"The hotel boasts an excellent location, just a few dozen meters from the station, making it very convenient for travelers. However, it’s worth noting that the station itself is not situated nearby attractions. We are appreciated that Ibis provided free intown public transportation pass during the period.
The lobby is comfortable and welcoming, providing a pleasant first impression. On the downside, the room design feels somewhat dated, with a standardized Ibis style."
"I found this place to be super convenient! The location is perfectly situated right between the airport and the city center, so getting around was a total breeze.
It was also really handy having a supermarket and convenience stores just a short walk away for grabbing quick snacks and drinks. The reception staff were awesome, too—they were so helpful with getting the free city transport pass during the stay.
The best part, though, was the airport shuttle. The pick-up and drop-off were such a lifesaver and made the whole trip way less stressful—really appreciated that extra touch! Definitely a solid choice if you want an easy, hassle-free stay."
"We came before check-in and i asked if we can check-in already if there are available rooms and she said no. But while we were there are the lobby, she checked-in some groups and 2 gentlemen who came after us. I indicated in my booking our early check-in request but she didnt allow us. Further, she did not send the city pass prior check-in unlike in the hotel in montreux who sent us the montreux riviera cards days ahead. When i followed-up, she said the city will send it. How are we suppose to get it from the city. When i told my family about it, thats the only time she approached us and said that she will email it."
"Absolutely loved the location and the ease of access of the hotel. While the bathroom was a little tiny, the room and all facilities provided for the Hotel de Geneve were very good, and I wholly recommend the hotel for your stay in Geneva. Special shootout to the friendly and accommodating staff at the reception. Thank you!"
"Clean and secure hotel near train station. However we heard ruckus from the streets all night till the next morning! Incredulous how these people can party. We stayed at the side facing the back of the hotel where there was the tobacco shop. The front facing is quieter so can try to request that side if possible. Luggage storage is CHF7 per luggage for 4 hrs, we paid a total of CHF 14 for both luggages. Staff here are very friendly, but because it is a budget hotel be prepared to pay extra for amenities. Only Towel and soap are given."
"Discover the charm of Hotel Cornavin, perfectly situated in the heart of Geneva. This hotel offers stunning panoramic views of the city and Lake Geneva from its top-floor breakfast room, making every morning special. Guests love the modern, comfortable rooms and the exceptional service from the friendly staff. Its prime location next to the main train station provides easy access to all of Geneva's top attractions. Whether you're traveling for business or pleasure, Hotel Cornavin provides a memorable and convenient stay."
"We stayed here for three nights and loved every minute of it. The property is beautiful and immaculate. What really stood out was the exceptional customer service—everyone greeted us with a smile. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices. We will definitely be back!"
"My recent stay at the Hotel Royal in Geneva was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the experience was defined by a perfect blend of classic elegance and warm, attentive service.
The hotel’s location is ideal, situated in a peaceful and prestigious neighbourhood yet just a pleasant stroll from the lake, the Jet d’Eau, and the charming Old Town. It offers the best of both worlds: a tranquil retreat from the city's bustle with unparalleled accessibility.
What truly set the stay apart, however, was the staff. Every team member I encountered was genuinely friendly and proactive, offering thoughtful recommendations and ensuring every detail was taken care of."
"Point faible : Notre chambre n’était pas celle présentée sur le site. Chambre vieillissante, petite, aucun raffinement. Tâche sur le dessus de la couette. Petit déjeuner très moyen, le chaud est froid est beaucoup de produits industriels sans aucune saveur. Point fort : Emplacement idéal pour aller au lac ou dans le centre avec la ligne 2. Les employés sont charmants. Nombreux parkings souterrains autour de l’Hôtel."

