We had such an amazing experience at this Disney hotel, and I truly feel like this property deserves every bit of praise. My husband, our 6 kids, and I traveled all the way from Orlando, Florida in America, and after such a big trip, staying somewhere this welcoming, clean, and well-run meant so much to us. From the moment we arrived, the staff made such a strong impression on me. Every single person we interacted with was incredibly kind, welcoming, patient, and genuinely helpful. It did not feel fake or forced at all, it felt like they truly cared about making sure our stay was comfortable and special. One thing I really want to mention is that even with us traveling from America, the language barrier was honestly not hard at all when dealing with the staff. That was something I truly appreciated. Everyone was so kind, so patient, and so willing to help that communication never felt stressful. They made everything feel easy and comfortable, and that meant a lot, especially traveling with a big family and small children. No matter what we needed, they did their best to help us understand and made sure we felt taken care of. That level of effort, patience, and kindness goes a very long way, and they really made us feel welcome. The staff went above and beyond in so many little ways, and those things really added up. Any time I had a question, needed help, or wasn’t sure about something, someone was there with a smile, ready to help without hesitation. That kind of service stands out, especially when you are traveling with family, and it made such a huge difference for us. They were not just “nice” .They were the kind of staff that makes you stop and think, wow, these people really care. You can feel when people are just doing a job, and you can also feel when people are truly making an effort to give guests a great experience. This staff absolutely did that. Now let me talk about the cleanliness, because honestly this is one of the cleanest hotel properties and rooms I have ever seen in my life. I do not say that lightly. The moment we walked in, everything looked absolutely spotless. Not just tidy, not just “good enough,” but truly immaculate. The room looked fresh, polished, and cared for in a way that is hard to explain unless you see it for yourself. Every surface looked pristine. The floors were clean, the bathroom was shining, the bedding felt fresh and perfectly maintained, and the entire room gave that rare feeling of being deeply, properly cleaned. There was not that uneasy hotel feeling some places have where you start wondering what has or has not really been cleaned. This place felt the complete opposite. It felt sanitized, refreshed, and cared for to the highest standard. The room was so clean that it immediately made us feel comfortable enough to fully relax. When you are staying with children, cleanliness matters even more, and this hotel absolutely exceeded expectations. I noticed the details, and the details matter. The bathroom was spotless, the beds looked crisp and fresh, the furniture was clean, the floors looked amazing, and the whole room felt like it had been cleaned with real care and pride. Even beyond the room itself, the entire property was unbelievably clean. That is what impressed me so much. Usually a hotel might have a nice room, but the hallways, common areas, elevators, or grounds do not always match that same level of care. Here, the cleanliness was consistent everywhere. The entire property was beautifully maintained, and you could clearly tell that cleanliness is taken seriously at every level. Everything looked so well-kept, so polished, and so intentionally maintained that it honestly made the whole stay feel even more luxurious and relaxing. It is such a good feeling to be able to fully settle in and enjoy your stay without noticing dirt, neglect, or things being overlooked. This hotel gave us that peace of mind completely. Booked an executive suite for three nights and it lived up to the Bellagio name — spacious, elegantly finished, with the kind of detailing you’d expect at this level. The separate living area made it feel more like an apartment than a room, and executive lounge access was a nice perk for breakfast and evening drinks. Service was polished and responsive. Overall a refined, comfortable stay I’d happily repeat

The hotel is beautiful, situated right on the bund. The breakfast is good and the beds are comfortable. My family and I were travelling through China for 4 weeks, and I booked this place for 4 nights, we usually like to stay in places where we can do laundry, here we had to use an outsourced business to get our laundry done as there are no laundry facilities close by and it would have cost us $500 aud to get our laundry done through the hotel. Just something to be mindful of if you are travelling with a family. However in saying that, the process of outsourcing was only made possible because of the assistance given by the hotel. I’m glad we booked it, the experience overall was great.

Hotel is 2 minutes walk away from the Shanghai railway station (you can literally see the station). Another a 5-7 minutes walk can take you to the 1, 12, and 13 metro line. A mall around the area, a line of shops near the neighborhood, downstairs is a convenient store, easy to find hotel, you can’t miss it. Pool is under construction during our stay but they have other amenities like a very small gym, free laundry (washer + dryer), spa, and handful of rooms for board games mainly featuring Mahjong, if you’re a fan you will love it. These amenities is downstairs in the basement which you have to exit the building and take a separate entrance for. I want to note that I did see a water bug in the living checking area and in the amenities room. That is something they can def fix. Otherwise really good location if you plan to use the railway station or don’t want to stay at the city center. Bathroom is separated into wet and dry. It have an option for overhead shower, fantastic water pressure. Door is not transparent, but it does not have a lock. Toilet have a bidet but I want to note that our toilet did have a faint but noticeable smell of urine, I’m not sure if it’s because the staff did not clean it well or its something else. There are no dirty spots and it’s visually clean. Overall for the price of the hotel it’s SO spacious, clean and just so worth it.

I found the instructions to check in to be very wierd, I reached out and I kept getting responses like ‘it’s already sent to you, it’s already included, I’ll put you on a group chat’ also the instructions with pictures for access were in Chinese, so since instructions ‘were already given’ we used ChatGPT to translate. The house was great, it was spacious, and the location was quiet. However, the kitchen was dirty, gross and smelt so bad and had just a couple of cups and plates, compared to the rest of the house which was spotless and super clean. And the roof had such a beautiful view but my kid was playing and I noticed she had used toothpicks in her hands from the plant pots. Aside from the kitchen and my kid finding used tooth floss, it was a very nice house, clean and spacious

The place is quite nice and homey. There’s a lot of cookwares and kitchen utensils, also smart projector for entertainment. The place is easy to find, even though we need to walk a quiet distance from the nearest station. Still reachable though. There’s also many stores, cafes, and restaurants nearby. The hosts are very helpful and professional. I would recommend to stay here bcs it offers excellent value for money…
