Hotel berhampiran Jambatan Chaohui, Shijiazhuang

Really nice! The decor was classy. The rooms were very clean and everyone in the hotel was very friendly. The bed was much more comfortable than at many Chinese hotels I've stayed at. I also like that they replenish the breakfast buffet throughout the operating time so you aren't left with crumbs if you don't arrive immediately. They have someone on site who will make fresh breakfast noodles or wontons for you. The hotel isn't very close to any attractions, but it is just a few steps away from a subway station, so it's very easy to do things like go to the provincial museum. There are also good restaurants nearby. I went to the hotpot restaurant Happy Lamb, which near the intersection just to the west of the hotel. They were very friendly and helpful even though I wanted a table for one. If I would improve anything, I'd make clearer signage explaining how to get to the lobby. (It's on the fifth floor of the building.) That wasn't clearly explained in either Chinese or English, so both a local couple and I were worried we had gone to the wrong address. No English was spoken when I went there, and the women at the desk told me I was the first foreign customer they'd had in three years. Still, they were very friendly and helpful. Just be aware if you're foreign you may need to learn some simple phrases in Chinese to communicate with them or have a translation program you can use.

Great Value and Prime Location, with a Few Minor Drawbacks Overall Impression & Room Quality This hotel is an excellent choice for the price. The rooms are nice and very clean, providing a comfortable base for your stay. I also appreciated the small touches, like the complimentary water bottles in the room. The bathroom amenities—including the body wash, shampoo, and conditioner—are all of good quality. Dining Experience The hotel restaurant is solid; while it won't necessarily blow your mind, it reliably does the job. However, the breakfast is a bit below average and could benefit from a wider variety of choices. Staff & Facilities The staff, both at reception and in the restaurant, are very good and provide great service. On the downside, the gym is really small, so it may not be ideal if you have a strict workout routine. Location The location is absolutely ideal. The telepheric (cable car) to go up the mountain is literally a 2-minute walk from the hotel. Furthermore, if you decide to walk up or come down from the mountain on foot, the entrance is conveniently located just across the street. Verdict Highly recommended for its cleanliness, great staff, and unbeatable location, as long as you don't mind a basic breakfast and a compact gym.

Clean new hotel. I request non smoking room. I checked in room with clean air. As soon as the next room smoked. I can smell in my room. Staff moved me to a different room, which is fine. This hotel does not have a separate non-smoking floor. If you are sensitive, beware. Staff tried to accommodate as best they could.

The Ximei Continental Hotel is a great choice for travelers who want to enjoy and relax in Shijiazhuang. The staff courtesy makes this hotel one of the best in the city. Recommend it!

I stayed at this Holiday Inn store when I visited Shijiazhuang for the first time, I liked it so much I always stay here. Then I reserve this hotel often for my daughter’s frequent visits to Shijiazhuang, and after her stay this time, she strongly urged me to write a review since she was so impressed by the manager 賈曉玲 who helped her to find an up-graded room while the front desk could not get her into a room after the regular check-in time(probably due to the May One holiday crowd). I sincerely appreciate 賈曉玲 for her helpfulness and kind gesture. I’d say, as a busy traveler myself, I see what she did truly represent the best of of the hospitality business, and for what she had done for my daughter( as well as me), she gained a faithful customer for life. Thank you, 賈䁱玲.

This hotel is the most beautiful in Shijiazhuang. The landscape is beautiful and the interior is very aesthetic. The room is very spacious with high ceilings and it is extremely beautiful. The room was clean and we enjoyed the bath tub. There is also a big balcony but due to it being winter time we didn’t get to enjoy it. The gym is great for a hotel and not to mention very clean. It has all the essential equipment for a great workout. The hotel advertised having western and Chinese breakfast however as a foreigner the western selection is basically just bacon and some different types of bread (croissant, danish etc). The breakfast was also extremely cold for the 5 days we had it. Also there was only 1 restaurant (a la carte) open during our stay so we had to find our lunch and dinner outside of the hotel. This was extremely difficult as there aren’t many food options in this area. This was the only thing we didn’t like.

The hotel is good and the location is convenient close to the subway , and shopping mall . The hotel is surrounded by restaurants with delicious Chinese cuisine and other types which is good to have food at anytime. It’s good to stay at this location if you prefer traveling by train , it’s takes 10 to 15 minutes by taxi to the railway station. The ladies at the reception are providing good service they can also assist you if you need help. It’s a lively place.
