BByungjikFirst of all, I really appreciate the amazing service and kindness.
It was my solo trip for pleasure, and NH collection ghent was the best choice. Here are some reasons:
1. Employees are so kind and helpful.
They even told me about some good souvenir options and festival information.
2. All the things are ready.
Anything you need? They just give you the right thing. (For instance, shaver)
3. Room is very spacious and clean.
I'm not sure it is new, but it feels like new.
Four. Fine room cleaning service
5. Great facilities: They have restaurant & gym & even bar.
Thank you for everything, I truly had a good time there.

I was impressed by the attention to detail and the overall freshness of the space. The location is excellent—convenient, accessible, and close to everything I needed, which made getting around the city very easy. The front desk staff were also incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful, making the entire stay even more pleasant. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

部屋は、清潔で広々しているが防音が脆弱で朝は外の工事音で目が覚め、夜はやっと眠りについた頃に廊下や隣り等の話し声やベッドが激しく軋む音が聞こえて起こされたり…ゆっくり寝に行ったのにまさかの寝不足で滞在を終えました。
建物は、横に広いので部屋に着くまでにかなり歩くことになる場合もありそうなので、ホテル入り口に近いなどリクエストできれば…
キッチン、レンジも付いている。
冷蔵庫がかなりうるさかったので、何も入れないのなら、電源offにしてしまうのもあり。

DDiane PHHands down best view from the room! Booked another night as I had a really good impression and experience - wish I had stayed longer! Bed is comfy and the room is...roomy enough. The ladies at the front were exceptionally accommodating for when I had issues checking out and checking back in. Staff is overall awesome! The only shower room is fairly well kept. For a small amount there will be everything that you will/might need: from towels, laundry/dryer, tea/coffee/beer/snacks, luggage storage, to kayaks. Didn't have to use the common kitchen but it seemed equipped. Really can't go wrong with the location - everything is within reach and the are is just simply beautiful day/night.

XXMHACTCBig and clean rooms, great location (right next to a tram station) and view outside the window. High quality slippers provided. Not so expensive compared to other hotels in Ghent. Warm welcome with lots of gifts. The structure of the building and the room is very interesting.
Drawbacks: A little bit dark inside at night. The window could not be closed completely. Some of the rooms have a toilet downstairs and sink upstairs, which is not convenient (I pointed this out and they quickly changed my room without extra charge). It took the reception at least 10 mins to find my stored luggage when leaving.

PPengguna TetamuMooi hotel, in het centrum op de rand maar toch gemakkelijk te bereiken, parking vrijdagmarkt op boogscheut.
Heel ruime kamer, groot bed, mini bar, koffie faciliteit, badkamer met bad en douche, mooi uitzicht op het water.
Vriendelijk personeel bij het onthaal, bij het ontbijt iets minder.
Toffe ontbijtruimte op het 3e verdiep met zicht over Gent en het water.
Ontbijtbuffet goed maar niet luxueus.
Dit hotel is zeker een aanrader!

PPengguna TetamuGenerally good location as it is right next to the train station (less than 5 minutes walk) and a 20 to 30 minutes walk from the hotel to the tourist spots in the city central (might be a bit of a walk for the elderly). Pretty average room with just a towel but you cant' complain for the price.
The only issue I had was what was mentioned by other visitors, the windows cannot be opened and you are not able to adjust the aircon settings. You will have to talk to the front counter to adjust your room temperature. However, even after adjusting aircon, the room was still stuffy.

PPengguna TetamuRooms are not the same as shown on the website. Location is 100 meter walk from Hotel de Flandre, the opposite side. The receptionist said as friendly to walk us to the other hotel building called City Garden Hotel.
It's more motel like hotel. Staircases are very slippery when it rains, if you choose not to use the lift.
Rooms are not well maintained, light bulbs not working, safe not functional in one room, or low battery in the other room changed. We reported it to the reception, offered to changd one room, this time there is no toilet door??!!! And lots of diets and hair here n there...
Honestly overall experience is a bit disappointing for what you paid, thus not good value for money.
