. Sometimes Aircon in the room was not working properly. Had to remind them for the bond to be returnd after 12 days of checkout
