It is in an ideal location for theatre’s etc, the room was very clean and minimalist, a bit too minimalist for my liking, there was no bedside table, wardrobe or coffee/tea making equipment, just two peg by the door, I not like having to put my clothes on the floor, the bathroom however was excellent, that was a deal breaker for me, I won’t be returning.

The Stand Palace Hotel is fantastic! From the moment we arrived, nothing was too much trouble for the staff.
The room was immaculate. The bed was very comfortable - we were on the 3rd floor and had no issue at all with noise. The view left a lot to be desired, but to be honest, we weren't there to sit and look out the window! The room was small, but it didn't cause issues at all and had everything you'd expect/need from a hotel.
The breakfast the next morning was brilliant with a wide choice of food options.
The hotel is situated within walking distance to Covent Garden and Leicester Square, which was perfect for us.
This is the best hotel I've stayed in for a LONG time, and I will most definitely be returning. The complimentary bottles of water and chocolate were a great touch.

This was my second time staying at the Royal National Hotel, and it remains a solid choice for visiting London.The hotel’s biggest strength is its location in Bloomsbury. It is just a 2–minute walk from Russell Square station, which makes getting around very easy. It is also within walking distance to Covent Garden (about 20 minutes) and Piccadilly Circus. It’s a very doable walk if you enjoy seeing the city on foot. For those looking for more amenities, it is important to note that the hotel does not provide a fridge in the rooms. While it would be a nice plus to have one, it didn’t make my stay difficult without it. I found the hotel room to be relatively clean and well-maintained for a budget-friendly 3-star stay. Overall, it’s a convenient and reliable option if you want to be in the heart of London without a luxury price tag.

We were upgraded to an apparently larger room, goodness knows how small our originally booked room would have been because I wouldn't describe what we had as large by any means. It did have a view of The Thames and the London Eye, but I don't tend to spend much time looking out of my room window. Plus points the mini bar was ALL complementary, but I found the whole hotel dated and worn, with no wow factor, which I expected for the very expensive cost of two nights.

No problem booking in reception is 24 hours in the hotel next door. Rooms are an interesting layout, we had to go downstairs across the breakfast room and back up stairs to get to our room on the street level. Stairs are very narrow and bow in the middle . Beds ok a bit soft but nice size as 2 singles pushed together. Some street noise to be expected in London but not too bad. Noise from upstairs toilets who clearly were having an issue with the flush ( 26 times in 10 minutes was a bit excessive!) think drainage must be an issue as our bathroom smelled rather unpleasant . Well located to underground stations 5-10 mins to Goodge Street . We walked from St pancreas international station with rucksacks on arrival and departure about 15-20mins

Location is great, accessible to several main areas within Central London. Covent Garden, Piccadilly Circus, Chinatown, several cinemas and musicals are all within a 5-10min walk away.
Staff were also extremely helpful whenever we have questions or needed help.
Amenities & facilities provided are the bare minimum and basic stuff. So don’t expect too much, as you will be spending time outside most of time as well

Fabulous experience staying in President Hotel - amazing location with Russell Sq station only around the corner which made exploring so seamless. I was travelling with my 11 year old daughter on a girls trip for her birthday. The staff surprised us with complementary breakfast & a beautiful surprise from housekeeping when we checked in. Totally disappointed and no what I had heard about the Montcalm reputation. Misinformation about facilities being removed along with atmosphere and ambience. To me what I saved up to stay at this hotel which was only good for its location. I would like some compensation, a night in their main hotel, Royal London House wouldn't go a miss.

PPengguna Tanpa NamaWe stayed at the Wilde Aparthotel Aldgate Tower Bridge for two nights at the end of August and had a rather underwhelming experience. We expected more from this hotel, judging by its ratings online. As Coldplay was in town (our reason for visiting London), prices were higher than average.
The hotel is a five-minute walk from Aldgate East and about eight minutes from Aldgate Station. Liverpool Street Station is technically in walkable distance aswell, though taking the bus there is easier, with a stop right in front of the hotel. I wouldn’t recommend walking to Whitechapel for the Elizabeth Line – the walk felt long, annoying, and unsafe. Also, avoid walking further down the road toward McDonald’s after dark – sketchy atmosphere, and we saw two police scenes within those five mins of walking. Walking to Aldgate or Liverpool Street is safer.
The arrival was.. odd. No one greeted us, and we waited in the lobby for several minutes before someone finally helped us at a not-so-clean high table. The staff member seemed demotivated and spoke very quietly, though check-in was quick. Unfortunately, we were charged twice despite prepaying nearly a year earlier through a third party. This was resolved after I spoke with the manager, but I was surprised it was marked as a “user error” on our invoice, and no small gesture like waiving the early check-in fee was offered for the inconvenience.
We were given a room on the 9th floor. The corridors are dim, with black walls and stuffy air despite it being just 22 degrees outside.
The “triple room” is simply too small for three adults. The storage areas under the twin beds is smart, and there is a small wardrobe with two drawers, but oddly no safe to store your valuables. A table and chair cramped the room unnecessarily and looked cheap compared to the rest. The sofa bed was decent but had a pretty thin mattress and annoying metal railings that can be a little annoying when standing up / lying down; there was also no nightstand, only a photo shelf right above it where you really can’t put anything.
The kitchen area becomes very narrow once the sofa bed is pulled out. The fridge and sink were great, but the bins were tiny and filled up after just one day. The bathroom was also cramped, with practically no counter space. No toothbrush cups, Q-tips, or cotton pads were provided – unusual for a 4-star property. The soap dispenser was nearly empty and even fell out of its holder, and none of the dispensers were secured/locked, which isn’t hygienic (most hotels have that nowadays, for a reason!). We didn’t know where to go with dirty towels as there was no designated spot for them and no space. The heated towel holder being *right* next to the toilet is weird and inconvenient.
We had the AC running for hours & hours on end, yet it barely managed to cool down the room to an acceptable temp. At least it was quiet enough to keep on at night. The TV had few channels but casting worked very well. Light controls were fine, and the blackout blinds were excellent– also essential, since the windows aren’t tinted from the outside.
On the positive side, the room was clean, beds were comfortable, and it was quiet at night despite the hotel being full. We skipped breakfast as there are better options near Liverpool Street Station that we wanted to try out.
All in all, our first ever stay at a Wilde property was just okay. The location is central but not particularly the nicest, the staff lacked warmth, and the triple room was way too small for three adults. It should not be sold as a triple for three adults and would be better suited for parents with a small child. I imagine the higher room categories might do a better job of accommodating three adults.
We had what we needed; a clean room with good public transport connections. However, we wouldn’t stay here again as there’s better options out there.

