More than likely the best luxury hotel in New Delhi, the food is as good advertised, the staff are doing all they coukd within the small room Taj hierarchy allows them. As I finally got the minibar deposit back, I have to give it the deserved 5/5 algorithmic vote for the 2nd night. The overpriced Minibar Scam I don't drink Sugar which is even more irritating. That said I know the price of an unhealthy soda can...which is literally sold for 10% the rpice 50 meters away with the same barcode. The overpriced common soda aka Minibar scam, is no longer acceptable. Hotels that insist on insulting their guests with over priced Soda Cans will no longer be Luxury hotels...make a note of this, all new Luxury Resorts offer free minibar and depositless instant checkin...self checkout...because they want guests to remember the stay...systematic harassment at checkout is not Luxury at all, hotels that can't change outdated and malignant policies will be left behind, the minibar overpiced sodacan makes guests assume the restaurant and rooms are also 10 times overpriced...the overpriced Soda Can is the diagnostic marker that any guest can easily identify with confidence. If a Hotel can't afford a Free Minibar it is not a Luxury Hotel. All High-End Luxury hotels offer Free Minibar as it costs little to nothing; it projects opulence and true Luxury. Guests don't question the price of their restaurants or accommodation as they no longer have an overpriced Soda Can to serve as their reference point of Value. Once Taj confirms they made it a brand policy to get rid of the Minibar scam, they will benefit greatly from fast checkin and prompt checkout & unnecessary deposits...there will be less adversial intepersonal energy with the guests, nobody wants to feel taken advantage of...getting rid of the outdated pre-internet Minibar scam is how the best Luxury Distinguish themselves from the lower class scam establishments

We stayed for a night where was a comfy stay after stayed in the scam hotel (Hotel Emerald). The location is convenient as it’s nearby the airport. The security, front line & restaurant staff provide good services with smiles. You also can go to food court nearby with different food choices. Highly recommended

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Stay at Hotel Urban Lion I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Urban Lion. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The staff was polite, professional, and always ready to help. The check-in process was smooth, and the service was quick throughout my stay. The hotel is conveniently located near IGI Airport, making it a great choice for both business and leisure travelers. The food was tasty, and the overall atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a clean, affordable, and comfortable stay in Delhi. I would definitely choose Hotel Urban Lion again!

Amenities in washroom was very less. No hand towels , toothbrush kitt was absent, triple occupancy room have only one sleeper set, no iron board and iron wasn’t there. Major issue was at the time of check out when they told me that they don’t have any deposit amount reflected in my booking which I had paid them during check in that was Rs 21000/ and when I show my credit card message from my bank in Lalit hotel name then they agreed and refund the balance amount so it was horrible

I had a generally positive stay and would recommend this hotel, especially for a short stop near the airport. The location is very convenient, the staff were kind and welcoming, and the breakfast was excellent with good quality food. I also appreciated the complimentary drop-off service to the airport. The main area for improvement is cleanliness, specifically in the bathroom. The toilet seat clearly needed a deeper clean, and it gave the impression that some details are being overlooked during housekeeping. This seems like an easy fix with a bit more attention and consistency. One small note as well: the driver who provided the drop-off was a bit insistent about tipping. It wasn’t a major issue, but something management may want to be aware of to ensure guests don’t feel uncomfortable. Overall, this is a solid, well-located hotel with friendly service and good amenities. With a bit more attention to cleaning details, it would be an excellent stay.

There were bed bugs (khatmal) in my bed and it was a struggle to manage to sleep, taps of bathroom were leaking, the hotel lies on a congested street the sound of traffic was inside the room which was disturbing to take a good nap, i stayed in room no. 101, booked it for 2 days, sleeping on a bed full of bed bugs was threatning, irritating.

I had an absolutely delightful stay at this hotel, From the moment I arrived, The staff greeted me warmly and provided exceptional service throughout my visit. The room was impeccably clean. The Amenities were were Top -Notch. I can't wait to return...

My review would be based on my 4-day stay and will only be fair and square. The hotel is located in a bsuy area of main bazaar, so expect noisy neighborhood with honking cars and shouting people. The place is not that secure, if that is your concern. The hotel is in a neighborhood of slums (yes, i explored the inner streets and alleys). The hotel though is decent, good value for your money. Transportation is a bit difficult (especially if you will book indrive or uber) since it is a busy and narrow street, cars and motorbikes don't go much often there (they get stuck in traffic). The hotel room is okay. I booked a double room (i am a solo traveler but i want a big bed). They put two single beds together, so i can't really sleep in the middle because i sink in. The room is small. When I arrived, i was greeted by three medium sized cockroaches -two in the bedside table and one in bed. I managed to kill them though :-). Shower water is not always available. You can order food 24/7, and it was tasty (the falafel however is salty).. i paid roughly 100 usd for my stay. Internet connection is fast and reliable but you need to log-in everytime you get disconnected. Secutiry of the hotel itself is lax. In fact, they have a notice that THEY WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY THEFT WHATSOEVER, EVEN IF THE THINGS ARE STOLEN IN YOUR ROOM :-)... Visitors are not allowed. They provide airport pick-up and drop-off but the same is too costly (10usd) but in-app booking is only half the price (and even less). Hotel staff are willing to help you anytime foof the day - for a price. They always ask for tip (as in always).... Their tours are relatively competitive and at par with other providers. Breakfast is bad (i forced myself to finish the pancake, bread and omelette). The utensils, plates and glasses were dirty (watermarked in the glasses). They provide electric kettle in the room but no coffee or tea provided, nor mugs. Pillows and bed were soft, aircon is good but television not much choices. The only english content is the news. Will i recommend this hotel to friends? Yes if on tight budget. Otherwise, find a better one.

The hotel’s about a 10-minute walk from Aerocity Metro Station, and there are loads of taxis and tuk-tuks right outside—super easy to get around. The air conditioning worked well. I didn’t really notice any noise issues. The room and hotel were generally clean, though I did see one small cockroach in the room. Just a small one. No hot water for the shower. Refridge worked great. One thing to watch out for: everyone seemed really focused on getting tips. Your room key stops working every day at noon, so you have to go to the front desk to reset it. Then someone will escort you to your room—and ask for a tip. If you want to use the Wi-Fi, you have to ask the front desk for a password slip that only works for one device and only for one day. Each time you go back for a new slip, they expect a tip again. The hotel is a decent property located at a prime location in New Delhi. The rooms are a tad bit small and look a little dated. The house keeping team does a fantastic job of cleaning up each day and it feels good to be back to a well made bed and clean room after a long work day. The key cards seem to be a recurring issue with them needing repeated activation. Breakfast spread is decent and not much to brag about. In room dining is pretty expensive and is quite a deterrent. But the location helps to overlook a lot of the minor inconveniences.
