It’s a landed property with 3 floors. No lift, so either leave your heavy luggage downstairs or carry up on your own. Smaller public space and kitchen but good enough to stay around. The hostel is well managed with fans to air and dry out the space. 4 toilets and 3 showers for 4 bedrooms (around 28 beds I think). But if not all using the shower room or toilet at the same time. It’s just nice. Would be good if there’s 1 or 2 more hangers in the shower and toilet. The room is clean and bed is comfortable. Breakfast is included with simple white toast, one egg each and jam. Although location is 20 mins bus to downtown, it’s close to train station to travel to other small town and convenient stop for 台湾好行. I had no issue as vegetarian as there are eateries around within 5-30 mins walking distance and convenient stores at station. Receptionists are friendly and helpful. There are travel information available for last minute planning. Free bike renting starts from 10am. There’s postal service too.

Due to some traffic reasons, we reached there pretty late around 930pm. The owner called us to check if we need any help, and patiently waited until we reach there, explain the house and rules. Really cozy and quiet environments, the facilities are absurd! 1000% worth the price. My floor is the lowest one, and it’s super clean. Highly recommended. Only cons is that you’d have to walk a little bit from the train station here (or you can just grab a cab for just little bit money though).

Pros: breakfast and available coin operated laundry on site. Cons: hard bed, 2in1 bath and shampoo, humid room It wasn’t a king size bed that I booked, rather two beds put together. I feel lied to :(

Chaikuo Waterfront was a wonderful place to stay on Green Island. The hotel has a peaceful, relaxed atmosphere and a beautiful location close to the sea, making it feel like a perfect island escape. It was a lovely base for exploring Green Island while still having a quiet and comfortable place to return to afterward. The surroundings were especially memorable. Being near the waterfront made the stay feel very atmospheric, with fresh sea air, ocean views, and the calm rhythm of island life all around. The place felt clean, welcoming, and thoughtfully arranged, with a simple charm that matched Green Island perfectly. I would definitely recommend Chaikuo Waterfront to travelers who want accommodation that feels intimate, scenic, and connected to the natural beauty of the island. It is a great choice for couples, friends, or anyone looking for a peaceful stay by the sea.

An Exceptional Stay Beyond Expectations! Waking up in the morning to a breath of fresh air, with sunlight gently illuminating the vast green fields and the soothing sounds of birds chirping—it’s an instant moment of relaxation. The guesthouse is impeccably maintained, offering a peaceful and nature-filled retreat, truly a hidden paradise for relaxation. The highlight of the stay was the coffee machine provided by the guesthouse—offering Starbucks-quality finely ground coffee with an irresistible aroma. Enjoying a freshly brewed cup while gazing at the beautiful scenery outside made every moment of the trip feel worthwhile. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with thoughtful details that showed great hospitality. If you’re looking for a place to escape the hustle and bustle and immerse yourself in nature, this is undoubtedly the best place to stay in Taitung. 這次入住 娜路彎大酒店 的整體體驗相當滿意，飯店環境寬敞舒適，一進大廳就能感受到濃厚的度假氛圍，服務人員態度親切且專業，辦理入住流程快速，讓人感覺非常貼心。 房間整潔度很好，床鋪舒適，隔音效果也不錯，晚上能夠好好放鬆休息。最令人喜歡的是飯店附設的休閒設施與泳池，環境維護得很乾淨，無論大人或小孩都能玩得開心。早餐種類豐富，結合不少在地特色餐點，口味也相當不錯。 整體來說，不論是家庭旅遊、朋友出遊或放鬆度假都很適合，住宿品質與服務都有一定水準，下次到台東旅遊時，還會想再次入住。

I recently had the opportunity to stay at ”It's Mine Hostel” in Taidong, and overall, I found it to be an okay accommodation option. Here are my thoughts on various aspects of the hostel: Atmosphere and Policies Upon arrival, one of the notable aspects of the hostel was the requirement to remove shoes before entering. Although this might inconvenience some guests, it does contribute to maintaining cleanliness throughout the premises. The hostel has a modest, laid-back atmosphere, which can be suitable for travelers seeking a relaxed environment. Room Unfortunately, I found the room to be a bit claustrophobic. The limited space made it challenging to move around comfortably. However, considering the price, it was within the acceptable range. The room was clean and tidy, which was a positive point. Service One aspect that could be improved is the level of service provided. The staff offered minimal assistance during my stay, which led to a lack of personal touch. Despite this, it's worth noting that the basic amenities and necessities were provided. Pricing Considering the reasonable price offered by ”It's Mine Hostel,” it is essential to manage expectations accordingly. While some aspects may not be perfect, the affordability of the accommodation must be taken into account when evaluating the overall value. In conclusion, ”It's Mine Hostel” in Taidong is an okay option for travelers on a budget. It is worth noting that the hostel has a relaxed atmosphere. it provides basic amenities and cleanliness. If you're willing to overlook some limitations, ”It's Mine Hostel” can be a decent choice for your stay in Taidong. I hope this review helps!

For a solo traveller coming back from Jiaming Lake Hike - this place is pretty awesome. What’s not to like. A clean bed space, drinking water, shower, washer & dryer. You also get free cycles - they may not be pretty but hey they get the job done!

Nice hotel as per description, very clean and well located within less than 10min on foot from the train station.

I had booked a room in the “hostel” section, but it’s actually more of a hotel pretending to also be a hostel. The cleanliness in the room left much to be desired (from what i could see the window sill is clearly never cleaned, hair on the clean sheets, etc.). On top of that, the lockers are fake in the sense that they don’t lock, so they’re basically just cupboards that anyone can open. As for the bathroom, some of the shower doors are broken and were literally left abandoned inside the shower. What was my surprise to see that there were cockroaches ?? The next day, I came back to the room to take a shower and there was no electricity in the bathroom anymore. I asked for compensation because the price I paid was completely disproportionate to the state of the facilities. The receptionist was friendly and offered to move me to a private room (in the hotel section), but the problems continued: when I opened the bathroom door, I once again found cockroaches. Moreover, the humidity doesn’t seem to evacuate properly, and there’s a nauseating smell inside. The lock on the door leading from the room to the hallway doesn’t work. The finishing of the construction work is terrible, nothing is right. In short, my advice is : do not come to this hotel.
