Hotel berhampiran Taman Kelvingrove, Glasgow

Hotel ini sangat sempurna, daripada kakitangan penerimaan tetamu yang ramah semasa ketibaan hinggalah sarapan pagi keesokan paginya. Biliknya bersih, tidak baharu dan berkilauan, tetapi dihias dengan penuh cita rasa dengan peralatan, kelengkapan dan perabot yang berkualiti dan terjaga rapi. Semua keperluan asas, katil, pancuran mandian, tandas dan besen berfungsi dan berfungsi dengan cemerlang. Cadar, sarung, cadar dan bantal bersih, segar, dan tilamnya sangat selesa. Luas ruang gantung, seterika dan papan, pengering rambut dan peti sejuk. Bersih sempurna. Perkhidmatan untuk sarapan pagi sangat cekap untuk sebuah hotel besar. Mereka tahu betul bagaimana untuk menangani perkhidmatan sarapan pagi yang sibuk. Bufet untuk minuman dan makanan sejuk, perkhidmatan untuk yang dimasak. Sarapan pagi Scotland yang lengkap membuatkan saya bersemangat sepanjang hari. Pasti akan kembali ke hotel ini.

The room is nice, clean and cozy. Good for solo traveler cuz I’m afraid of staying in massive room just by myself. Breakfast is alright continental breakfast you can expect. Gym you cannot expect too much. But being able to watch live football in the lobby is a vibe during World Cup period.

Friendly waiter/bar staff in Steven. Beer - very good. Ambience very good. Ate out for dinner. Heating in room very erratic, only works when cars in. So room cold on return. Disabled room, bathroom door opens right out into room and moves fast with no stopper, middle of the night I head butted door on opening it as it swung away. No lasting damage done but a bit dangerous. Partner said bathroom freezing during night. Breakfast bang average - no traditional Scottish tattie scones, no scrambled egg and fried eggs are white of an uncooked type. Despite asking twice for a flipped fried egg - same white silicone esque rubber circle. Defo not edible. Waiter rude to my partner when asked about replacement. Clearly no frying facilities being used. The milk of which I had a glass of was the wateriest milk and most unpleasant taste - was it Uht? Or powdered with water added? Baked beans and sausages very tasty. No HP or Heinz sauces. Some of bread poor quality. Coffee from a work style urn. Not very modern. Parking overpriced and car which had been washed prior to arriving was filthy on departure with a brown layer of dirt on it. I note that website chooses to mention under Historic Sites: Hampden Park and Celtic Park: 4.0mi | 14 min drive Funny that Ibrox Stadium - with the iconic Main Stand which is closer than the above is not given a mention. Bigotry alive in well in the hotel establishment management. Won’t be returning or recommending.

Great location, super close to city centre and very convenient. Staff members are always helpful and super friendly. On my final night there was a storm in Scotland and staff was super helpful with trying to see if they can book me for one extra night just in case if trains don’t run the next day :) really happy with the service. Breakfast has good selection! Room is okay, the AC seemed a bit old and broken but still works, temperature in the room is fine!

Hampton by Hilton, Glasgow Central is located on West Campbell Street and this truly is right in the heart of the city centre! Located just around the corner from the bustling shopping street of Sauchiehall Street, you’ve got everything you need at your disposal within walking distance of this hotel! Even Glasgow’s Central station is just a short 10 minute walk away - ideal if you’re coming in from another such as Liverpool like I was! A double room in this hotel is a fair size. To maximise on the space, Hampton by Hilton have removed wardrobes and cupboards and have replaced them with walk-in spaces. It works - the L shaped room can feel a little cosy at first, but once you’ve passed through the corridor, the main area where the bed and TV is feels quite spacious. The breakfast provided - which is free for all guests - is to a great standard. Make sure you try out the fresh waffles which come as standard in Hampton by Hilton hotels. The breakfast area isn’t huge though, so if you come around 8.30/9am, space might be limited! There’s also a fitness suite in the hotel which has a good range of equipment available. No windows in there though! Some areas for improvement - the room could do with a bit of refurbishment as the furniture is looking quite tired in parts and there are a lot of scratches and dirty marks on the walls. The room is very functional rather than a luxurious stay. Having said that, Hampton by Hilton is not marketing itself as a luxury brand. It’s firmly in the budget hotel bracket, probably at a similar standard to Premier Inn - which certainly isn’t a bad thing! Another thing to note - if you stay here during the weekend, it could be noisy. There are three nightclubs right near the hotel and on a Saturday night, the noise didn’t stop until 2.30am and this meant we didn’t get much sleep one night. However, the staff were very helpful when we flagged it with them the next morning and gave a credit for a free night’s stay at any Hampton by Hilton! All in all, this hotel is a good base to stay whilst exploring Glasgow. It’s functional, it does the job and you’re going to be well fed during breakfast. True, there are areas for improvement, but this shouldn’t impact your overall experience too much!

Service was quick and good. Room service good. Left my own house keys when I checked out and staff on phone were very helpful in locating them and holding them for collection. Will use again

We stayed during Christmas season and there was a Xmas market next door. The hotel is spacious and all the necessary facilities, including kitchen and washing machine are provided.

As I'd asked for a room with a shower (not a bath) I was pleased to be given a wet room but it definitely needs updating. I had to get staff help to turn the shower tap, the sealant between floor & wall tiles was badly done.

it's really uncomfortable, the room is so small and also smells mariyuana around the corridor, The first room we got smelled stingy , The second we got small and still smelly even though it didn't smell like the first one, however this room good for backpacker not for the family, Not recommended, no amenities at all only towel we got
