PPengguna Tetamu之前去過望江樓餐吧吃飯（陽朔連續5年必吃榜餐廳），客棧就在旁邊。月初來陽朔旅行看到客棧新裝修了，果斷下單入住。
小而美的客棧，性價比真高，品質也很OK。關鍵是吃望江樓可以享受免排隊權益，太值啦！
客棧位置非常好，門口就是灕江，好多小姐姐在旅拍。我們從桂林乘坐遊輪到陽朔，出碼頭步行300米酒到達。徐悲鴻故居就在她們隔壁院子，下午去十里畫廊，租了電動車，前台還可以幫購買影響劉三姐的優惠門票。晚上走路3分鐘就到西街，非常方便。安利給大家！

YYifanOutstanding boutique hotel situated in the most beautiful spot by the Yulong River with breathtaking views in all four directions! We like how the style of the hotel reflects and complements the natural beauty of the area. There are abundant amenities and plenty of activities to pursue just around the property. It’s perfect for people who want to enjoy the beautiful pristine Shanshui of Guilin uninterrupted.
We travelled with our extended family of 7 and everybody had a great time (especially our 2yo). The hotel is very kids friendly and the staff are wonderful. The swimming pool is immaculate and well equipped. We were also happily surprised by the quality of the food provided at the hotel. The ingredients were local and super fresh and the beer fish was very tasty. We ended up eating most of our lunches and dinners at the hotel.
The room itself is gorgeous. We woke up everyday bathing in the morning sun with unobstructed views of the breathtaking Shanshui along the Yulong river! If you wake up early and go to the top floor, you will be rewarded with a special bonus!
We are already looking forward to our next trip to Yangshuo and Xishi Jinshe!

CCaine YuEnjoyed stay here. premium location, next to 工农桥, clean room with river view. Hotel provides electric bike which can take you almost anywhere around the area, must ride along the 遇龙河！I did enjoy both run and ride along the river, even though the walking path not friendly to runners. about 4.5km to town center with many restaurants.
Great service, very nice people can help you with anything, any questions. Nice afternoon tea. Best hotel for this Guilin 桂林 trip

PPengguna TetamuA perfect stay! The suite was beautiful and the hotel grounds are lovely, very clean, good location with e-scooters available to rent. Staff are super friendly and helpful, breakfast is nice and the bar upstairs is so cool. The bar should be on the map as a destination in itself. Such a good vibe and the drinks were incredible, the couple who run it are really talented.
It was my birthday during our stay and the staff helped my partner order a custom cake from a local bakery for delivery and gave us loads of recommendations for spots to check out.
Such a great price point too for what's offered, would highly recommend if you're considering this hotel.
P.s there was a free to use calligraphy station set up in the courtyard out-house. The sheet we used is now hung up on our wall. Thank you so much to all the staff at the desk, bartenders, cooks, and the owner. You were all wonderful and we wish you the best of successes

PPengguna TetamuEven though we stayed for only one night and our booking did not include breakfast (because we had to leave very early the next morning), the hotel staff treated us extremely well. The receptionist kindly upgraded our room for free and also allowed us to have breakfast at the hotel without any extra charge, which was a very pleasant surprise.
The location is excellent, especially for travelers using the train. The hotel is very close to Guilin Railway Station, and since there is no subway in Guilin, this made our travel much easier and more convenient.
The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The hotel provided all the necessary amenities and accessories we needed. The interior design is modern but cozy, making the stay relaxing even for a short time.
Overall, the service was warm, thoughtful, and beyond expectations. I really appreciated the kindness and flexibility of the staff. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Guilin, especially those who need a convenient location near the railway station.

Give souvenirs as we check out. Best service I ever experience in China's hotel! I leave clothes in dryer at 1 am and in morning, suddenly the clothes are provided in basket in front of room. PPengguna TetamuThe hotel advertises as having an all-year-round open pool and it's not true. During our stay at the end of April with maximum temperatures above 30°C there was no pool to cool off, and the staff told us it was because it was still too early in the year. This was very disappointing as having a pool was the main reason for our choice of hotel, so I'd say this hotel didn't meet our expectations and they should state this clearly on Trip to avoid future confusion of guests. Other things to improve are the storage space in the rooms (there's barely any room to place suitcases etc) and the soundproofing (we were woken up several days by loud guests at 7am or earlier). On the positive side, the beds were comfortable (average hardness of mattress for westerners standards) and the shower was the best we've had in our whole trip through China: very modern, with good water pressure and no fluctuating temperature. The room thermostat worked really well and the hotel has some nice amenities for guests to use such as tea, massage chairs (a bit worn out but still working) and a vintage game console. The staff helped us with luggage, gave us information and even a small present at the end of our stay, which was a nice touch. The location of the hotel is in a quieter part of town, ideal for sleeping but still close enough to streets with lots of restaurants, cafes etc (try Heytea in west street if you can!).
Overall it's been good value for money, although the hotel could do some clean up/refurbishment work and the pool availability should be advertised accurately.

