A good stay. The front desk staff were very helpful when needed. Hotel is in a great location for exploring the city. The room was a good size, and the welcome gifts were very nice too. It is up a flight of stairs, and then down two flights to breakfast. Breakfast could have been better, not many choices, however the breakfast staff were good. The afternoon tea and snacks, and rooftop patio, were enjoyable, and we went a couple times. Also, having the ethnic costumes to wear for pictures on the roof was also a nice touch. Would recommend.

For this price point, this Hotel is amazing. Don’t go in there and expect luxury. What you get is a good night sleep and that’s it. Room was somewhat cold and AC remote didn’t work, but I didn’t bother asking for batteries. Shower pressure is on the weaker side. You get a big bed, but a tiny table. Shower Gel and Shampoo were present, but no soap, so I did do with Shower Gel. There were some traces of mold, but not really something that chased me out of the door. There were no strong odors and you get 2 free bottles of water.
Wifi had a little of problems as the instructions and the actual PW are not up-to-date. So ask for the Wifi PW at the front desk.
It’s in walking distance to the 2 Rivers and 4 Lakes Scenic Area as well as the Elephant Trunk Hill Scenic Area. And with the electric bikes nearly everywhere, you can reach Reed Flute Cave in 20 minutes.
As I didn’t prepare enough, I didn’t manage to visit the the rice terraces, but they are the least impressive this time of year. So the regret is not to overwhelming.

They were very helpful with everything, and the language barrier was no obstacle at all; the main thing is the desire to understand each other. There’s a free laundry room with detergent available and an inside tourist guide for last minute tourist attractions bookings.
There’s a terrace on the top with lovely river views. The breakfast was extremely varied and very tasty, plus nice proper coffee, you can also request noodles. Staff were amiable.
Overall, a nice stay, and they gave us extra water and some magnets when we left, which was a nice touch.

陽朔望江樓客棧是我們住得最舒服、最方便的一家。客棧的設計佈局超乎我的意料，質感非常在線，源於建築本身的侷限性，她們居然專門安裝了一步行李電梯，方便運送行李。對遊住客和店裡的員工也是非常人性化的，點個贊！陽朔縣城非常小，所以還真沒有必要專門住到景區（因為景區位置不方便、價格偏貴、吃飯大交通都得打車進出，增加開銷），所以住在西街商圈是很明智的決定。
住在望江樓、吃在望江樓（誰懂她們家就是陽朔很火的必吃榜排隊王餐廳呀），住客不用排隊，前台管家直接幫忙預約，吃飯還打9折，聚划算。五一過後計劃帶家人再次出行還住望江樓！

YYifanOutstanding boutique hotel situated in the most beautiful spot by the Yulong River with breathtaking views in all four directions! We like how the style of the hotel reflects and complements the natural beauty of the area. There are abundant amenities and plenty of activities to pursue just around the property. It’s perfect for people who want to enjoy the beautiful pristine Shanshui of Guilin uninterrupted.
We travelled with our extended family of 7 and everybody had a great time (especially our 2yo). The hotel is very kids friendly and the staff are wonderful. The swimming pool is immaculate and well equipped. We were also happily surprised by the quality of the food provided at the hotel. The ingredients were local and super fresh and the beer fish was very tasty. We ended up eating most of our lunches and dinners at the hotel.
The room itself is gorgeous. We woke up everyday bathing in the morning sun with unobstructed views of the breathtaking Shanshui along the Yulong river! If you wake up early and go to the top floor, you will be rewarded with a special bonus!
We are already looking forward to our next trip to Yangshuo and Xishi Jinshe!

PPengguna TetamuEven though we stayed for only one night and our booking did not include breakfast (because we had to leave very early the next morning), the hotel staff treated us extremely well. The receptionist kindly upgraded our room for free and also allowed us to have breakfast at the hotel without any extra charge, which was a very pleasant surprise.
The location is excellent, especially for travelers using the train. The hotel is very close to Guilin Railway Station, and since there is no subway in Guilin, this made our travel much easier and more convenient.
The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The hotel provided all the necessary amenities and accessories we needed. The interior design is modern but cozy, making the stay relaxing even for a short time.
Overall, the service was warm, thoughtful, and beyond expectations. I really appreciated the kindness and flexibility of the staff. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Guilin, especially those who need a convenient location near the railway station.

PPengguna Tanpa NamaLocation isWe stayed 2 nights at Bo Yangshuo Hotel. The location is very convenient, right at the start/end of West Street (西街), making it easy to walk around while still being slightly away from the noise.
We booked a family room with a bunk bed, which was comfortable and suitable for families. Overall, everything was good and well-maintained.
One downside worth highlighting is that the toilet glass partition has been removed, so sounds from flushing, hand washing, and showering are quite loud. The bed head is located just above the toilet area, so it can be disturbing at night. Also, when using the bathtub, be careful as water may splash onto the bed area.
Aside from this issue, our stay was pleasant and the location is a big plus, especially for first-time visitors to Yangshuo.

