Menakjubkan
KKTKXFirst time staying at a Dormy hotel inn and super impressed with the level of hospitality for the price!
1. Public onsen and sauna are available on the top floor. Gender segregated with both indoor and outdoor (rotenburo) sections and the usual amenities. Only the sauna is closed overnight, the onsen remains open. Washing machine and dryer are available on 12F too. The washing machine is free, the dryer is not.
2. Free refreshment once you're done with your onsen. Ice cream at night and probiotic drink in the morning.
3. Free serving of ramen (yonakisoba) at night from 21:30-23:00. Head over to the restaurant at 2F.
4. Breakfast buffet is available and it was honestly quite decent for the price.
Would stay at Dormy again if I return to Japan 😊
BBokkie TruongAn elegant, smart hotel in a quieter location but an easy walk from the railway station. Rooms feel spacious with the large windows. A negative was they only had smoking rooms. Although there was a smoke smell in the room it was no a big problem
PPengguna TetamuThe location is perfect, with a walkable distance to the JR station and shopping street. There are plenty of restaurants and cafe nearby. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and tidy. We could see the Himeji castle from our room. We really enjoyed the stay. Highly recommended!
PPengguna Tanpa NamaGreat hotel in Himeji, will definitely choose the same hotel if I visit Himeji again. Hotel staff are very friendly and offered us earlier check in.
MMK LohBreakfast buffet ( included in the hotel price) is very delicious with many varieties, especially freshly squeezed fruit, vegetable juice, fruits like apples, pineapples, mangoes which were not available in my previous hotel at Toyoko Inn at Fukuyama.
However, my only problem was my knee issue ( chronic joints pain) as it was a bit difficult due to pain to get onto the elevated bathroom in the room.
PPengguna TetamuNice capsule hotel, the entrance is not very obvious. The only downside is the thin mattress, sleeping on the side is a bit uncomfortable but on the back its ok. You have a lock for your luggage right in front of your bed and a small locker inside the capsule so it was very convenient in that aspect.
PPengguna TetamuOnly stayed a night, but enjoyed the place. The beds in the dorm are pretty spacious, though the mattresses are rather thin. The hostel's layout encourages social interaction.
PPengguna TetamuThis is a five star hotel in a three star body. Rooms are TINY, like scandanavian homes, but everything was clean and fresh, staff were outstanding, we could store out bags before and after our stay, missing personal articles available for free downstairs. Clear rooftop vie of the castle so you don't have to leave the hotel for beutiful shots of the castle. Near a huge gorgeous, covered pedetrian only walking are. Only sorry to have had only one night here.
PPengguna TetamuLocation is really close to train station which I like. Lots of food options around. Himeji castle is a 20 minute walk but you can opt to take a bus if you have walking issues.
The bathroom and toilet is separated. Towels and amenities such as soap, shampoo, toothbrush, and moisturizing lotion are provided.
To be honest we didn't know how to operate the bath pool/jacuzzi, but it was already full when we got there so it was nice. There's a windowsill which allows you to peek inside the soaking area so that was funny. If you're with your spouse it wouldn't matter though.
CcchayyThe hotel is located near the station, it's then possible that you could hear the sound of trains pass by. Room was clean, size is ok for a solo. There're 2 options for dinner and you can choose when getting a coupon at the reception
