JJacob van den BergA perfect hotel in the centre of Gent. Directly located next to the main sites. Excellent rooms, great breakfast. I loved this hotel.

YYigit BoyrazThe atmosphere of the hotel was very nice and welcoming. You can reach the city center by walking 15–20 minutes.
The only thing missing in the room was a seating area to relax. We stayed on Sunday and Monday, and unfortunately the bar was closed during our stay. Breakfast was quite limited, with not many options to choose from.
Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but there is room for improvement in terms of amenities and breakfast variety.

PPengguna TetamuAbsolutely great hotel in ghent!! The room was clean and well organized, and even the basic amenities were all ready - body&hand wash, shampoo, conditioner. Also a coffee machine, kettle for hot water and two bottles of water included.
The location is perfect for the trip - you can just walk around a bit to visit all tourist spots in ghent.
And please do not miss the BREAKFAST!! They bake fresh bread every day, and fruits are sooo fresh. alI really love the food!! You should taste the croissant.... I want to visit this hotel again because of the breakfast lol! Thanks a lot for the great service and experience in ghent! I definitely visit this hotel again !

SSGPeteGreat location that is just 10minutes from the Gent Dampoort train station. There is a Carrefour nearby for groceries. Complete with amenities like gym, table tennis table, bar and restaurant and very friendly reception staff who are ever so helpful. The table tennis table was a hit for my kids. Highly recommended!

部屋は、清潔で広々しているが防音が脆弱で朝は外の工事音で目が覚め、夜はやっと眠りについた頃に廊下や隣り等の話し声やベッドが激しく軋む音が聞こえて起こされたり…ゆっくり寝に行ったのにまさかの寝不足で滞在を終えました。
建物は、横に広いので部屋に着くまでにかなり歩くことになる場合もありそうなので、ホテル入り口に近いなどリクエストできれば…
キッチン、レンジも付いている。
冷蔵庫がかなりうるさかったので、何も入れないのなら、電源offにしてしまうのもあり。

KKate ThomBeautiful hotel with perfect view of a cathedral from our twin room. Hotel is in a historic building with lovely architectural features by the canal and the room we were in was a cleverly designed ”duplex” with the bathroom and sinks on the upper floor (ie loft) which made full use of the almost double volume ceiling in the smallish twin room we were in. The only drawback was that the steps were narrow and steep and would pose a problem if one had mobility issues. The toilet was located by the door next to the entrance but there was no sink for handwashing. Alcohol gel in a pump bottle was provided.
There is a café, lifestyle / clothes shop and supermarket in the same building. Very convenient and the hotel's location was walkable to all the sights in Ghent central.
The front desk staff were very polite and gracious and allowed us to store our luggage when we arrived before 11am, since check-in was strictly at 4pm. We were happy to find that our suitcases had been already delivered to our room when we returned to the hotel at 4pm.
There are 2 bars in the hotel - one which is open to the public which was buzzing in the evenings and a guest-only ”Honesty Bar” (1st photo) in which hotel guests could purportedly help themselves to liquor and pen down what they had imbibed - but I never saw anyone in it ! This could be due to a lack of ice or mixers. Or glasses. 🍸

GGiles LawrenceThe room was fine. We needed extra bedding and 2 nice staff came immediately and made the extra bed for us. However! We arrived with a reservation confirmation of 2 adults 1 child. Their confirmation had 2 people therefore the room they had was too small. They did have another room for 3 they said we could have but it would be 30 euros extra. At the time we simply agreed and paid as there was a big queue behind us and the amount was small. Buttons seemed like a con to extract more money from us, it wasn't our mistake as we had confirmation for 3 people at the designated price. It's a shame as I really liked Ghent and will certainly return but there are other hotels to choose from.

JJacksonDanielleThe hotel is very well located in the centre of Ghent, less than 5 minutes walk to the Castle and pretty much opposite Graffiti Street. We stayed as a family of four and the room was well laid out with plenty of space for all of us. The room was clean and had amenities to make a hot drink.

PPengguna TetamuThe two single beds requested were provided but it was not a safe arrangement as one bed was on a really elevated platform (four steps high from the ground) making it not easily accessible and frankly quite unsafe! The room was basic beyond imagination and even for a budget hotel was very poor. The room was on street level and the noise and headlights from the cars passing throughout the night was disturbing. The parking was very expensive and made the overall cost of the overnight stay not good value for money. The whole thing was very disappointing!

PPengguna TetamuRooms are not the same as shown on the website. Location is 100 meter walk from Hotel de Flandre, the opposite side. The receptionist said as friendly to walk us to the other hotel building called City Garden Hotel.
It's more motel like hotel. Staircases are very slippery when it rains, if you choose not to use the lift.
Rooms are not well maintained, light bulbs not working, safe not functional in one room, or low battery in the other room changed. We reported it to the reception, offered to changd one room, this time there is no toilet door??!!! And lots of diets and hair here n there...
Honestly overall experience is a bit disappointing for what you paid, thus not good value for money.
