HH MatthiasMelter was the best place I stayed in throughout my Germany trip. It was in the centre of the old town, right above the Lorenzkirche U-bahn, 3-5 mins walk from the Hauptbahnof, and only steps away from everything you might need - bars, restaurants, shops, supermarkets, and all the highlights. It's a 10-15 min slightly uphill but beautiful walk to the Castle.
The property was extremely beautiful, spotlessly clean, and stylish. Was given an upgrade by Jacqueline (or Jackie) to a studio with a kitchenette overlooking a quaint street; good for cooking. Spacious room, comfortable bed, and beautiful bathroom with nice soaps. Only complaint could be that some rooms (216-219) are not accessible by lift, and require a winding (confusing at first) walk through long corridors to reach, but it was OK for me. Laundry room also had detergent provided; gym was adequate. Did not have breakfast, but had lunch twice at Monki downstairs - impeccable ramen.
Overall, this would be a great choice when in Nuremberg. Affordable, beautiful, comfortable, and convenient; and lovely staff - everyone of them took great care of me. Even granted late checkout. Will highly recommend this place.

RRWidyastutiThe reason I chose this hostel is its affordable price (8 beds femare room - in one big room), located close to Nürnberg Hbf (only 1 stop using U-Bahn), and the bunk bed has a curtain (the most important thing, since it gives you privacy). The shared bathroom is clean and has two showers and two toilets. This hostel also (surprisingly) has a well equipped kitchen with microwave and refrigerator. You can cook by yourself and eat your food in its nice kitchen (there are some chairs and tables with sockets). I will definitely stay in this hostel again if I come to Nürnberg.

JJeon Soo NeoLocation and amenities are nice but front office staff is in a weird state.
The first guy who checked us in looked rather disheveled. You could literally look through the shirt that was also messy to begin with. One guy during night shift seemed cold towards guests and was not inclined to be helpful while the two ladies during early shift put their priority on looking at TikToks and whatnot right infront of guests.
Being casual is one thing but making guests feel like an afterthought might be pushing it. If there is a front office manager they might want to rethink how things are handled.
Cleaning staff and breakfast staff were professional and welcoming.

AAdventure TravellerThis is our favourite hotel in Nuremberg!! Attention to detail on every step of the experience, their crews were simply amazing! They are happy to serve you, not one person but every staff that I encountered. I got a surprise birthday cake in my room with a hand written note, am truly grateful and heartfelt. So thank you, Karl August your neighbourhood hotel. 5 stars and beyond. We will be back again for sure!

Room and hotel is clean. Location is very close to uBahn as well. Just across the street is a supermakret and bakery. Very convient as well.
However, I dont understand the amenities provided for guest. Kettle to boil hot water - pay 20 euro deposit. (Warm tap water is provided, though not hot enough for tea). Requested for a cup to drink water - pay deposit. Toothbrush - available for purchase. Tooth paste - available for purchase. Tea packets - not available. Microwave is provided, however basic utentils such as fork or spoon require you to pay a deposit. Doesnt make sense for business traveller.
There is also no laundry service nor Iron + ironboard available.
If you're travelling for leisure, I'll definitely reconmend you to go for it. 5 out of 5.
For business, probably not.

For the price paid esp during exhibition days, it is as their name is, bed and breakfast, very functional stay so don't expect much

__adjan101The hotel is very easy fitted with self check-in stations and a vending machine with all the necessities.
The rooms are nice and cosy. Down the street to the left it is a business district and bus station, so a lot of people and packages everywhere, but to the right is an amazing bakery with delicious breads.
The hotel is only a few 100m away from the old town with quite a few restaurants and shops along the way. In the old town almost on every corner is a different musician which really adds to the beauty of this city.

PPengguna Tetamuthe biggest problem of this hotel is there is no front desk service. If you are foreign travelling without a German mobile, it will cost you a fortune for you to call the front desk. Also the lady behind the phone, I think, is a Russian. Unless you are a English speaker, it will be quite difficult for you to understand her. Also the wifi availability in each room depends on whereabout your room is. Other than that, there is really nothing to complain about.

PPengguna TetamuThe location is within 5min walk from hbf metro station and to the tourist area. Room facilities are so far so good but the beds for 4 persons are pretty comfortable. Lobby atmosphere is good chilling.

LLotuxThe staffs there are very helpful. Superb location for Christmas market there. However, we tried to reserve a parking slot there but turns out fully parked in the hotel parking, we need to drive to city center carpark for 2 overnight parking, Price are very reasonable there tho, €24 for almost 70 hours.