PPengguna TetamuThe hotel advertises as having an all-year-round open pool and it's not true. During our stay at the end of April with maximum temperatures above 30°C there was no pool to cool off, and the staff told us it was because it was still too early in the year. This was very disappointing as having a pool was the main reason for our choice of hotel, so I'd say this hotel didn't meet our expectations and they should state this clearly on Trip to avoid future confusion of guests. Other things to improve are the storage space in the rooms (there's barely any room to place suitcases etc) and the soundproofing (we were woken up several days by loud guests at 7am or earlier). On the positive side, the beds were comfortable (average hardness of mattress for westerners standards) and the shower was the best we've had in our whole trip through China: very modern, with good water pressure and no fluctuating temperature. The room thermostat worked really well and the hotel has some nice amenities for guests to use such as tea, massage chairs (a bit worn out but still working) and a vintage game console. The staff helped us with luggage, gave us information and even a small present at the end of our stay, which was a nice touch. The location of the hotel is in a quieter part of town, ideal for sleeping but still close enough to streets with lots of restaurants, cafes etc (try Heytea in west street if you can!).
Overall it's been good value for money, although the hotel could do some clean up/refurbishment work and the pool availability should be advertised accurately.

PPengguna Tetamu”Extra-Large Bathtub” doesn't even begin to describe how incredibly large this bathtub was. It was more like a swimming pool. I was in heaven. I loved this hotel, the desk staff don't speak any English but they have these little ai-translation hand held devices (picture a dictaphone that translates) and are extremely helpful with a can-do attitude. I had some urgent documents I needed delivering and the staff were beyond helpful with that, I am very grateful to them. Also upon check-in they bumped me up to a suite (I didn't ask they were just being nice) and holy moly what a room. It was fabulous. The styling of this place is very old colonial palace vibes, I know they have some history displays up relating to the war but I didn't look into it, but it had a very classic airy vibe with traditional furniture and styling and I loved it. Some elements are a bit careworn and showing their age, but everything was immaculately clean. So, yes some elements like the carpeting may have seen better days but it's due to age rather than lack of attention, everything that mattered was sparkling. My shower could have fit about 5 people in there, and the bathtub another 6, so that was a real highlight, but the location was superb as well, it is on a private little resort island right next to the lake where the pagodas and bridges are. There is an easy access exit gate to the lakes, however I think it was run by the other hotel on the island because my key card didn't work late at night, however I must admit I had had a few and maybe wasn't the most able bodied reviewer in that moment. I recommend asking the staff because each night after the lake show with the performance and music lots of families were coming in that back way, so it's definitely possible I was just un-prepared. Regardless, even if you get locked out it's a short walk around to the other side of the island and the gatemen are very friendly. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel although it is not technically run by the hotel which just means it closes slightly earlier (much later than anywhere in Europe still), and when I went in the staff were just sitting around so I wasn't sure if they were open, but when they saw me they sprang into life and actually the older ladies spoke quite a lot of English and were very chatty and friendly, and they also have an iPad with an English ordering app so it is a breeze eating there. The food was very high quality and delicious, it was more expensive than eating in town but I would not say over priced given how good it was. The bar in the hotel is also nice. You can get delivery food brought directly to your room which is also excellent. They don't have room service food but why would you bother when delivery is available. The hotel has a private drive way so getting picked up for excursions or Didi rides is so easy, and the area is beautifully quiet and there are lots of birds. It is very close to all the attractions like Elephant Trunk Hill, which makes doing things (or retreating home due to the fearsome heat) very easy. I will warn you the hotel is nicely airy in the way old villas in Europe are, but because of that your air conditioning will never match that kind of incredible ice cold blast you might be familiar with in Hong Kong. Obviously, this is a very small problem when you can easily cool off in the mega-bath or mega-shower or just sit at a comfortable level of air conditioning, but if you are the kind of foreign traveller who is unaccustomed to the strong heat just be aware that this is a vintage place so you won't be able to whack the AC down to 15c and freeze yourself for relief. I really recommend this hotel, it was absolutely lovely. Oh also there is a lovely jovial old man who comes round in the evening to deliver you milk at bedtime every day, what a guy.

PPengguna TetamuHad an incredible stay here! The views are stunning (probably one of the best out of all the other accommodations nearby), the room was clean and the service was friendly. It's a family owned business and everyone is lovely. If you're taking a bus, it won't drop you all the way to the hotel but if you give the hotel a call, someone can come pick you up from the bus stop. I had a bit of a miscommunication with my previous hotel who arranged a coach for us that dropped us off at a very far away drop off point and someone still came and picked us up from there with no complaints (and did not charge us for it)!! We were also dropped back off at the bus stop on the day we left. No one spoke much English which made it a little harder, but we got by with a translator app. There are quite a few stairs to go up to get to the hotel which isn't great if you have lots of heavy luggage so I'd recommend packing lightly if possible. Having said that, if you have average fitness, you should be fine getting up and down the stairs, the trek is not too long. The views are definitely worth it! Would stay again for sure.
