Hotel berhampiran Dan Empangan Kolam, Chiayi

On the way back from Alishan and stay one night here. Kids love this hotel with free snacks at level 7. There also a toddlers room and boardgames room at B1. Breakfast is delicious come with many local specialties. Beef soup is good. Hotel also has supper offer at TWD 250 per pax. The food is good as well. I like the fish fillet.

My second time to stay here within a year. Chose this because of its convenient location and local breakfast. The hotel occupied a few floors, with its reception at 11th floor; it has its own dining hall where simple but delicious breakfast is served. We were upgraded to a room with 1 double bed and two single beds. And there is a water dispenser near the lift at every floor, so we don't need to boil water for hot drinks at all. Thanks to the friendly and helpful staff too during our stay.

Thanks to Maison De Chine, Chiayi, for an excellent four-night stay. The service was impeccable from the moment we arrived, with thoughtful touches like complimentary snacks, drinks, wine in the afternoons, and even warm porridge in the evening. Our room was clean, spacious, and felt brand new—highly recommended for anyone visiting Chiayi. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Positives - Nice, clean rooms that still look pretty new - good sound insulation (outside the window, and outside the room) - nice small touches for Christmas (small card and goodie bag waiting in the room, complimentary piano and flute performance coupled with milk tea and mulled wine) Negatives - breakfast variety limited (almost the same food for both days. We stayed 2 nights at Chiayi Hotel. The receptionist was helpful when we arrived at night. The parking space for cars is two blocks away and we had to walk for a while but that’s wasn’t a big deal. The hotel is about 800m to the train station or 15 mins by walking. The breakfast was okay. We opted for vegetarian meals. All in all, we would love to stay here again if we ever come back to Chiayi

Staff were very helpful, rooms are standard business rooms with everything you need. Place is clean, but there were no boiled eggs for breakfast. Very good location near the station and guangcai street is very long with lots of non tourist shops

The receptionist was so nice when trying to communicate with us in english (even though his english was not that efficient), especially when I want to borrow the adapter in place. The room was clean, neat, we had a breakfast coupon in nearby Yonghe Soy milk and it was good tho!! Thanks for having us and we will come back some days!!

Hotel is located a little far from everything and walk about 15mins to railway station and 10 mins to free hsr shuttle bus stop. Around the hotel, there's multiple nice food too. Room is ok, decently big but signs of old wear and tear. Breakfast is good sumptuous value spread.

This was an incredible hotel. The owner’s commitment to his vision is outstanding. The hotel doesn’t exactly feel like Thailand, but rather the hotel owner’s imagination of Thailand fused with the set for a Broadway musical. The rooftop bar is also great and reasonably priced. The only real downsides are that the smell of plastic flowers in the hallways is sometimes overwhelming, and the fact that the bathroom is separated from the room by only a curtain. But overall, I 1000% recommend staying here — it made our experience in Chiayi.
