The hotel was ideally situated where we didn't have to walk far to the venues which were approx 6-10 minutes walk. The hotel has a large underground car park that kept our car safe and secure, not many hotels have a bar and seating for guests which we thought was convenient, the room was modern, very clean and loved the high pressure shower that is adjustable, breakfast was lovely we prefer a full English with all the trimmings, though there is the continental option and as it was a buffet we ate as much as we pleased. Lots of things to do and see in Liverpool and a large shopping centre that we discovered on our way back from the Cavern club and eateries on the dock side All in all a brilliant first stay in this hotel and 2nd time in Liverpool...oh and a shout out to the receptionist who helped me with our parking, very patient. We are planning our next stay at this hotel for the near future.

I stayed at the Pullman Liverpool Hotel for one night as a last-minute booking after reading several reviews and watching a few TikTok videos—and I’m glad I did. On arrival, I was greeted warmly, checked in quickly, and made my way up to my room without any hassle. I had emailed ahead requesting a nice view as it was my first time in Liverpool. I was placed on the 8th floor, which was great, but unfortunately my view overlooked the roof of another building. I did ask if this could be changed, but the hotel was fully booked due to the Easter break, which I completely understood. The room itself was comfortable and overall made for a pleasant stay. The location is a big plus—just a short walk to the Liverpool Museum, bars, restaurants, the wheel, and plenty of shops for a bit of retail therapy. Parking is quite expensive, but the hotel does stamp your ticket which gives you a discount. I checked in at 3:30pm, checked out at 12, and paid £18 for parking—without the discount, it could easily cost 5–8 times more. Now for the negatives: cleanliness could definitely be improved. I met some of the cleaners when checking out—lovely, friendly staff—but the room needed more attention. There was dust on surfaces, hair on the tissue container, only two tissues left, the bathroom and mirrors weren’t cleaned thoroughly, and the shower gel hadn’t been refilled, so after a few pumps there was none left. Overall, despite the cleaning issues, I had a pleasant stay and would definitely consider staying here again.

All 100%, bedroom was very hot at 1st, spoke to reception as no open windows in room & reception told me how to do the air con and the room temperature was brilliant, Didnt have any food there, but no issues and will definitely go back, didnt pay any attention to decor as it's not where I live so doesn't bother me.

Excellent little hotel. Right in the centre of town and a short walk to the ACC. Bed was comfortable and the shower was powerful. Overall and excellent option and reasonably priced. Would stay again

Pleasantly surprised. Felt a little dated walking the corridors to my room. Once inside the room felt great, secure, ac, comfy bed, excellent location and I mean exceptional. It’s not the best hotel out there, but wins hands down for price, location, lovely staff. It’s really good ! I’d stay here again. Loved it !

Alright just to get your head down for a night. Needs a lot of money injecting in to it. Rooms are spacious and bathroom decent. Needs a lick of paint at least. We stayed third floor and was ok. Next to lift bit noisy but nothing too bad. Great location. Walkable distance to popular Liverpool destinations. Hop on hop off bus stops right outside too. Parking round the back. Easy to find a space and walk down to hotel. Not exactly secure car park though. Would we stay again …? For a decent price we would just for the room. We were there literally 9 hours and back out again the next day.

It was a lovely stay throughout. We had a lovely view of the waterfront from our room. The staff were friendly and kind. The rooms and facilities were great, it was nice and clean. it was close to the city centre and station.

This was one of the worst hotel rooms we have ever stayed in. When we arrived, we were greeted by a pleasant front desk clerk. The lobby has a lot of character in keeping with the Titanic theme and the pictures of the rooms had the same theme. We arrived at our room (fourth floor #46) located on a dark hallway that was being painted. The room was large and also had some plush features like the curtains, furniture, chandelier and wallpaper. Unfortunately, that's where the positives ended. Our room was very hot, with no ventilation and one small fan. The desk clerk offered to bring a second fan when we requested a hair dryer, but the second fan never arrived. The windows could not be opened even a crack ”due to safety reasons”. The room was sweltering and sleeping was extremely uncomfortable. In addition, the carpet was very dirty, there was mold on the wall above the bathtub and the sink, the lights beside the beds needed to be replaced, and the towel rack was missing from the wall. There was a small kitchen which was nice, but it was missing the basics (glassware, silverware, plates) and one of the drawers was missing its front. In short, the room was in bad shape and we are very surprised they would host anyone in that room. In the lobby, there was a young man sitting at the Concierge desk and when we asked him for directions, he said he was security and had no idea. He could not have been less interested and barely looked up from his phone. Apparently, the rooftop bar is nice, but we did not go there. We have stayed in a lot of hotels and are pretty easy going when it comes to our expectations. This hotel has so much potential, but the experience was a huge disappointment and we would not stay there again and cannot recommend anyone stay there.

While not ultra-luxurious, it was well-maintained and provided a cozy base for exploring the city. What I appreciated was the **transparent pricing** — I knew exactly what I was paying upfront (£126.90) and what I'd need to pay at the property (just £4.80). The Trip.com booking process was straightforward, and having their price match and stay guarantee gave me extra confidence in my booking. The app's ”Message Property” and ”Call Property” features came in handy when I needed some local recommendations. The ”Manage Booking” function made it easy to keep all my travel details organized in one place. Is it a five-star luxury hotel? No, but it doesn't claim to be. Phoenix Hotel Liverpool delivers exactly what it promises: a comfortable, well-located place to stay at a reasonable price point that lets you experience the best of Liverpool without breaking the bank. **Would I recommend it?** Absolutely! If you're looking for a centrally located hotel in Liverpool with good amenities and friendly service, this place ticks all the boxes.
