"Great place, pleasantly surprised at the nice rooms and lovely breakfast at affordable price. Stayed here and there us a bus stop just down the road for the airport."
"The Crowne Plaza Liverpool Airport was clean throughout, very comfortable bedrooms (We had a double bed in one room 003 and 2 doubles in another 049). Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Food: We had food in the restaurant area on the first night. 2 of us opted for the tuna and one for the ribeye steak. The steak was beautiful. The tuna had to go back for extra cooking as they were both still swimming. Apparently there was an ‘agency chef’ in the kitchen. Tuna was very tasty when we got it back.
We would all definitely stay again the next time we visit Liverpool. "
"Great place to stay before flying from John Lennon Liverpool airport. Literally right across the road from airport entrance. There wasn’t a huge choice for breakfast but what was there was excellent quality and hot! Would definitely stay again."
"Nice budget hotel close to airport. I arrived late and left early so did not spend lots of time there but my overall experience was good. Unfortunately they did not have any amenities for their guests and the only way to purchase was with coins. Great hotel for a layover or an early flight next morn!
The room was nice and clean and the duvet & pillows were actually amazing!!!"
"I came on Saturday 12 July , the booking in was good . The place is so clean and the facilities are really good . Would come again and thinking about booking soon ."
"A lovely Hotel just a 10 minute walk from Sefton Park a nice clean room I had a great sleep nice & quiet, had to park on pavement but no big deal a very safe area I would book again ."
"Negative points from our stay
I travelled with my 11 year old grandson, I booked us a twin room, which we got. Unfortunately, the room was an adjoining room to a double and the ”activity” noises from the other room were so bad that we checked out at 11pm as I didn't want my grandson to have to experience that. It literally sounded like they were in the room with us. I would perhaps suggest that in the future you look at your guest list and unless adjoining rooms are with the same party, where children are in a twin, look to accommodate the couple in another part of the hotel where possible.
I was disappointed that we were expected to pay £5 each to use the pool as I have never stayed at an hotel where it is not included in the room price.
Positive
All the staff were really friendly and helped as much as they could. The night Duty Manager was especially helpful and empathetic to my room dilemma but was unable to find us an alternative twin room, only a double which was not appropriate for us.
We ate in the bar and the food was exceptional although a little pricey.
The location was good and the hotel was easy to find. Be careful when you leave as there are two speed bumps on the exit, and no matter how slow you are going, it feels and sounds like your cars insides are dropping out.
Rooms were spotless and beds very comfortable."
"Staff were so lovely. Bed was comfortable and breakfast was of a high quality. Would have preferred free WiFi rather than just 30 mins but other than that it was good."

PPengguna TetamuThe hotel was ideally situated where we didn't have to walk far to the venues which were approx 6-10 minutes walk.
The hotel has a large underground car park that kept our car safe and secure, not many hotels have a bar and seating for guests which we thought was convenient, the room was modern, very clean and loved the high pressure shower that is adjustable, breakfast was lovely we prefer a full English with all the trimmings, though there is the continental option and as it was a buffet we ate as much as we pleased.
Lots of things to do and see in Liverpool and a large shopping centre that we discovered on our way back from the Cavern club and eateries on the dock side
All in all a brilliant first stay in this hotel and 2nd time in Liverpool...oh and a shout out to the receptionist who helped me with our parking, very patient.
We are planning our next stay at this hotel for the near future.
DDeepanshu kapoorI had a good stay at Pullman Liverpool. The hotel was beautiful, clean, and well maintained, and the staff were very helpful and welcoming throughout my stay. The overall atmosphere and comfort made it an enjoyable experience.
The only downside was that the dental kit provided was expired, which was disappointing and something that should be checked more carefully. Aside from that, everything else was great and I had a pleasant stay.
PPengguna TetamuAn exceptional stay! The room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed. The staff were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable experience. Convenient location with great amenities. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!
PPengguna TetamuStayed at Tune Hotel for 4 nights before my cruise from Liverpool. It was a great location as Terminal was about 5 minutes walk.
Also great location for all amenities in Liverpool.
Ellie at reception was very friendly and helpful and because room is not serviced every day you can request towels, toilet paper etc from reception.
Room was ok. It was cheap and cheerful. Shower was excellent. Great for short stays.
No chair in room and we only had 2 TV stations.
CClaire.BStayed one night with my daughter for my birthday. The hotel is very central and the reception staff were welcoming. Our room was large and modern, but extremely dark, if you plan on doing makeup, it might be worth bringing a lighted mirror.
