IIgalI had an incredible stay at Shota@Rustaveli Boutique Hotel as a solo traveler blending work and leisure. The location is perfect—centrally situated in Tbilisi, just a short walk from the Tbilisi Opera and Ballet Theatre and the Georgian National Museum, making it ideal for exploring the city. The room was well-equipped with a comfortable desk that was perfect for getting work done. The service was outstanding, with attentive and friendly staff who made me feel right at home. This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tbilisi!

PPengguna TetamuOur recent stay (10-17 January 2026) at Tbilisi Philharmonic by Mercure Hotel was excellent in every aspect. The staff were extremely friendly and professional, with exceptional service provided by Natia, the hotel receptionist. After flying more than 14 hours from Singapore to Tbilisi, she kindly allowed us to check in slightly earlier, which was greatly appreciated. She also recommended a local restaurant serving delicious Georgian cuisine, which turned out to be an excellent suggestion. Another friendly hotel receptionist we would like to commemorate was Daviti, he was not only friendly but also understanding and gave good tourist suggestions.
The location is superb, with many supermarkets, cafés, and restaurants nearby, and it is conveniently close to Chachava Clinic. When arranging transport to the airport via Bolt, the hotel staff were very helpful in entering the side-door pickup location for us. The road in front of hotel is a busy road with bus lane hence entering into the Bolt cars will not be ideal.
The room was very clean, cozy, and spacious. A particularly thoughtful feature was the hot and cold water filter machine located near the lift area, making it extremely convenient to refill water without the need to purchase bottled water from the supermarket.
Overall, this was a very comfortable and well-managed stay under the Mercure brand, and we would highly recommend this hotel to other travelers.

PPengguna TetamuThe beds were very clean and the view was amazing from the 10th floor. Our room was always cleaned up whenever we would come back to the room everyday. The bathrooms cleanliness and shower was amazing and very good quality. The staff were very nice and all spoke English, giving us a comfortable and pleasant experience at the Hilton Hotel.

MMariaIt was upsetting experience during my 6th visit to amazing Tbilisi.
1. It is not easy to find an entrance as the hotel name is placed on another side of the building and the entrance door is not marked by any sign with the hotel name
2. Staff is not friendly or supportive. I checked in around 1 pm just to leave suitcase and did not ask to provide a room as had plans. There were 2 guys at reception dealing with me. I came back to the hotel around 7 pm, my docs were on the desk and I could see them while the receptionist could not find them and asked to sign the docs which have been signed in the morning. He could not explain me if there is a lift (I tried to speak both English and Russian) and I had a strong feeling that he is under some *****.
3. There is a restaurant on the 1st floor with very loud music. I booked a room with a lovely balcony but had to ask to change it as could not have rest because of the music. When I came to reception, first I was told that the music stops at 11 pm but I go to sleep at 9-10 pm and need quiet atmosphere (it is not metioned anywhere about music). Thankfully, I got another room but it was worse than the one I paid for. No balcony, 2 single beds instead of double one. Aints in the bathroom. So it was not a fair exchange (I was even ready to pay more for a better room but the staff is not supportive).
4. The breakfast is nice and the waiter in the restaurant is super nice and friendly (the only nice person I met at the hotel)

PPengguna TetamuThis is the second time we have stayed in this wonderful hotel. It's an easy drive from the airport and a fair price for the taxi there. The location is excellent with plenty of very decent restaurants and shops in the vicinity. There is a french restaurant nearby that I highly recommend if you like high quality french food. The snails and the soup starters are particularly delicious and the steak and fish is superb. The reception staff at the hotel are so friendly, welcoming and very helpful and professional no job is too small. You can rely on them 100%. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and warm especially in this month. All the amenities are there with plenty of tea and coffee and a fridge if you have your own items. The housekeeping staff are attentive and friendly and do an excellent job of keeping your room clean and fully stocked up. Finally, this hotel provides a buffet breakfast as well which again I highly recommend with a wide variety of food and fruit and pastry on offer and cooked food all to a high quality. It's a real pleasure to eat breakfast there in the charming restaurant area with plenty of tea, coffee and fruit juice. The staff are very helpful and makes your breakfast experience a very good start to your day. I highly recommend this hotel and I will be staying there again in December on a short trip over Christmas. It's always a pleasure and a sadness to leave when your trip is over.

