We had an amazing time staying at Kozmo, they had fantastic service, room in really good condition, definitely would recommend it.

The Estilo Fashion Hotel has great service, a comfortable room and a good location. We arrived in Budapest much later than expected and were very thankful to the staff and their speedy check in process that allowed us to get to our river cruise reservation on time. The staff were friendly and helpful each time we interacted with them. The location was perfect for us. We were steps away from the Fővám tér station which had metro and tram service to many of Budapest's major sites like the parliament, chain bridge, Buda Castle, Fisherman's Bastion and many more. We were also steps away from the large Central Market Hall and we were on the popular Vaci Street so there were plenty of souvenirs, restaurants, bars, cafes and other conveniences close by. We took the metro from the station by the hotel that gave us easy access to the Kelenfold Station (to get to/from Vienna or Bratislava), The room was compact but there was enough space for all of our things. It was a bit narrow with the placement of the desk and chair at the foot of the bed but we shuffled around to get by. There was a large storage cabinet as well as hangers for our things to help get stuff out of the way. The room has a mini fridge and we got a kettle and tea from the front desk during our stay. The room was quiet and the bed was comfy. The room ran a bit hot but the large window helped bring in some cool and fresh air. The bathroom was good with good shower pressure and plenty of hot water. They have an all in one body wash in the shower and some body lotion by the sink too. We did bring some of our products but the hotel's was decent too. They had a towel rack which made our towels nice and warm and helped dry off our swimming stuff after a nice visit to the Széchenyi Thermal Baths. The breakfast was nice and plentiful. They had very good scrambled eggs, breads and a tray of cured meats and cheeses each day. They also had a good variety of spreads and healthy items to choose from. We liked having yoghurt with a variety of seeds in it. The juice and coffee selection was nice too to help start our day. Getting there early wasn't a big issue for us but we found as it got busier not everything was consistently available.

Excellently located, older style hotel, wonderfully maintained, neat and very clean. Rooms are well laid out and of average size. The location on the Buda side of the Danube is just perfect for exploring the Chain Bridge, Buda Castle, Fisherman's Bastion, Matthias Church and an ideal viewing spot for the Parliament House. I found the staff pleasant, professional and polite, and they made me feel welcome from the outset. They were prompt with facilitating my request for assistance with carrying my bags both when I arrived and upon departure, as the entrance is not at street level, as you have to negotiate either a very steep cobblestone pathway, or many uneven steps, to reach the entry door. I'd be delighted to stay here again when I visit this extraordinary city in the future.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hostel. The location is excellent, with easy access to public transportation, restaurants, shops, and major attractions, making it very convenient for travelers. The hostel was exceptionally clean and well-maintained throughout my stay. The rooms and common areas were spotless, which made the environment comfortable and welcoming. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any questions or requests. The atmosphere was relaxed and suitable for both solo travelers and groups. Overall, this hostel offers great value for money with its outstanding location, high standards of cleanliness, and excellent service. I would definitely recommend it and would happily stay here again.

Everything was great. The bathroom was separate and the room was beautiful with a beautiful view. The staff were friendly and cheerful, and the service was excellent. The food was good and of high quality. The restaurant staff were very friendly and cheerful. If I come here myself, I will definitely come back. I was very impressed. The service was excellent and the location was very convenient. I really liked this place. I would recommend it. You won't be disappointed. ❤️

New hotel, convenient with supermarkets nearby and Westend shopping center around 1km away. Rooms are spacious and staff are super friendly 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Расположение очень удобное, если рано утром нужно добраться в аэропорт. Но от центра города далеко - это конечная станция метро. Сотрудники на стойке регистрации приветливые, терпеливо отвечают на вопросы. Номер достаточно просторный, есть маленькая прихожая со шкафом, в комнате стол, стулья, мини-холодильник, кондиционер, чайник. Приятно, что есть кофе и чай (в отличие от одноименного отеля). Везде чисто, хорошее постельное белье, новые полотенца. Wifi хороший. Хотя внутри двора машины, довольно тихо. Завтрак дороговат - около 11 евро. Явный минус - мини-холодильник работает плохо, почти не охлаждает даже на максимальном режиме. В целом впечатление благоприятное, смело можно рекомендовать.

after an absolute disaster where i had been scammed by another company, whose accommodation had already been booked out, i had the absolute pleasure of staying here for 5 nights, the room was immaculate and the staff were outstanding.

I stayed at Marco Polo Hostel for one week after reading many positive reviews. Here’s my honest take: 📍 Location (10/10): The location is perfect—right in the city center. It’s just a 5–8 minute walk from both Metro 2 (where the hostel is) and Metro 3 / Deak Ferenc Ter (for the 100E airport bus). Couldn’t ask for better. 👋 First Impression & Check-in: I arrived early at 9 AM on Christmas Day (Dec 25), well before the 2 PM check-in. A friendly staff member (chubby, helpful) allowed me to leave my luggage in the storage room—a very kind gesture that started my stay on a positive note. When I returned to check in, there was a small confusion about my booking (I accidentally booked for 2 people in a 12-bed dorm instead of 1), but the staff handled it calmly and professionally. They also helped sort out a postal code issue for my Hong Kong details—thank you! 🛏 Room & Sleep: I was assigned beds 3 & 4 in a 2nd-floor dorm. The bunk beds are subdivided, offering decent privacy. Noise was minimal—maybe 10–15 minutes of understandable movement here and there, but nothing disruptive. Most guests were European ( students, southeast Asians and Europeans) staying short-term. Male and female dorms are separate. 🚿 Bathrooms & Facilities: All showers worked perfectly—good hot/cold water. Remember to bring your own towel and toiletries. As a backpacker, I was prepared, but it’s worth noting. 🍞 Breakfast: Available for 3200 HUF. Simple but satisfying—fresh, hand-made bread was delicious. I’ve never eaten so much bread in my life, and I mean that in a good way! 💧 Water & Extras: Bottled water is available for 500 HUF. The friendly slim staff even gave me a discount when I bought five bottles. Tap water in Hungary is drinkable, so you can refill if you prefer. I also appreciated the staff’s fluency in English—communication was never an issue. 🔑 Small Issues Handled Well: Once I locked myself out of my room, and they promptly lent me a spare key. My key card occasionally failed, but they fixed it in under a minute. The team is flexible and quick to help. ❤ Nice Touch: During check-in, the staff introduced a charity donation for kids in Hungary. I donated for the first time here—felt good to contribute. 📌 Final Tips: Read the house rules posted near the counter. Bring your own toiletries and towel. The hostel is well-run, clean, and staffed by helpful, English-speaking professionals. ✅ Overall: Great value for money, excellent location, and genuinely helpful staff. I’d happily stay again and recommend it to fellow travelers. I will definitely come back here for my solo travel!

The location is good . Near the METRO . The building is very old , the lift was horrendous, it keeps breaking . The luggage has to be carry up and down physically . The hotel is on the 3rd floor . One good point is they provide a bottle of wine .
