Overall, our stay at the Mercure Budapest Castle Hill Hotel was okay as there were some areas that could be improved. The hotel front area had a warm and inviting ambience, which was nice. Upon arrival, we requested a top-floor room, but the staff recommended keeping our current room as it offered a better view. We appreciated their insight and decided to stay where we were. The hotel’s location was decent—about a 20–30 minute walk to the city area, making it manageable. The bedroom itself was spacious and comfortable, providing plenty of room to relax. However, the bathroom and toilet were quite small, which made them feel a bit cramped. Additionally, while the room was clean, the bathroom was less so. We noticed hair left behind, and there was little to no body wash gel provided. The towels were dirty upon arrival, requiring us to request new ones on the first day. One frustrating experience was with the housekeeping staff. On our second morning, we wanted to sleep in, but were interrupted twice—once at 10 AM and again at 11 AM—by a cleaner knocking to check when we would be leaving. When I confirmed that the checkout time was indeed 12 noon, I didn’t understand why they felt the need to rush us out. It felt unnecessary and a bit intrusive. Despite these issues, our stay was generally fine. If the hotel could improve housekeeping efficiency, ensure cleaner bathrooms and amenities, and provide a bit more space in the bathroom area, it would be an even better experience.

Carlton Hotel Buda Castle - A Location Lover's Dream! My recent stay at the Carlton Hotel Buda Castle in Budapest was largely defined by its absolutely awesome location. For anyone looking to immerse themselves in the historical heart of the city, this hotel is a fantastic choice. Being just minutes away from both the majestic Buda Castle and the picturesque Fisherman’s Bastion was a huge plus. I particularly appreciated the convenience for early risers – those who wish to view the stunning sunrise and enjoy the area before the crowds arrive (potentially with free entrance before official opening hours) will find this hotel incredibly convenient, as it's just a short stroll away. Furthermore, the hotel's location also allows for a pleasant walk to the viewing area across the river from the Parliament building. Seeing the illuminated Parliament at night from the opposite bank was a memorable experience, and it was easily accessible on foot from the hotel. The room itself was cozy and comfortable, providing a welcome retreat after a day of exploring. The bed was comfortable, and the room had everything I needed for a pleasant stay. However, there was one notable downside: the soundproofing could be improved. I occasionally heard noise from neighboring rooms and the hallway, which sometimes disrupted the otherwise peaceful atmosphere. Overall: Despite the minor issue with soundproofing, I would still highly recommend the Carlton Hotel Buda Castle, especially for travelers who prioritize location above all else. Its proximity to key attractions like Buda Castle and Fisherman’s Bastion, along with the easy access to sunrise views and the Parliament panorama, makes it a truly convenient base for exploring the best of Buda. If you're a light sleeper, bringing earplugs might be a good idea, but the unbeatable location truly makes this hotel a strong contender for your Budapest stay.

Location is very good. Supermarket or 24 hours store just within 5 mins walk. Transportation is very convenience. Room is big and cozy. Halászbástya just behind the hotel around 15 mins walk. we enjoyed breakfast time and stay.

We paid more for a room with a view. Not every room has the best view but our view was pretty good. The beds were pretty comfortable, overall the room was decent. Can't complain. The hotel is located in Buda section. It's a quieter and a more expensive part of Budapest. It's an area that all tourists go to called ”the castle district”. But it's not very central. Fortunately Budapest is not very big. So an uber ride will take you quickly to anywhere in Budapest.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is excellent — just a short walk from the station, making it super convenient for travelers. It also offers easy access to various tourist attractions, which made getting around the city hassle-free. The room was clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable. Everything I needed was provided, and I appreciated the attention to detail. The bed was cozy, and I had a restful night’s sleep. Overall, a great place to stay if you're looking for comfort and convenience. I would definitely stay here again!

酒店不大但非常精緻，位置絕佳就在景區內，離漁人碼頭、教堂、城堡都非常近步行幾分鐘。酒店服務非常好！我們是早上八點多就到了，本想選將行李存放前台，前台服務人員説稍等30分鐘，您就可以辦理入住進房間，我們就每人花14歐元加了早餐，早餐後就進了房間。早餐也非常不錯！在此感謝酒店前台哪位先生！使我們能在長時間座飛機後及時得到休息！也謝謝攜程推薦的好酒店！

The room was big and clean. Room with park view was quite for stay sastified. Enjoyed my breakfast with Parliament view every morning.

Excellent location, walkable to many places in downtown. Restaurants, exchangers and groceries nearby. Metro station Oktogon is right nextdoor. The hostel provides free breakfast, if you spend over 4 euros at the bar at dinner time you also get free dinner. There's a kitchen area in each room unit free to use as well.

I had a pleasant stay at the Ikonik Parlament Hotel. The cleanliness and comfort of the rooms were excellent, and the location was very convenient. The staff provided attentive service, and the hotel facilities met my expectations. However, for a 4-star hotel, the breakfast selection could be significantly improved, offering more variety and quality. Additionally, the Wi-Fi service could be more robust and reliable to better meet the needs of modern travelers. Overall, I would rate my experience 8 out of 10. Thank you for the hospitality!

Our stay here was absolutely wonderful. The rooms are spacious, tastefully furnished, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and always ready to provide advice and tips for our visit to Budapest. We especially appreciated the thoughtful gesture for New Year's Eve: a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine in our room. Additionally, we were provided with tea bags every day, which was a lovely touch. Thank you so much for the warm hospitality! We felt very comfortable and will definitely return.