I had requested a quiet room and was placed at the back, but unfortunately there was a constant noise that sounded like a generator, as well as the sound of glass bottles being emptied somewhere. Some guests also returned around 4 a.m., so I was lucky if I got an hour of sleep.
That said, I would still stay again.
PPengguna TetamuWe had a lovely stay. The standard hotel room was very spacious, bed very comfortable, room very clean and really nice decor. Breakfast was great, with fresh fruit, homemade baked bread and a good selection of hot and cold options. The White Bar was a great place for food and drinks.
Staff very friendly. Would highly recommend this hotel.
PPengguna TetamuI recently stayed at The Adelphi and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The room was clean and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Its proximity to the train station was incredibly convenient for getting around. The convenience of having bar on-site was a definite plus.
However, one significant drawback was the absence of refrigerators in the rooms. This was quite inconvenient, as it meant I couldn't store any perishable items or keep drinks cold for later, even with the bar downstairs. In today's world, having a fridge in a hotel room is almost an expectation, and its absence was definitely felt.
Despite this, I would still recommend The Adelphi for its other positive aspects, convenient amenities, and easy access to transportation. I hope the management considers adding refrigerators to their rooms in the future, as it would greatly enhance the guest experience.
PPengguna TetamuThis was one of the worst hotel rooms we have ever stayed in. When we arrived, we were greeted by a pleasant front desk clerk. The lobby has a lot of character in keeping with the Titanic theme and the pictures of the rooms had the same theme. We arrived at our room (fourth floor #46) located on a dark hallway that was being painted. The room was large and also had some plush features like the curtains, furniture, chandelier and wallpaper. Unfortunately, that's where the positives ended. Our room was very hot, with no ventilation and one small fan. The desk clerk offered to bring a second fan when we requested a hair dryer, but the second fan never arrived. The windows could not be opened even a crack ”due to safety reasons”. The room was sweltering and sleeping was extremely uncomfortable. In addition, the carpet was very dirty, there was mold on the wall above the bathtub and the sink, the lights beside the beds needed to be replaced, and the towel rack was missing from the wall. There was a small kitchen which was nice, but it was missing the basics (glassware, silverware, plates) and one of the drawers was missing its front. In short, the room was in bad shape and we are very surprised they would host anyone in that room. In the lobby, there was a young man sitting at the Concierge desk and when we asked him for directions, he said he was security and had no idea. He could not have been less interested and barely looked up from his phone. Apparently, the rooftop bar is nice, but we did not go there. We have stayed in a lot of hotels and are pretty easy going when it comes to our expectations. This hotel has so much potential, but the experience was a huge disappointment and we would not stay there again and cannot recommend anyone stay there.
JJay-PeeMy Two-Night Stay at Phoenix Hotel Liverpool: Central City Experience
Just wrapped up a fantastic two-night stay at Phoenix Hotel Liverpool and wanted to share my thoughts! At £126.90 plus a small £4.80 property fee, it offered excellent value for a city center experience.
The location at 46-48 Foley Street puts you right in the heart of Liverpool, which was perfect for my mini-break. Being centrally located meant I could easily walk to major attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas without relying on transportation. The vibrant city atmosphere was right on my doorstep!
I stayed from **Thursday, August 7 to Saturday, August 9, 2025** — a perfect two-night city escape. Check-in after 3 PM was smooth and welcoming, and the 11 AM check-out time was standard and convenient. The staff were helpful and made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived.
The hotel itself (which I could see in the booking thumbnail) had a classic Liverpool charm about it. My room was clean, comfortable, and had all the essentials I needed for a pleasant stay. While not ultra-luxurious, it was well-maintained and provided a cozy base for exploring the city.
What I appreciated was the **transparent pricing** — I knew exactly what I was paying upfront (£126.90) and what I'd need to pay at the property (just £4.80). The Trip.com booking process was straightforward, and having their price match and stay guarantee gave me extra confidence in my booking.
The app's ”Message Property” and ”Call Property” features came in handy when I needed some local recommendations. The ”Manage Booking” function made it easy to keep all my travel details organized in one place.
Is it a five-star luxury hotel? No, but it doesn't claim to be. Phoenix Hotel Liverpool delivers exactly what it promises: a comfortable, well-located place to stay at a reasonable price point that lets you experience the best of Liverpool without breaking the bank.
**Would I recommend it?** Absolutely! If you're looking for a centrally located hotel in Liverpool with good amenities and friendly service, this place ticks all the boxes. Perfect for weekend city breaks, concert-goers, or anyone wanting to soak up Liverpool's vibrant atmosphere.
