Hotel berhampiran Stesen Edamitsu, Kita Kyushu

We are so surprised by the quality and service of this hotel, as we expected older facilities etc. The location is super convenient - directly above JR. We drove so we parked downstairs which we can use multiple times a day. Very accessible to shops and restaurants - can't think of a better location than this one. In terms of service - staff speak good English and very friendly and approachable. We had a do not disturb sign on during cleaning hours but instead of like any other hotel to just skip your room until requested, they put a bag of supplies outside our room with towels, robes, toilet paper, amenities refreshers, drinking water and everything else they supply in our room, which was absolutely fantastic. I am truly amazed and would stay at this hotel again if I visit Kokura and will recommend others too. Highly recommend that you book superior rooms. Thank you staff for this wonderful experience!! The hotel located very near to the JR station , approx 5 mins walk to station , there’s many restaurants nearby

Wonderful stay at Premier Hotel Mojiko for two nights. Just a 3 minutes walk from Mojiko train station. Coming out from the hotel, you will see the exceptionally spectacular view of the Kanmon Bridge. Also, the ferry service is nearby where you can take a 5 minutes ride opposite to the Karata Fish Market for fresh sushi! Hotel room is good is size for twin sharing and clean. The service staff are very hospitable too. Hotel breakfast is great too! Lots of Japanese breakfast food choices. Nearby the hotel are souvenir shops and coffee places where you can catch a drink or get some nice gifts for family. Kanmon Straits Museum and Kyushu Rail Museum are all within 10min walking distance from the hotel too! If you are up for a walk to the Kanmon Bridge area to take the pedestrian tunnel, it’s about a 20-30min walk away by pathway. Good exercise!

The location is right next to the train station and there is a Family Mart and a Lawson nearby. The room is comfortable and spacious for families. Breakfast spread was also quite delicious with a mix of traditional Japanese foods and western fare. However, do take note that while the hotel provides wheelchairs, wheelchairs cannot be used outside of hotel compounds.

I loved this hotel when I first saw it, it’s exactly like it’s advertised, there is a whole shelves of comics in the lobby and you can bring them to your room and read ! The breakfast is also very thoughtful and delicious! I booked this place because I want to visit Mojiko and Shimonoseki, not to mention personally I think Kokura has better shopping experience than Hakata, with lesser tourists and you can get the items that are always out of stock in other big city! One negative side during Friday night there are a lot of drunk people walking like zombie around the station 😸 and I got slightly lost to get back to the hotel at night, the front desk staff is helpful and friendly.

Very strategic location, it’s about 300-400m from the train station. The hotel offers 24 hour FOC breads, snacks, coffee etc. All guests are allowed to enjoy the snacks after checkin before checkout. The bed is typical Japanese bed size, small for two person as it’s smaller than a queen size bed. The room’s light is dim though it has a controller to set the brightness. One big negative point to note, we booked and paid extra charge for breakfast for 2, but in actual fact , the hotel doesn’t offer any breakfast, just the same snacks which are offered free for all guests. So we kind “cheated” by paying extra ..to the room? (Since there isn’t any breakfast)

小倉駅から５分も掛からないかと思います。 大通りに面しているので、思ったよりスムーズに到着できました。 歓楽街の一角にあるので、夜は周りが騒がしい印象でした。 受付の方は皆さん親切でした。 コンセントの差し込み口が1ヵ所だったのが少し残念です。ベッドヘッド部分にもう１つあると便利かなと思います。 それと、少しルームキーの扱いが難しかったです。 それ以外はとくに問題なく利用させてもらいました。

It is our repeated stay at the hotel. We like larger room size and the excellent location which is surrounded by choice of food varieties, and proximty to the station.

訂了酒店最大間的房，帶著bb入住，因為bb只有幾個月大，所以在預定時沒有注意要填寫bb的人數。但入住當天bb資料和passport有一同遞給工作人員，填寫同行人員時也有填寫bb資料。但當時工作人員並沒有告知，嬰兒也要收取住宿費用。 在我退房的前一日，前台突然聯繫我，說要收取嬰兒的住宿費用一共jp4950，當時並沒有過多詢問，行為前台不是太懂英文。所以在trip.com上面聯繫了工作人員幫忙溝通，為什麼入住時沒有跟我說，突然才說要收取嬰兒住宿費用？我入住時亦有如實填寫我同行嬰兒的資料，沒有故意隱瞞。經過trip.com再次回覆時，酒店聲稱辦理入住的是新員工，後來負責人回來對數才發現。 我表示很不滿，因為既然你們酒店突然要收取我的嬰兒費用，是否應該所有服務都給我們？我bb並沒有佔用你們的床位，不用餐，也沒有去大浴場。 最後，經過我多次勾通後，最終才說這次給我免了我嬰兒的住宿費！訂房的需要注意一下！因為這樣給客人感覺到真的不好！

Nice self-check in hotel; door code is sent on day of check in. Hotel was nice, comfortable bed with free parking for 3 cars upfront. I had to chase for the door code as I didn’t want to arrive when it’s dark and struggle with the entry. It was sent to me with the help of Trip customer support. There is lift so no problem with my heavy luggage. Unlike other Grand Base hotels, this one has no laundry, no washing machine, no cooking stove, no utensils, just one kettle, 4 cups, one microwave and one fridge. Carpet had visible stains so not clean.
