Hotel berhampiran Taman Chiayi, Chiayi

Really good location, the room was really clean shampoo and body wash was provided we just had to pay to use a bathroom towel which wasn’t much. The staff were friendly and helpful and the location was great about 10 minutes walk to the train station that goes to Alishan and the bus stop just outside the train station. If you arrive by the bullet train they provide a shuttle to the main station for free which is convenient. Restaurants and shops are all in walking distance from this accommodation.

superb location right opposite the TRA station and bus stop for Alishan. major drawback is the poor soundproofing which made it difficult to sleep as some neighbour was on a call until 12am. he wasn’t speaking particularly loudly, but i could make out most of what he was saying due to the poor noise insulation.

Around 500 m from the TRA Chiayi front exit, the staff are friendly and kind. The room is big enough for two people and their luggage. The lobby smells good; there is a small café in the lobby. The bathroom is a separate wet and dry area. A hairdryer is in the room, and the toilet is an automatic bidet. The bed is comfortable, and the pillows are soft for sleeping well. We were able to leave our luggage after checking out because of my Alishan itinerary.

Hotel lama, ada bau pelik di udara dalam bilik, tetapi jika anda membuka sedikit tingkap, penghawa dingin akan menjadi lebih baik, perkhidmatannya baik, terdapat tempat letak kereta (anda boleh masuk dan keluar dengan bebas. , tetapi tempat letak kereta tidak dikhaskan), dan basikal boleh disewa secara percuma (Walaupun jumlahnya tidak besar, disarankan agar mereka yang ingin menggunakannya tiba di hotel lebih awal, supaya mereka tidak kecewa) Terdapat tab mandi di dalam bilik, tetapi tiada bilik mandi, jadi anda perlu melangkah ke tab mandi untuk mandi. Kelemahannya ialah tab mandi itu agak tinggi, jadi berhati-hati ketika keluar masuk. Orang yang mempunyai kaki pendek mungkin sedikit bermasalah, tetapi terdapat pegangan tangan di dinding di sebelah tab mandi untuk digenggam. .(saya 164cm, dan saya rasa agak terhalang tanpa tempat letak tangan..) Terdapat sedikit pilihan untuk sarapan pagi, dan terdapat sedikit pilihan barat, tetapi rasanya tidak teruk. Walaupun kakitangan perkhidmatan telah mengiklankan bahawa mereka harus memakai topeng semasa menghidangkan hidangan, mereka tidak dikawal ketat. Masih ada orang yang menghidangkan hidangan. tanpa memakai topeng, tetapi kini semuanya tidak tertutup. Mereka yang memikirkan diri mereka sendiri Setelah memikirkannya, pengalaman keseluruhannya tidak buruk, dan ia sangat dekat dengan bandar. I chose An Lan Jie Hotel primarily for its location, and it did not disappoint. It's literally a 3-5 minute walk from Chiayi Train Station and the bus pick-up point for Alishan . If you're planning an early morning trip up the mountain, you simply cannot beat this convenience. There's also a Family Mart right across the street and plenty of local eateries nearby . The staff were a highlight—genuinely friendly, helpful, and spoke good English . They provided clear instructions for self-check-in (the whole place uses digital door codes, so you don't need to worry about losing a key card) . I stayed in a private room, which was clean, comfortable, and exactly as pictured. The common area on the 14th floor is a real bonus—it's beautifully decorated, has a great city view, and offers free tea and coffee for guests . The bed was comfortable, and the Wi-Fi worked well . A few small things to note: the bathrooms are functional but can be a bit compact [7]. Also, be aware that towels aren't provided (you can rent one for a small fee), so you might want to bring your own . Overall, this is a fantastic, budget-friendly option for solo travelers or couples who prioritize location and cleanliness. It’s the perfect base for exploring Chiayi and catching that first bus to Alishan. I would definitely stay here again.

Lokasinya bagus, berjalan kaki singkat dari stesen Kereta Api Chiayi. Sarapan pagi adalah baik tetapi jika anda pergi terlalu lewat akan ada sedikit makanan yang tinggal (kadang-kadang mesin kopi/teh kehabisan serbuk). Bilik-bilik adalah bersih dan selesa.

My husband and I were visiting my brother. Stay there for two nights. The celling was quite low and the bathroom was OK. However, overall cleanness is a bit below standard. The flooring in the shower seemed dirty and well used, we were not confident to walk in the shower with our bare foot.

First I was supposed to give 2 stars because when we arrive at hotel, they only accept cash in twd dollar as we thought already paid via online. So, it caused us to paid more compared to online as the exchange rate. We dunno why they wanted us paid first via online and then refund to us after the day check out. This will make the process too complicated. This hotel was so traditional even no online payment & maybe doesn't have debit card too? Honestly, the hotel was really nice looking & clean as the pic shown. The toilet look good but the bathroom door was so so old and rushed cannot close. The bed was strangely & weirdly comfortable but it sounds of spring so so noisy when we moving around the bed. This must be changed because senior or someone not comfortable with hard bed should not booking this hotel!!! The aircon work well but at night it automatically closed down. Maybe save electricity or something as thought we didn't set anything?? This hotel provided buffet at morning (6.30 - 8.30am) such as toast, rice and porridge. It so nice since this hotel was budgeted compared to other which more expensive. However, we dunno why they set the time so earlier in the morning should be until 11 am or 12 pm. Who will wake up in that time?? Maybe people cannot sleep that time or something else. I 100 % sure that the foods will be leftover. The service was well...ok nothing to comments. The overall still budgeted hotel & the location from train station was so near, the Wen Hua night market was so near about 800 meter. We still NOT STRATIFICATION with this hotel !!!!

Positives: - Very good location by the station. - Clean bed linen and towels. Negatives: - when we entered the room a cockroach ran across the floor. - the Wi-Fi didn’t work at all on the 4th floor, despite two WiFi networks connecting, you couldn’t load any internet pages. - there was only one bottle of water and one bath towel even though the room was for two people. When we asked reception, they told us to get another towel from the trolley in the hallway. - no one came in to make up the room (stayed two nights) - no hand soap in the bathroom (I understand the Taiwan policy on plastic usage but they supply body wash in a bottle so surely you can supply hand soap in a bottle too) - very hot in the room - no aircon only a fan (our mistake we didn’t see that when booking) - generally quite dirty (dirty floors, bathroom walls had mould and cracks in it, sink was stained dirty) - no shower curtain or panel in the bath so the room got wet when showering - reception staff were indifferent - expensive for what it is - wouldn’t recommend and wouldn’t stay again.
