Hotel berhampiran Bukit Fubo, Guilin

Outstanding boutique hotel situated in the most beautiful spot by the Yulong River with breathtaking views in all four directions! We like how the style of the hotel reflects and complements the natural beauty of the area. There are abundant amenities and plenty of activities to pursue just around the property. It’s perfect for people who want to enjoy the beautiful pristine Shanshui of Guilin uninterrupted. We travelled with our extended family of 7 and everybody had a great time (especially our 2yo). The hotel is very kids friendly and the staff are wonderful. The swimming pool is immaculate and well equipped. We were also happily surprised by the quality of the food provided at the hotel. The ingredients were local and super fresh and the beer fish was very tasty. We ended up eating most of our lunches and dinners at the hotel. The room itself is gorgeous. We woke up everyday bathing in the morning sun with unobstructed views of the breathtaking Shanshui along the Yulong river! If you wake up early and go to the top floor, you will be rewarded with a special bonus! We are already looking forward to our next trip to Yangshuo and Xishi Jinshe!

Great Location, Exceptional Staff! The Versailles Hotel is an easy recommendation for anyone visiting Guilin. Walking distance from the main railway station and a short DiDi ride to all major attractions. The location alone saves you real time and hassle. The staff are genuinely attentive and proactive. Highlight of my stay: they personally arranged efficient, cost-effective transport back from Yangshuo after the Impressions Liu Sanjie show. The property is clean, well-kept, and practical, on-site laundry is a bonus for multi-city travelers. Breakfast is hearty, and they serve proper Americano coffee, which seasoned travelers will appreciate more than they expect. Solid value, great location, staff that actually deliver. Highly recommend!!

Honestly if I could give 11/10 I would. The room, amenities & cleanliness were fantastic. The views of the mountains/ river were gorgeous and the grounds were very well maintained with wood carvings and eclectic touches of modern & traditional Chinese design. But for us what really put it over the edge was the friendliness, warmness and helpfulness of the staff who really went above and beyond. I could not recommend this hotel enough and will be top of my list if I’m ever back in Yangshuo. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel was very clean and service was very good. Receptionists were very kind and patient with my requests and I highly recommend this place to anybody visiting Guilin. The hotel's online shooting is also very good. The makeup artist is very nice to help choose clothes and draw simple makeup. The photographer teaches the action and shoots that the characters and scenery are all good. Finally, the film selector is also very patient to help you choose the film and will not push.

Room was well appointed and spacious. Kept rather clean too, but the air conditioning took extremely long to cool the room down, almost 7 hours to cool from 30 degrees to 26 degrees at full fan speed. Our room was facing the back street, it was very very noisy at night and noise from the street can be heard clearly. Hotel does provide earplugs. Free laundry and dryer available.

The hotel advertises as having an all-year-round open pool and it's not true. During our stay at the end of April with maximum temperatures above 30°C there was no pool to cool off, and the staff told us it was because it was still too early in the year. This was very disappointing as having a pool was the main reason for our choice of hotel, so I'd say this hotel didn't meet our expectations and they should state this clearly on Trip to avoid future confusion of guests. Other things to improve are the storage space in the rooms (there's barely any room to place suitcases etc) and the soundproofing (we were woken up several days by loud guests at 7am or earlier). On the positive side, the beds were comfortable (average hardness of mattress for westerners standards) and the shower was the best we've had in our whole trip through China: very modern, with good water pressure and no fluctuating temperature. The room thermostat worked really well and the hotel has some nice amenities for guests to use such as tea, massage chairs (a bit worn out but still working) and a vintage game console. The staff helped us with luggage, gave us information and even a small present at the end of our stay, which was a nice touch. The location of the hotel is in a quieter part of town, ideal for sleeping but still close enough to streets with lots of restaurants, cafes etc (try Heytea in west street if you can!). Overall it's been good value for money, although the hotel could do some clean up/refurbishment work and the pool availability should be advertised accurately.

The hotel enjoys an excellent location right by Rong Lake, part of the Two Rivers and Four Lakes scenic area. The hotel looks a bit old, but butlers Xu and Deng were extremely warm and welcoming. They told us the building has a 100-year history and once served as the headquarters of General Bai Chongxi during the warlord era, making it full of historical significance — truly amazing. After staying here for one night, we chose to come back and stay again. The butlers helped us deliver our luggage directly to our room, which brought us great convenience. Laundry service is also very convenient. Though there was a slight language barrier, the service was warm, thoughtful and attentive. We will definitely come back again.

Saya keluar pada waktu luar puncak, tetapi saya tidak terkejut dengan betapa sesaknya Yangshuo. Hotel ini besar, dan biliknya agak seperti di hotel bajet, dengan balkoni, pancuran mandian biasa dan bantal yang tidak selesa. Untuk makan malam, saya memilih rangkaian restoran di West Street yang dipanggil ”Master Chef.” Makanannya ok, tetapi keuntungannya agak curam. Terdapat 17 restoran di Yangshuo. Apa yang dipanggil ikan bakar bir sebenarnya adalah ikan keli. Pasar raya sebelah menjualnya pada harga 11.98 yuan setiap paun, tetapi di restoran, ia adalah 158 yuan setiap bahagian. Makan untuk dua orang berharga 300 yuan. Itu hanya kos sara hidup di bandar pelancongan. Adalah bijak untuk bersenang-senang dan pergi keesokan harinya. 😊

暑假跟朋友衝著他們家必吃榜餐廳過來的，排隊等位的時候發現還有客房，住店客人可以享受9折和優先安排座位，看了房間以後果斷下單了房間，有一説一他們家不管是餐廳還是客房都非常不錯，暑期價格也很實惠，店員也很客氣熱情，第一次來陽朔也給我們介紹了一些好玩的景點，酒店還可以代定一些景區的票，感覺不用怎麼規劃路線他們都給你介紹好了，下次帶家人過來還會選擇他家酒店，離江邊和西街都很近走路都能到，重點是他們家餐廳真的是特別好吃！！！來陽朔一定不要錯過

The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, with elegant rooms, a peaceful atmosphere, and attention to every small detail. One of the highlights was the breakfast — there was a fantastic variety of delicious options catering to different tastes, all fresh and of great quality. Another huge advantage is the hotel’s perfect location. SYYF Guilin is in close proximity to all the major attractions, making it extremely convenient to explore the beauty of Guilin without spending too much time travelling. Overall, this hotel offers the perfect combination of luxury, comfort, hospitality, and convenience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Guilin — we would definitely love to stay here again!
