My stay at the Crowne Plaza Hamburg - City Alster was absolutely superb. From the moment I arrived, the elegant and professional atmosphere was noticeable. The room was spacious and beautifully appointed, with a incredibly comfortable bed and a fantastic view. The location is also ideal for both enjoying the beautiful Alster lake and accessing the city center. It’s the attentive service and premium amenities that set this hotel apart. I felt thoroughly pampered and would not hesitate to return for another luxurious stay.

Das Hotel liegt optimal zum Theater am Großmarkt und ist mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln gut erreichbar. Das Frühstücksbufett ist reichhaltig. Sehr angenehm ist, dass man sich heiße Getränke auch schon vor dem Check - in nehmen kann.

Great stay — second time and still amazing I had another wonderful stay at the Hampton by Hilton in Hamburg — this was actually my second time here. The first time I stayed with my mother, and this time with my fiancée, and both experiences have been consistently great. The service is excellent. The staff are always smiling, very kind, and extremely polite, which really makes you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Everything about the hotel feels lovely and well taken care of. The gym is nice and well-equipped, perfect if you want to keep up your routine while traveling. Breakfast is amazing — plenty of options and everything fresh and tasty, definitely one of the highlights of the stay. The location is also fantastic. It’s close to public transport (there’s a tram stop nearby), making it easy to get around the city. There’s also a great falafel/döner spot close by if you’re looking for a late-night snack, which was a fun bonus. Plus, it’s very close to Westfield, where you can enjoy the scenery and find lots of nice restaurants and shops. Overall, an amazing stay once again. Thank you to the whole team — I’ll definitely be back.

Wir waren als Paar dort da wir ein Konzert gebucht haben, die Nähe zur Barclays Arena und zum Stadion ist fußläufig gut zu erreichen, daher ist das Hotel für solche Events sehr zu empfehlen. Das Hotel verfügt über 6 Etagen, wir hatten ein Business Zimmer , das Zimmer war jetzt nicht sonderlich groß, einfach ausgestattet ohne viel Schnickschnack oder Dekoration , für einen Kurztrip aber absolut in Ordnung. Die Betten sind sehr bequem, TV war auch recht groß, Badezimmer mit großer Dusche. Steckdosen sind bereits USB Anschluss ausgestattet. Der Service an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich, Check in schnell und unkompliziert auch per Self Check in möglich. Frühstück kann ich nicht beurteilen, hatten wir nicht gebucht aber der Kaffee war sehr lecker. Parkplätze sind begrenzt vorhanden aber wenn man Glück hat kann man auch an der Straße auf dem Seitenstreifen parken. Ich würde dieses Hotel wieder buchen.

first of all, the man at the reception did not check that we had already paid for the room. He presented a bill that needs to be paid now. I said several times that we have already paid for the number and showed a copy of the bill. He denied it, but he did a better search and found that we are already paid. He just said it was the software's fault, not his. I have been flying to Hamburg for almost 3 years and staying for a few days and booking a hotel. I have never had such a misunderstanding in other districts of Hamburg. Upon entering the room, everything was clean, but the bedding had an unpleasant smell..

To the gentlemen reading this, you don't have much choice, but to any ladies out there—I strongly, strongly recommend booking a female-only room. I cannot stress this enough: please choose a female-only room. Overall, the hostel itself is fantastic. The facilities are decent, the location is unbeatable, and you really can't beat the price. The staff members were super friendly, and the place felt clean. Although this was my first hostel in Germany, I’ve stayed at many hostels around the world, and value-for-money wise, this place is top-notch. The only issue comes down to some of the other guests. When I checked into my first room, I was hit with a terrible odor as soon as I opened the door, and someone was snoring loudly. I asked to switch rooms right away, and the staff were kind enough to accommodate me. Unfortunately, even in the second room, there was another guest with severe body odor who snored heavily all day long. Because of this, I couldn't relax or get a good night's sleep. I really don't want it to sound offensive to someone..but my overall experience dropped significantly just because of this single reason. Maybe I was just unlucky, but those guests seemed to be long-term residents. So again, ladies, even if it costs a bit more, please do yourself a favor and book a female-only room.

Отель находится рядом озером. Есть где прогуляться заняться пробежкой. Вечером на озере с отличным видом можно поужинать. Сам отель удивил спокойным чистым но ером в дополнительно зданни с балконом во внутренний двор, но в номере нет ни холодильника ни столовых принадлежностей. Есть халаты и тапочки. В общем можно рекомендовать если район устраивает (15 минут пешком до главного ЖД вокзала).

Best thing was location. Right across the Hamburg Central Station and less than 2 mins of walk. Close to lot of restaurants, super markets, bus stops, airport train etc. The hotel itself was decent enough and cheap for the days I booked. They had a simple breakfast spread which was still nice for the total cost included in the room. It looks a bit old from interiors but maintained well in terms of cleanliness. If you are looking for a hotel for close accessibility, you can consider this.

Very near to central train station (walkable), check in from 15:00 but you can store your luggage in the meantime, ask the key from reception and go tour the city. Guest can cook, have kitchen with utensils. Every room have 3 bunk beds , have personal toilet in room with shower and hair dryer. Overall it was excellent stay for budget traveller

Die Heizung im Zimmer funktionierte nicht und das Wasser in der Morgendusche war kalt!
