Hotel berhampiran Stesen Hori, Himeji

First time staying at a Dormy hotel inn and super impressed with the level of hospitality for the price! 1. Public onsen and sauna are available on the top floor. Gender segregated with both indoor and outdoor (rotenburo) sections and the usual amenities. Only the sauna is closed overnight, the onsen remains open. Washing machine and dryer are available on 12F too. The washing machine is free, the dryer is not. 2. Free refreshment once you're done with your onsen. Ice cream at night and probiotic drink in the morning. 3. Free serving of ramen (yonakisoba) at night from 21:30-23:00. Head over to the restaurant at 2F. 4. Breakfast buffet is available and it was honestly quite decent for the price. Would stay at Dormy again if I return to Japan 😊

hotel was amazing! reception was very friendly & allowed us to check-in around 1am as our train to himeji got delayed for 70mins room : spacious & clean! [10/10] location : very convenient, 3mins walk from himeji station [10/10] miku & I enjoyed our stay! ありがとうございます！

Wonderful front staff. Check in process is easy and smooth. Corner twin room is small given there are 2 beds in the room. Restroom and bath are separate. Sadly, the design of the room left a huge corridor area essentially as wasted space in the room, making the room very small. Location, staff, service and cleanliness are all good, but the room layout or use can improve. It is really more suitable for a single bed only.

Breakfast buffet ( included in the hotel price) is very delicious with many varieties, especially freshly squeezed fruit, vegetable juice, fruits like apples, pineapples, mangoes which were not available in my previous hotel at Toyoko Inn at Fukuyama. However, my only problem was my knee issue ( chronic joints pain) as it was a bit difficult due to pain to get onto the elevated bathroom in the room.

Only 5 minute walk from the station. Lovely staff to welcome me. Check in was easy. I could leave my bags and come back later. Room was a good size and I had all amenities I needed. Great I could stream Prime video and Spotify from my phone. I could see beautiful sunsets from my window. Room was quiet apart from some thumps on the wall when cleaners were next door. Breakfast was incredible! Snapper rice, octopus rice, pho made on demand, eel congee made on demand, almond toast (superb), salads, eggs, fruit, bread and pastries, takoyaki, mackerel and sardines and puddings! And having free tea and coffee to access during my stay untl 8pm every evening. I will definitely stay here again and highly recommend staying here.

Room is small. Stayed one night and over the weekend hence the room rate was high. Also it coincided with the marathon. There was free parking which was one of the reasons I chose this hotel. The hotel staff are not very conversant in English and it is not near the city centre. There was however a very big supermarket nearby where we could pick foodstuff for our journey up north. Came back to Himeji a week later and this time I stayed at a hotel located in the city centre where there are a lot of parking around it.

Location is very convenient, a few minutes away from the station and there are lots of retail shops and restaurants near by. Amenities and refreshments are all located in the lobby for self-service, and staff at the front is very helpful when we encountered any type of question. Our room is located on the top floor, which gave us nice views and ventilation. But we are aware that our friends staying in other floor/type of room was a bit more crowded and compacted.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location is very convenient, the service was great, and the hotel was clean and quiet. It was a very good experience, and I’m glad I chose this place.

Hotel was clean and super close to the station. Himeji Castle reachable by foot. Staff was kind and keen to help, we really felt welcome here. Room was small (as everywhere in Japan) but clean and provided with all the amenities needed! We would absolutely recommend this place! PS: They also have a cool onsen with a sauna and an outdoor bath!