PPengguna Tetamu”Extra-Large Bathtub” doesn't even begin to describe how incredibly large this bathtub was. It was more like a swimming pool. I was in heaven. I loved this hotel, the desk staff don't speak any English but they have these little ai-translation hand held devices (picture a dictaphone that translates) and are extremely helpful with a can-do attitude. I had some urgent documents I needed delivering and the staff were beyond helpful with that, I am very grateful to them. Also upon check-in they bumped me up to a suite (I didn't ask they were just being nice) and holy moly what a room. It was fabulous. The styling of this place is very old colonial palace vibes, I know they have some history displays up relating to the war but I didn't look into it, but it had a very classic airy vibe with traditional furniture and styling and I loved it. Some elements are a bit careworn and showing their age, but everything was immaculately clean. So, yes some elements like the carpeting may have seen better days but it's due to age rather than lack of attention, everything that mattered was sparkling. My shower could have fit about 5 people in there, and the bathtub another 6, so that was a real highlight, but the location was superb as well, it is on a private little resort island right next to the lake where the pagodas and bridges are. There is an easy access exit gate to the lakes, however I think it was run by the other hotel on the island because my key card didn't work late at night, however I must admit I had had a few and maybe wasn't the most able bodied reviewer in that moment. I recommend asking the staff because each night after the lake show with the performance and music lots of families were coming in that back way, so it's definitely possible I was just un-prepared. Regardless, even if you get locked out it's a short walk around to the other side of the island and the gatemen are very friendly. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel although it is not technically run by the hotel which just means it closes slightly earlier (much later than anywhere in Europe still), and when I went in the staff were just sitting around so I wasn't sure if they were open, but when they saw me they sprang into life and actually the older ladies spoke quite a lot of English and were very chatty and friendly, and they also have an iPad with an English ordering app so it is a breeze eating there. The food was very high quality and delicious, it was more expensive than eating in town but I would not say over priced given how good it was. The bar in the hotel is also nice. You can get delivery food brought directly to your room which is also excellent. They don't have room service food but why would you bother when delivery is available. The hotel has a private drive way so getting picked up for excursions or Didi rides is so easy, and the area is beautifully quiet and there are lots of birds. It is very close to all the attractions like Elephant Trunk Hill, which makes doing things (or retreating home due to the fearsome heat) very easy. I will warn you the hotel is nicely airy in the way old villas in Europe are, but because of that your air conditioning will never match that kind of incredible ice cold blast you might be familiar with in Hong Kong. Obviously, this is a very small problem when you can easily cool off in the mega-bath or mega-shower or just sit at a comfortable level of air conditioning, but if you are the kind of foreign traveller who is unaccustomed to the strong heat just be aware that this is a vintage place so you won't be able to whack the AC down to 15c and freeze yourself for relief. I really recommend this hotel, it was absolutely lovely. Oh also there is a lovely jovial old man who comes round in the evening to deliver you milk at bedtime every day, what a guy.

PPengguna TetamuHad an incredible stay here! The views are stunning (probably one of the best out of all the other accommodations nearby), the room was clean and the service was friendly. It's a family owned business and everyone is lovely. If you're taking a bus, it won't drop you all the way to the hotel but if you give the hotel a call, someone can come pick you up from the bus stop. I had a bit of a miscommunication with my previous hotel who arranged a coach for us that dropped us off at a very far away drop off point and someone still came and picked us up from there with no complaints (and did not charge us for it)!! We were also dropped back off at the bus stop on the day we left. No one spoke much English which made it a little harder, but we got by with a translator app. There are quite a few stairs to go up to get to the hotel which isn't great if you have lots of heavy luggage so I'd recommend packing lightly if possible. Having said that, if you have average fitness, you should be fine getting up and down the stairs, the trek is not too long. The views are definitely worth it! Would stay again for sure.
