Really nice! The decor was classy. The rooms were very clean and everyone in the hotel was very friendly. The bed was much more comfortable than at many Chinese hotels I've stayed at. I also like that they replenish the breakfast buffet throughout the operating time so you aren't left with crumbs if you don't arrive immediately. They have someone on site who will make fresh breakfast noodles or wontons for you. The hotel isn't very close to any attractions, but it is just a few steps away from a subway station, so it's very easy to do things like go to the provincial museum. There are also good restaurants nearby. I went to the hotpot restaurant Happy Lamb, which near the intersection just to the west of the hotel. They were very friendly and helpful even though I wanted a table for one. If I would improve anything, I'd make clearer signage explaining how to get to the lobby. (It's on the fifth floor of the building.) That wasn't clearly explained in either Chinese or English, so both a local couple and I were worried we had gone to the wrong address. No English was spoken when I went there, and the women at the desk told me I was the first foreign customer they'd had in three years. Still, they were very friendly and helpful. Just be aware if you're foreign you may need to learn some simple phrases in Chinese to communicate with them or have a translation program you can use.

Great Value and Prime Location, with a Few Minor Drawbacks Overall Impression & Room Quality This hotel is an excellent choice for the price. The rooms are nice and very clean, providing a comfortable base for your stay. I also appreciated the small touches, like the complimentary water bottles in the room. The bathroom amenities—including the body wash, shampoo, and conditioner—are all of good quality. Dining Experience The hotel restaurant is solid; while it won't necessarily blow your mind, it reliably does the job. However, the breakfast is a bit below average and could benefit from a wider variety of choices. Staff & Facilities The staff, both at reception and in the restaurant, are very good and provide great service. On the downside, the gym is really small, so it may not be ideal if you have a strict workout routine. Location The location is absolutely ideal. The telepheric (cable car) to go up the mountain is literally a 2-minute walk from the hotel. Furthermore, if you decide to walk up or come down from the mountain on foot, the entrance is conveniently located just across the street. Verdict Highly recommended for its cleanliness, great staff, and unbeatable location, as long as you don't mind a basic breakfast and a compact gym.

I had an excellent two-night stay at Yitel Collection near Shijiazhuang Railway Station and would absolutely book again on my next business trip! The location is unbeatable. The hotel offers a free shuttle service to the railway station, which saved me a lot of trouble with heavy luggage. It’s just a short ride to Shijiazhuang Station, and Ximei Huajie commercial area is within walking distance, packed with restaurants, convenience stores and shopping options. The property is newly renovated with modern smart facilities. Rooms are spotlessly clean with separated wet and dry bathroom areas, voice-controlled curtains, smart toilet and comfortable Molblly zero-pressure mattresses for sound sleep. Free welcome fruits and unlimited bottled water are nice little touches from the front desk. Breakfast has a rich variety of Chinese local food, and complimentary afternoon tea is available in the lobby. They also have a 24-hour gym and self-service laundry room with washer-dryer, extremely practical for long-stay travelers. Staff are warm, polite and responsive to all requests. Great value for money, highly recommended for train transit and business visits!

**Hotel Review: Aesthetic Excellence Overshadowed by Comfort Failures** Our recent stay at this supposedly 5-star hotel left us with mixed feelings. While the hotel clearly invested heavily in aesthetics, creating a visually stunning environment that looks fantastic in photos, the design seemed to prioritize form over function, ultimately compromising our comfort. Sadly, this became a deal-breaker for us. The most glaring issue was the room's ventilation and temperature control—or lack thereof. We visited in early March, and the entire building was excessively heated. Despite being from a tropical country and accustomed to warm weather, I found myself sweating in shorts and a singlet. The staff, though polite and eager to help, seemed powerless to address the issue. They provided us with a small portable AC unit, which was better than nothing, but it was clear from their demeanor that this was a recurring problem for guests. Sleeping was a nightmare. The only way to cool the room slightly was to keep the windows open, but this meant having the blinds and curtains up, allowing outside noise and light to flood in. The choice was between sleeping in a sauna-like environment or enduring the disturbances from outside. Needless to say, we had a terrible night's sleep and were relieved to check out after just one night. On a positive note, the service was impeccable. The staff truly deserve recognition for their efforts to assist guests despite the limitations they faced. The breakfast spread was also a highlight—delicious, varied, and reasonably priced, especially if you inform them in advance about adding breakfast to your stay. The room amenities were top-notch, and the spaciousness of the room added to the overall sense of luxury. We got a family suite which was plenty spacious and came with 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 bathtubs and a living area. However, these positives couldn’t outweigh the discomfort caused by the poor temperature regulation. During our trip, we stayed in four different cities across China, and this was the only hotel that lacked proper air conditioning and heating controls. For a 5-star establishment, this is a significant oversight. In conclusion, while the hotel excels in aesthetics, service, and amenities, the lack of a well-thought-out solution for room temperature is a major drawback. Management needs to address this issue with a long-term fix. After all, no matter how beautiful a hotel looks, it’s hard to appreciate it when you can’t get a good night’s rest.

The hotel is elegant, comfortable, and perfectly maintained. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-equipped, and every detail was handled with professionalism and care. Everything I needed during my stay was provided promptly and with genuine kindness. I would especially like to recognize Kara, Vicky (The house keeper), and Vivian for their exceptional service. They went above and beyond to make my stay truly worthwhile, always attentive, warm, and ready to help. Their dedication and hospitality made a real difference and left a lasting impression. InterContinental Shijiazhuang delivers world-class service and comfort. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again whenever I’m in the city.

總體水平中上 服務：前台接待不錯很禮貌熱情，但是沒有禮賓，或者沒有看到禮賓服務，開車門拉行李這些標五有的這裏都沒有。 大堂不是特別大，但端午佈置了活動，導致非常擁擠，很多小孩子很吵鬧，休息區坐滿了人，讓本就不大的大廳顯得像個菜市場，這也不是一個主打親子的酒店吧 設施：房間8236# 內部6個插座，衹有床北側以及minibar的兩個個插座有電，還有minibar上面的插座十分鬆動根本不敢使用，吹頭髮都需要站在床旁邊吹，其他插座全都不能用，快捷酒店都不會有這種問題，洗浴室門明明是向內推開但是貼着“拉”的標簽 衞生：達標，肉眼看到的都很乾凈，但是浴袍上有污漬而且太粗糙了沒法用 環境：很棒有一個很大的園林景色也可以的

Room was on 6th floor, nobody helped us find it, towels and bedsheets were old and with holes 🥲 walls were visibly repaired some parts got teared apart wallpapers, some lights on the ceiling didn’t work so room was quite dark, bathroom sink was outside near the door, shower water became cold after 10 minutes of use and water was dripping from heater right on your head and all over the floor, there was no smell in the room, view was carpark between two taller buildings, mattress and pillows were surprisingly soft, we stayed two days nobody came to take out the trash or renew the toilet paper/water 😂 seems there is no cleaning at all. Only cozy corner was the armchairs in front of of the window, if you wanted slippers you should pay for it extra 20¥😂we were mostly outside so for one time bearable stay but i can’t recommend maybe only for affordable price and excellent location … oh yeah bed was too short and our feet stayed outside😆
