PPengguna TetamuI can not say enough good things about The Apple House. We came to York on our honeymoon. The loft was spacious, there were snacks waiting and a kettle in the room. The bed was comfy. But the true magic is the owners. It’s rare to be treated that well by a hotel. Not only do you get a full cooked breakfast, it’s made to order. It’s served in a lovely room. You get to select the time you’d like to eat from 4 seatings.
Danielle went out of her way to help us find our way around York as it was our first visit. But where they went above and beyond was, I am disabled, her husband took our bags up to our room on the top floor while she was helping us figure out where we wanted to go in the city. And then the next day when we asked her how we got to the train station, she literally picked up my bags and walked my husband and I to the train. It was the kindest thing a hotel owner has ever done for us. We will return to York someday and I wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

LLauren MintoWe had the most gorgeous stay at No.1 Guest House - if there wasn’t so much to see and do in York we would have happily just stayed in and enjoyed the hotel all weekend. The staff were amazing, especially Ellie, who made us feel so welcome and couldn’t do enough for us. We loved just sitting in the bar area with a cocktail (the rosy margarita was amazing) and looking at all the art and the cute steam train. The hotel is sooo cosy and perfect for this time of year. We will definitely be back!

PPengguna TetamuPerfect location for a sightseeing trip to York, with car parking. The hotel was gorgeous, beautiful room (we had blenheim suite), huge copper bath in the bedroom (bring your own bubble bath!), super comfy bed, beautifully decorated room. Reception staff lovely and very knowledgeable of local area. Lovely bar too with friendly staff, a range of boardgames available which was fun. Breakfast room had a great Churchill theme ( brilliant top/bowler hat lighting). Would definitely recommend. Thank you for a really lovely stay.

PPengguna TetamuWe booked a standard double as we only wanted somewhere to have dinner and lay our heads to break 2 long journeys. We were prepared for a 'tired' looking room and it was, in fact just that. HOWEVER, both the room and bathroom were spotless; the bed absolutely huge with nice linens and the shower in the morning was spot on for temperature. Service from beginning to end was fantastic and, though I didn't have it myself, my husband said the breakfast was excellent. We travel both locally and internationally a lot and i rarely comment as many 4-5* hotels just go through the motions however, I wanted to give this hotel and team a well deserved shout out. We shall certainly be back and recommend to anyone looking for a very good place to stay on the outskirts of York.

酒店之中有兩家餐廳食物不錯，但價格非常高，且份量不多，是典型的fine dining，若然大家不想花費太多在食方面，在進入酒店前，最好在城區先進餐。

PPengguna TetamuI've stayed at this hotel before and I will definitely be staying again. The location is ideal for me with easy access to the city centre either by walking, bus, or taxi. The rooms have always been very clean and a good size too. The buffet style breakfast is always superb and leisure facilities give you a chance to unwind in the pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room.
The staff have always been pleasant, friendly, and polite.
5 stars from me!

YYezi一棟小別墅，房間整潔乾淨，很温馨安靜，服務很好很熱情，我們住3樓，沒有電梯，行李箱都是店家幫拿上房間的，停車也算方便。周住環境不錯，出行也方便，沿河邊步行20分鐘邊觀景過走很快就到達鬧市區的旅遊景點，唯有早餐很貴。一天兩晚還算是愜意的體驗吧。

PPengguna TetamuHotel is situated right opposite Clifton tower and is conveniently located within. The city centre - walking distance to the Shambles and other attractions. The parking situation is problematic - although aware it is first come first served, there is nowhere available to park up and ask except the three spaces in front of the hotel and if taken, you end up circling the road for an absolutely age before a space becomes available. If no parking on site end up parking over the road on public car park which is inconvenient as keep having to work out when to renew. The cleanliness is a slight issue, we thought there was dust on surfaces but more likely to be cloth fibres from the cleaners but still don't expect shedding like this. Room was fine but did think bathroom was on the smaller side for a double deluxe room. Service in general was good - couldn't really fault.

LLow Siong Lye 27052025I had a comfortable stay at the Holiday Inn York. The hotel is conveniently located about a 10-minute ride from the train station using bus 840 or 843, which made getting there fairly easy. The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable, providing a relaxing place to unwind after a day of exploring.
The only drawback is the distance to the Hop On Hop Off bus pick-up point. We either had to take another bus or walk about 20 minutes to reach the nearest stop, which wasn’t always ideal.
Overall, the hotel offers good comfort and cleanliness, but travelers relying on sightseeing buses should plan for a bit of extra travel time.
