Hotel berhampiran Arena Nuremberg, Nuremberg

Melter was the best place I stayed in throughout my Germany trip. It was in the centre of the old town, right above the Lorenzkirche U-bahn, 3-5 mins walk from the Hauptbahnof, and only steps away from everything you might need - bars, restaurants, shops, supermarkets, and all the highlights. It's a 10-15 min slightly uphill but beautiful walk to the Castle. The property was extremely beautiful, spotlessly clean, and stylish. Was given an upgrade by Jacqueline (or Jackie) to a studio with a kitchenette overlooking a quaint street; good for cooking. Spacious room, comfortable bed, and beautiful bathroom with nice soaps. Only complaint could be that some rooms (216-219) are not accessible by lift, and require a winding (confusing at first) walk through long corridors to reach, but it was OK for me. Laundry room also had detergent provided; gym was adequate. Did not have breakfast, but had lunch twice at Monki downstairs - impeccable ramen. Overall, this would be a great choice when in Nuremberg. Affordable, beautiful, comfortable, and convenient; and lovely staff - everyone of them took great care of me. Even granted late checkout. Will highly recommend this place.

Location and amenities are nice but front office staff is in a weird state. The first guy who checked us in looked rather disheveled. You could literally look through the shirt that was also messy to begin with. One guy during night shift seemed cold towards guests and was not inclined to be helpful while the two ladies during early shift put their priority on looking at TikToks and whatnot right infront of guests. Being casual is one thing but making guests feel like an afterthought might be pushing it. If there is a front office manager they might want to rethink how things are handled. Cleaning staff and breakfast staff were professional and welcoming.

This is our favourite hotel in Nuremberg!! Attention to detail on every step of the experience, their crews were simply amazing! They are happy to serve you, not one person but every staff that I encountered. I got a surprise birthday cake in my room with a hand written note, am truly grateful and heartfelt. So thank you, Karl August your neighbourhood hotel. 5 stars and beyond. We will be back again for sure!

The reason I chose this hostel is its affordable price (8 beds femare room - in one big room), located close to Nürnberg Hbf (only 1 stop using U-Bahn), and the bunk bed has a curtain (the most important thing, since it gives you privacy). The shared bathroom is clean and has two showers and two toilets. This hostel also (surprisingly) has a well equipped kitchen with microwave and refrigerator. You can cook by yourself and eat your food in its nice kitchen (there are some chairs and tables with sockets). I will definitely stay in this hostel again if I come to Nürnberg.

Located near (just next to the exit) to Operahaus station which is 1 stop away from the Hbf. For the price paid esp during exhibition days, it is as their name is, bed and breakfast, very functional stay so don't expect much

Good location, inly few minutes walk to the subway station. Many kind of foods in breakfast.staff are all very kind, and quick response to the inquiries. Definitely will stay here when I visit the city again.

The hotel is very easy fitted with self check-in stations and a vending machine with all the necessities. The rooms are nice and cosy. Down the street to the left it is a business district and bus station, so a lot of people and packages everywhere, but to the right is an amazing bakery with delicious breads. The hotel is only a few 100m away from the old town with quite a few restaurants and shops along the way. In the old town almost on every corner is a different musician which really adds to the beauty of this city. Was a great stay!

I was sort of worried after reading the review about this place, but I guess according to the type room, the comments of people can change. I arrived little earlier than 4 pm. At lobby you have free wifi where you can register yourself through your phone. There are some other people were waiting too. Around 16:05 other people's received their room number but mine wasn't arriving. I waited another half hour but still nothing. I had to call them and they fixed the situation for me. My room was at second floor, had a double bed , good space, great internet. Kitchen supplies were ok. Couple of small things they can change or fix to make that place much much better. I don't know what do you call but day time curtains ( I guess) wasn't there for the big window. You have people on other building who can see you. But if you put the night curtains in day time then you got no sun lights coming in. Small window didn't have any curtains which is not suitable for people who are sensitive sleeper. Ventilator inside the bathroom was way too noisy but if you close the door, you don't hear anything. Overall it was better than I expected.

Практически весь персонал может разговаривать на русском языке. Нас быстро заселили, была ошибка с номером, быстро исправили, персонал очень дружелюбный и приятный. Состояния номера не самое лучшее, мы находили пыль на поверхности, в душевой кабинке была треснута магнитная лента на двери, но в целом, всё работало, постельное чистое, полотенце чистое, средства гигиены приятные. Маленький чайник, кофе, чай, сахар, сливки, чашки всё было включено.

Hotel is rather far from train station especially with few luggages. Room size was decent but lack of amenities. There was no safe in room, no phone to contact the reception, no fridge, no toiletries. There was no housekeeping by default, but only on request. Room cards not working frequently during our 3 nights stay there, and we had to go to the counter to ask for help. One of the male receptionist was rudely insulted me for not understanding English when I was trying to ask his help as the card was unable to open the room door. The other 2 female receptionists were very friendly otherwise. I was only told by the female receptionist on my last day there that the room cards often get de-activated if they are placed near phone or credit cards. It was very tiring to keep walking up and down the rooms just to get the cards activated everyday.