TTravelshortsI stayed at Hotel Suisse Geneva during my time in Geneva, and the standout feature of this hotel is its location. It is literally right across the road from the main train station, which makes it incredibly convenient whether you’re arriving by rail, heading to the airport, or planning day trips.
Being so close to the station also means excellent public transport connections, but what I found even more useful is that most of Geneva’s main sights are within easy walking distance. You can comfortably reach the lake, the Old Town, shops, and restaurants without needing to rely on transport, which makes exploring the city simple and efficient.
The hotel itself is comfortable and practical, with clean rooms and everything you need for a short city stay. It’s not overly luxurious, but it’s well maintained and does the job perfectly if you’re planning to spend most of your time out exploring Geneva.
Because of its central location, it’s a great choice for both short stays and stopovers. It also works particularly well if you have an early train or a tight schedule, as you don’t need to factor in extra travel time to get to the station.
I would highly recommend Hotel Suisse Geneva for anyone prioritising convenience and location. If you want to be right in the centre of everything with excellent transport links, it’s a very practical and reliable choice.
PPengguna TetamuQuite convenient, close to the airport. Their shuttle runs reliably but you can also walk to the airport main building, it’s a 10min walk.
What’s convenient is the airport and train station are integrated and the Palexpo exhibition center is also reachable easily.
Their shuttle runs hotel rooms are fine, very clean and the staff were friendly.

We had such a wonderful stay at Hotel Sagitta and I honestly feel it deserves more recognition for the value it offers.
First of all, the location is unbeatable. It’s only about a 10-minute walk to the famous waterfalls and the Old Town, which made everything so convenient. We could stroll out in the morning, explore all the beautiful spots, take photos, grab meals, and come back to rest without needing to drive. Being able to park the car and just walk everywhere was such a big plus.
Yes, the hotel has a slightly older, classic style — but everything is clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. What really surprised me (in the best way!) was that our room came with a kitchenette. I did not expect that at all. Having a small kitchen setup made such a difference — we could prepare simple meals, make coffee, and feel a bit more “at home” instead of just staying in a typical hotel room.
There was also a bathtub, which was another pleasant surprise. After a long day of walking around and sightseeing, being able to relax in a hot bath was perfect. Not many budget-friendly hotels provide that!
For the price we paid, this is honestly one of the best deals in such a prime location. It’s affordable, practical, and provides everything you need for a comfortable stay — good space, useful amenities, parking convenience, and walking distance to all the attractions.
If you are looking for a budget-friendly stay with excellent location and great value for money, this hotel is definitely worth considering. We would absolutely stay here again.
PPengguna TetamuI had an excellent stay at Hotel Warwick. The location is truly unbeatable, with the train station just a few steps away—perfect for easy and convenient travel around the city. We were also pleasantly surprised and very grateful for the early check-in, which made our arrival much more comfortable.
The staff were exceptionally professional and attentive, always ready to help with a warm attitude. Our room was spotless, well-maintained, and provided a cozy space to relax after a long day.
Overall, Hotel Warwick exceeded our expectations with its strategic location, thoughtful service, and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended.
PPengguna TetamuHotel very comfy, in front the train station, we loved stay here, we got a room in front of the river with a amazing view! Staff very friendly
PPengguna TetamuThe location and the service is really good, the staffs are really helpful and supportive.
The room looks a bit old but in a good condition.
KKFManThe Ruby Claire Hotel is situated in central Geneva, very convenient to getting around especially for first time visitors. Staff at the hotel were super friendly and helpful. Rafael, the staff who checked us in, recommended us a number of places of interest worth visiting, showed us the best way (transportation) to get around the city, and public transportation was free as offered by the hotel. Knowing that we’d be staying for three nights, he recommended us to take the “daily make up room service”, rather than the welcome drinks. Good advice! Self service coffee and teas were available for free from the “library” situated on each floor, 24/7. Highly recommended!

JJulius The hotel located near United Nations, public transportation is free by traveling in GENEVA, the hotel staff will help to register when you check in. The room was clean, but the furniture was a bit old as expected. The breakfast was offered by semi buffet, a variety of food selections, quality of food was nice.
EExplorer001Everything is totally automated. No front desk, you input your codes at the door and input your locker codes. It is great for just 2 nights or less… zero social interactions as there’s no reception, kitchen or lobby. The location is perfect as it is In the centre… less than 20minutes walk to to Lake Geneva, Jardin Anglais and the train station.