PPengguna TetamuVery nice staff, very helpful. Breakfast buffet available, and when I needed to leave very early in the morning they provided me some cold food(croissants, muffins, oranges and hot coffee/chocolate).
They also provide tooth brush/paste, shaving set, comb when asked at the reception.
A couple of minor things: corridors are a bit hard to navigate for me, was not obvious which door leads to elevators, needed to read the signs after getting lost 😅.
I am not sure but breakfast seems to be the same every day? On the second day of my stay eggs were not there, but the rest was the same, I guess. I loved the option that you can grab a cup of coffee/chocolate/tea with you to go after you finished your breakfast. Not sure about every room, but mine didn't have a refrigerator, but I remember in my other IHG hotel stay there was one. Also hearing is possible only via air conditioner, and the maximum temperature is regulated, as I understood.
Otherwise very neet hotel, clean, friendly.

PPengguna TetamuThe hotel is very well located in central London, with easy access to both Euston and King’s Cross stations, which makes it extremely convenient for transportation. The staff were friendly and helpful, and their service attitude was very good.
However, the room was extremely small. It is acceptable for a solo business traveler staying for one or two nights, but it may feel too cramped for a longer stay or for more than one person. Overall, it’s a decent option for short, practical stays mainly due to its excellent location.

MM.AshalThe reception team were friendly at check in, and I was given a beautiful tin of truffles and some drinks vouchers (maybe as a diamond member?). This was really a special touch and appreciated.
However the room itself wasn’t great. I’ve stayed in quite a few London hotels so know you don’t get lots of space and for 1 night you don’t need much, but this room was so small it was a struggle to move about.
The air conditioning was on but it was weak. Thankfully the window opened slightly but it remained warm in the room.
Bathroom was dated, quite small and felt cheap.
Minor point but the pillows and duvet didn’t feel like the usual Hilton ones, they seemed thicker…
Overall, it was clean, relatively quiet and had great service which is all that’s really needed, but it felt more of a budget hotel with Hilton price tag.
I do think they are doing everything they can to make stays as good as possible, since they can’t really do anything about the room sizes.

PPengguna TetamuKecuali Restoran, yang menyajikan makanan asli Malaysia kerana kami berasal dari sana. Bilik-bilik hotel sangat teruk dan katilnya terlalu kecil untuk 2 orang. Dalam pengalaman lalu saya, saya masih belum menemui hotel yang begitu teruk dengan lebar koridor yang sangat kecil, dan lifnya sangat-sangat teruk. Namun, penginapan saya di sini sebenarnya membolehkan saya berkenalan dengan seorang pelayan di restoran bernama Sally (harap-harap saya telah menamakannya dengan betul). Dia sebenarnya sangat peramah sehinggakan dompet saya, saya percaya telah dicopet , kata-kata penghiburannya membuat hari saya. Pasti akan kembali ke Restoran tetapi tidak lagi tinggal di hotel lagi walaupun Ctrip membayar bagi pihak saya.😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

AAlison’s Silk Road TravelsI stayed in room 302 for two nights in January. The hotel was very easy to find from Ilford Train station and is a short walk. You can take the Elizabeth Line from Tottenham Court Road and it takes about 20 mins. The hotel is situated on the high street and has a lot of restaurants and nice shops. Lots of choice to eat. I had a very nice welcome at reception. Check in was easy. There is a really nice foyer with a cafe with nice cakes and snacks coffees. There is a lift. My room was really comfortable with a double bed and en-suite. The window opened. There was T and coffee available in my room. The bathroom was bigger than I expected. It was very clean. Carpet was comfortable. It was a comfy bed. Very clean linen and 4 pillows. There are sockets next to each side of the bed for laptops and phones to charge overnight. On the door to the en-suite was a nice big mirror, full length very helpful for us ladies. The room was good value. I had breakfast both mornings. I ate a vegan breakfast and vegetarian breakfast. There was hot food and a very good variety. The kitchen cooked me a delicious omelette with veg very nice. I’m not a vegan I just like to eat lots of veg. The buffet breakfast had a lot of variety olives, fruits, cheeses and sweet foods. There was plenty of fruits too. Hot milk was great I love it for my coffee. I really enjoyed staying here, great food and excellent value. Will definitely stay again in the future. The lady receptionist was very nice and helpful. I stayed at the Ramada hotel for a short weekend away to visit the museums and roam around the shops. There was plenty of cultural visits. I visited the Horniman museum, British Museum and the Petrie Egyptian museum as part of this trip. Not far from the hotel is a shopping centre with some interesting shops , TKMaxx and food shops. Everything was easy to get to.

YYourTravelBudLocation was really convenient from the tube. Room and bathroom was really small, though it’s common for London. I got a room on the 5th floor which was quite a hassle if you have a large luggage. Multiple stairs even after taking the lift. But overall a pleasant stay, close to Hyde park and lots of food around.
