Hotel berhampiran Muzium Blok, Taichung

I did not expect this accommodation to be a motel based on its Chinese name, so it was a bit of a surprise when I checked in. The location is very convenient, which is a big plus. However, the overall environment had a slight smell of cigarette smoke. The room itself was spacious, but for guests arriving on foot, the access route is not very intuitive—you need to go down to the basement first and then enter through the parking garage, which makes the circulation feel somewhat inconvenient.

This was my 3rd time staying here. Very near to railway station & foodcourt nearby. Room is clean but quite small & limited space if you have larger luggage. However, the breakfast is delicious & it's healthier choice during our stay this round. The service staff is very polite & courteous at all time. The reception staff even have the record which I stayed before. There is also a waiting area with seats & table for guests with relaxing music being played. A small area for younger kids too. A good choice for hotel accommodation if you plan to visit Taichung.

整體其實是失望的 因為從一進門服務人員找不到的我的訂房諮詢 甚至問我姓氏的英文以及訂房的人數、性別？ 到大廳裝置藝術上的座位區、後排充滿著灰塵 戶外區也充滿著落葉 會注意到這麼多 是因為我在大廳等候我的行李非常久 我的行李 在我忙小孩及家人安排手作的同時 他們已經推到房間去了 等我回神需要那個提包 服務人員說要從房間幫我領出（我們還不能進房間） 但我有一件隨身的提包是小孩的日用品 剛好小孩要上廁所 所以我們在大廳等了那個提包等了將近20分鐘 其餘的硬體設施 迎賓的茶水實在簡陋 房間窗景的玻璃有大面水漬（本來以為是起霧） 住房樓下的景緻有一區是雜草+看似荒廢的青苔區 感覺整個飯店最花心思的就是園藝 不太明白為何會有這區？落差很大 在所有餐點費用都是另計的前提下 真的沒有價格上的價值 食物的部分很可以 洗衣是加分的 所有服務人員接待也都很友善 如果房價下修，會考慮再訪 但如果維持此價格、此設施 不會再訪 

Very beautiful hotel. Staff were courteous. There is a KFC next to the hotel and a family mart nearby. Outside the hotel ,you can bus no.5 to taichung station. Overall I am very satified with my stay there.

I chose this hotel because it is a two-minute walk from Taichung station. There are plenty of places to eat nearby, including the famous ice cream place Miyahara. The laundry room has two washing machines and two dryers. I chose a windowless room, it was a great size for one person, and I couldn't hear my neighbours.

The room is as described and shown on the pictures. I gave a 4 for cleanliness as on first night, I found hairs on the bed & a hole on the bath towel. I reported to the staff via LINE (in Taiwan they use mainly LINE to communicate). They quickly took action and offered to change the bedsheets and clean the room. As I stayed for a week, they scheduled a housekeeping on day 4 of my stay. The soundproofing is not the best but if needed earplugs are provided in the room. It was the winter in Taiwan when I was there so having a hot shower is important and the hot water is available. I like that there is water dispenser at each room level, rubbish and recycling bins are located outside so it is convenient. The location of the inn is about 15 minutes walk from the Taichung Train Station. If you are carrying large luggage, advise to take a Uber. It is near to 一中街 (yizhong street) where you can find many shops, food, etc. From the inn, cutting through the open space carpark, you will be at the shopping area. As a female solo traveller, at the start I was a bit concerned of the location of the inn. The entrance to the inn is in a alley, next to a bistro bar. You need the access card to enter the inn so that is find, just make sure it is lock after you enter. The front desk only operates from 11 am - 10:30 pm. There is an emergency hotline number to call for afterhour service. Using LINE to communicate with them is easy. There's a cafe next to the inn where you can have breakfast with discount by showing your room card. If you want to travel to places, there are many buses. If not, it is easy to get Uber. For first time traveller to Taichung, he/she will not be aware that toilet paper cannot be thrown into the toilet bowl, so it is good to have a sign to show that. Overall, the staff are friendly and helpful. For the price, it is value for money.

Location - I’m not sure if we just missed out on what’s nearby. But we did walk on the sides, we were searching around of what’s there to see. We didn’t see much, like we realized after walking for a few minutes that we just found the convenient store which is kinda far if that was the nearest available (or again, there could be one the other side we don’t know haha). So after walking around, and realizing there’s nothing much to see. We already booked an Uber going to the night market. It wasn’t that far from the HSR Station. I couldn’t remember the exact distance and travel time. But if I find it far I’d normally remember it and say it. Service - it was an easy check-in and check-out. Though, I almost forgot to get a receipt. Had to proactively ask for one. Luckily we decided to stay for a bit after checking out, we remembered it and got to request for it. I like how they already asked upon checking in if we need a room cleaning service. That was convenient. The breakfast was so so (on my personal taste bud). Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t that bad. I love the room the most! We were happy about how spacious it is. And it has an AI box which we loved. The bathtub has a tv, the shower area was spacious, the ambience of the room, hallways and lobby. The free snacks. The brand of the body wash and conditioner. The free Nescafe machine in the lobby. I’d definitely recommend it and I’d stay here again. (Though I still have a pending concern that I have to figure out myself, cause the amount showing in the invoice was different from the amount showing on tha app. Haven’t checked how much was the final amount taken out on my card) The late check out costs Ntd$1,000/hour

excellent service by all staff; all smiley and ready to help. the free meals were such a bonus and god sent as some days we got too busy with our itinerary and didn’t have time to eat so we would go back to hotel for supper. although the menu was the same everyday, we didn’t mind as the quality was quite decent and there were varieties. the water pressure was the best! bed was comfortable, aircon was cold, smart tv, quick resolution service by technicians when we couldn’t connect to the room wifi. overall would recommend! there’s also a massage service with discount for room guests; quite mediocre but for the price ok la.

We spent 3 nights. The room was automatically upgraded to a larger room with two king beds. Servics are good. Breakfast is not fancy but OK.

The room was good and clean. And they offer a self-service laundry- of course you need to pay your laundry which is fare enough. But they don't provide any toothpaste ans toothbrush, which was indicated in their front desk and before booking. I was a bit confused though because I thought the reservation includes breaksfast as stated in the site but when i arrived, i was informed that it wasn't included. But the staffs are kind and helped me booked a taxi going back to the airport at a wee hour. The room i stayed had a window, there's ref and closet with only 2 hangers. The only problem i had was the aircon which was centralized or controlled so when it is cold at night, it is hard to increase the temperature. I couldn't really sleep well.