PPengguna TetamuЗа свою цену довольно неплохо. Рядом автобусная остановка, откуда за 10 минут можно доехать до центра. Персонал отзывчивый. Посоелтное белье чистое. В капсуле есть телевизор . Полотенце не дали. В хостеле ходят в бахилах. И в капсуле нет места для стандартной розетки, только USB вход.

PPengguna TetamuI stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights. The first nights were fantastic - especially considering the price. The room was beautiful, bright, clean, nicely furnished, warm and very comfortable. The bathroom was beautiful, heated and clean too. And the staff were incredibly kind and friendly. The last night I stayed, however, my room had been double booked and so I was asked to move to a different room. Although things like this of course can happen, it seems to me that I am not the first guest to experience something like this and that reservations at this hotel therefore are inreliable …
The room I was moved to was relatively clean, but in poor poor condition. There were cracks in the ceiling and walls, wallpaper was peeling off and the bathroom facilities including the toilet were in dire need of renovation. There was a gap between the door and the wall (leading outside), so the room was very very cold. IIn order to keep the room at a bearable temperature I had to have the air conditioning unit turned up to max (31 degree C) and on full speed turbo setting. This was noisy and even so, the room was still cold. There was also no WiFi in this room - which as a foreigner is very inconvenient. Worst of all, there was no hot water in this second room, so I was unable to shower before leaving. A night for only a couple of dollars/euro more at an Ibis budget hotel would be an incomparably better experience. That would in other words have been a nice experience. This was certainly not.
The experience at this hostel thus depends very much on the room you are provided with. Had I been provided with the second room the first night I stayed, I would have checked out immediately. Very very cold, bad facilities, deeply uncomfortable. Had I not been a) moved from room to room due to overbooking and b) been moved to this particular second room, the overall experience would have been a 10/10.

The hotel is newly opened, and the room itself is clean and well-maintained. Housekeeping is flawless – towels are changed daily, they are clean and in good condition. The bed is comfortable, Wi-Fi works reliably, and the climate control is adequate (neither stuffy nor too warm). The room is equipped with a TV, though the channel selection is limited (no movie channels such as TV1000). Standard amenities are provided: bottled water, slippers, and bathroom toiletries (mini-soap, shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel), although body lotion, toothbrush, and toothpaste were not available.
Breakfast is quite basic, but all items are fresh.
I would also like to acknowledge the staff member who quickly resolved an issue with a steamer – she was smiling, friendly, and efficient.
1. Check-in experience and guest information: Upon arrival, there was no warm welcome, no escort to the room, and no luggage assistance. No in-room information was provided regarding Wi-Fi access, hotel services, bar prices, or the schedule of the conference (timing and location). All of this had to be inquired about separately after check-in. Additionally, the front desk had difficulty locating my reservation, which caused unnecessary delay.
I stayed at this hotel to attend a conference that lasted from early morning until late evening. Unfortunately, instead of a good rest, I had a terrible experience that completely ruined my stay.
2/ Security issue (a nightmare at night):
At around 3 a.m., while I was fast asleep before an important day, strangers walked into my room without any prior notice – they opened the door with their own key card. They were just as shocked to see me as I was to see them. Imagine waking up to find unknown people in your private space.
Not only is this a serious breach of security and privacy, but a little while later I was woken up again – this time by a receptionist who came to personally apologize for the earlier intrusion. Instead of handling this in the morning or at least calling first, they woke me up a second time. I couldn't fall back asleep afterwards, and I had to get up very early.
3/ Staff response (dismissive and unhelpful):
In the morning, I went to the front desk to ask how this could have happened and what the hotel was willing to offer as compensation for my ruined sleep and emotional distress. The female receptionist gave me a cold, cynical reply: ”We already apologized to you – what more do you want?” and ”You didn't sleep? That's your problem. We said sorry.”
This attitude is completely unacceptable in the hospitality industry. She made no effort to understand the situation, offered no solution (be it a discount, a complimentary service, or even basic human empathy). For them, a formal ”sorry” seems to be a free pass for any mistake.
Conclusion:
This hotel cannot guarantee the most basic things – your safety and a good night's sleep. And the staff clearly don't know how to handle guest complaints except with arrogance and indifference. You cannot get back the sleep you lost at 3 a.m., and the feeling of insecurity stayed with me for the rest of my stay.
I cannot recommend this hotel to business travelers or tourists alike. If you value your peace of mind, decent service, and actual safety – look elsewhere. Apologies don't replace quality rest, and the staff attitude here is truly disappointing.
