PPengguna TetamuThe best stay ever with exceptional service and super gorgeous room + private onsen. We enjoyed a complimentary welcome drink and dessert before they showed us to our room. The loft style japanese room was stunning, decorated with tasteful details. The best part was of course the onsen, we could watch snow as we enjoyed the soak. There was also a massage chair in the room haha.
The breakfast that we added on was really delicious too. The hotel provides pick up service to and fro train stations nearby, make sure to check with them prior to your arrival.
Something that warms our hearts is their quality service, e.g. they would warm our shoes before we head out as it was snowing outside etc.
Location wise, it's very near to Gala Yuzawa station. However, I think most restaurants are closer to Echigo Yuzawa station. So we would take a short walk there every night for dinner instead.

AAirgeekedOne of the nearest accommodation to Gala Yuzawa Ski Resort and shuttle via a mini bus is available. Shuttle bus goes to Echigo Yuzawa station too. It is walking distance from Gala Yuzawa. Approach any staff at the Ski Resort with the telephone number of the hotel to request for it. Stayed there for a few night for snowboarding. Breakfast selection was fabulous with two local Japanese sake available! The room is big, clean and well furnished. It even come with a great view! Onsen street which is the street lined with restaurant is 10-15mins walk away. I recommend making reservation for dinner if you do not intend to go out for dinner. Great service is one of the key reason why I would return to stay!

Harganya kira-kira 1,000 yen dan mengambil masa 5 minit dengan kereta. Kemudahan hotel bersih dan terdapat kolam air panas di tingkat 4. Sarapan dan makan malam di hotel boleh ditempah sehari lebih awal.

PPengguna TetamuThe owners were extremely accommodating. Their stated transport service from the homestay to the ski resort was 8am - 10am and 4pm - 5pm but because it was not very busy, the owners offered to drive us at 11am. They also sold tickets that were discounted and brought us to rent ski equipment for about half price of the hotel’s. The room is also spacious but modest. The owners speak mandarin as well so it was nice to have someone translate for us at the rental shop. This is a very good budget friendly option.

TTravelling SnoopyThe room is very large with its own toilet and bathtub. You may also use their private onsen at a reasonable price, but unfortunately the onsent wasn’t hot enough. Breakfast and dinner are both tasty and large in portion. Overall a very high CP

PPengguna TetamuI’m giving my honest opinion. This is my first unsatisfied review for a hotel room. I was very disappointed by the room for the price I paid. I paid more for this room than what I paid for luxury upscaled room near Tokyo Disney. The photos online were very deceiving. When I entered my room, it was gross, i cringed, and my toes curled. I didn’t want to put my belongings down. The carpet was old and disgusting. The pull out couch bed was gross. There were stains on the couch back rest and the mattress. The sheet for the mattress was too small it didn’t cover the stained mattress. The beds were hard and didn’t feel clean. The shower curtain had a bad odor. The room was very dated. Since this hotel is pretty secluded and other hotels were booked we had to make do. I’m glad we only stayed one night. On a better note, the staff were very friendly and service was great. Location for skiing was amazing, and the free shuttle bus was fabulous. Naeba Prince Hotel really need to do better with their rooms. I was looking forward to bringing my entire family of 14 to stay a few nights next year, but after seeing the rooms, I will not stay here again unless they renovate their rooms which are in dire need of upgrades.

EEli YeowSuch a cozy place! Free laundry and hot drinks were much appreciated. There is a fireplace in the common area and a storage room for ski/snowboard equipment. I topped up for the meal plan and the food was great, but the cooking amenities are sufficient for those who wish to bring ingredients and cook their own food.
Only thing was that the mattress was a little thin, but I only stayed 2 nights so it wasn't really a big issue to me.

TTikdademonIt’s quite a walk from the station, but the hotel offers a shuttle to Echigo‑Yuzawa, though the frequency is a bit limited. Overall, the stay was really nice. My only small complaint is that they provided just two small bottles of water for a two‑night stay.

PPengguna TetamuThe room is spacious but ordinary. The room heater is old and traditional that made the room very dry and uneven temperature in different parts of the room. The water heater is not stable and sometimes it will shut down. The bed and pillow is uncomfortable. The hotel just beside the main road of village and our room windows are facing to the road, thus it is quite noise in the morning especially when it is raining or snowing. To be concluded, the room made us uncomfortable. Not recommended.
