"The biggest advantage of this accommodation is definitely the location. I also found the price to be affordable and reasonable. That said, there were also some downsides. In the kitchen, the pots and frying pans provided were very old and worn out. In addition, the sink leaked, so whenever I used water, it would drip out and I had to keep wiping it up. As for the heating system, it seemed to have a lot of dust in it, which caused my nose to feel constantly stuffy and made me cough. There was also quite a bit of dust in general, as some areas did not seem to have been cleaned thoroughly. Since only some of the windows could be opened, it was also inconvenient to ventilate the room properly. The refrigerator had a slight odor as well. These are areas that seem to need improvement."

"Stayed for 3 nights in July 2025. Location is right across the street from the Wellesley station so you can take the metro anywhere from there. Self check in was pretty easy and straight forward. Communication was all through email and SMS. Front door to the house was via door code and there was a room key. The room was pretty basic but that's all I needed, a place to sleep, just a bed, hanger, TV, bathroom, and air conditioning in the warm summer."

"Moved three times to get a quiet room. Finally high floor double glazing. Breakfast Buffett top. Restaurant good food and service. Easy access from airport/station by express train via union station and subway union station 4 sops College. We enjoyed our stay very much."

"Hotel itself is ok, however, checkin was denied even 2 hours after confirmed booking as hotel did not have our booking info. We have to call 3 different Trip.com toll free numbers for help but each of them said 'not my department' and gave us another number to make the next unsuccessful call. It took just about 1 hour to finally sort out the checkin issue. Then sometimes later, I got another confirmation with a revised booking number, the previous one got lost? This event has left a bad taste in my mouth and unfortunately will make me hesitate to book thru Trip.com next time."

"Friendly staff at front desk, smooth check-in. There’s everything you need in the sparkly clean room even though i stayed the smallest room. Laundry is available. Location is excellent. There is a 24-hour convenience store cross the main street. The neighborhood is lovely. Really enjoyed the stay. Will consider comeback next time."

"Understanding what this place is will help with expectations. It’s not a 5 star hotel and it’s not meant to be. While there are some rooms that have a private washroom, many have a shared washroom with a couple washrooms on each level. Kind of like a hostel. If you’re looking for a place to sleep for a night or 2 in a great location in downtown Toronto, without having to spend a new car payment, then this place is great. Beds are clean and comfortable. I got a room with 2 single beds for under $130 after missing my train and needing a place to sleep until the next train in the morning. About a 10 to 15 minute walk to Union Station. Service is friendly."

"This time was watching concert at Massey Hall. Hotel location is just crossing a road. Good for us to take rest after the show finished.✅"

"The staff were very polite and respectful, which we appreciated. However, there were several issues during the stay. The app states that the security deposit can be paid in cash, but when we arrived, the staff seemed reluctant to accept a cash deposit, which was confusing and inconvenient. The room was definitely not very clean, though it was still manageable. The air conditioning does not work — only wall fans are available. The hotel is also quite noisy 24 hours a day, making it hard to sleep. In addition, the lower part of the hotel is under repairs, and the noise from that also disturbs guests at night. The location is okay, but the street is rarely cleared of snow, which can make access difficult. Overall, the staff are kind, but the comfort and facilities could be improved."

"We booked this hotel for the adults only pool, being that it was March break they allowed children into the adults only pool (as well as there being a children’s pool). We would have liked this information beforehand as the pool was the reason for booking. We were only able to get access to the pool between 10-11pm. Otherwise hotel was very clean, we had a standard queen room which was really nice with a comfortable bed. Bathroom needs some renovations, especially the bath/shower situation. We enjoyed our stay but we feel that information about the pool should have been known upfront and not made aware to us upon check in"
