Hotel berhampiran Resort Ski Naeba, Yuzawa

Lokasi sangat strategik, betul-betul di tengah-tengah jalan makanan onsen, dan dekat dengan stesen, padang ski dataran tinggi serta restoran, semuanya boleh dicapai dengan berjalan kaki. Bilik sangat luas dan susun aturnya selesa. Di tingkat bawah ada lounge di mana tetamu boleh menikmati tiga jenis sake secara percuma, dan kotatsu sangat selesa. Onsennya bagus, ada kolam di dalam dan di luar. Sarapan pagi terasa istimewa, tetapi nilai untuk wang sangat rendah, jauh berbeza daripada Ryokan Takahan yang lebih sederhana. Servis biasa-biasa sahaja, ada seorang budak lelaki dari Guangdong yang boleh berbahasa Mandarin semasa menyambut tetamu. Ini adalah ryokan keluarga, dan pemiliknya agak dingin.

This boutique hotel is an absolute delight. With only five rooms in total, it offers an intimate, ryokan‑style experience where every guest receives thoughtful, attentive service. The staff embody the spirit of Japanese omotenashi—quiet, sincere, and always one step ahead of your needs. Because the property hosts so few guests, the atmosphere is calm and unhurried. You never feel like just another booking; instead, it feels as though the entire team is dedicated to making your stay exceptional. The dinner course is a highlight you simply cannot miss. It’s beautifully crafted, seasonal, and clearly prepared with great care. Just be sure to reserve at least two days in advance, as the kitchen prepares ingredients specifically for each guest. To my surprise, the overall experience here surpasses even some well‑known Japanese luxury brands like Hoshinoya. It’s more personal, more serene, and ultimately more memorable. A perfect stay for anyone seeking genuine hospitality and a peaceful retreat.

Hotel sits right next to Ichigo Yuzawa, super convenience to commute. Facilities are good. Ski rental is right in the hotel with a private transfer to ski resort.

One of the nearest accommodation to Gala Yuzawa Ski Resort and shuttle via a mini bus is available. Shuttle bus goes to Echigo Yuzawa station too. It is walking distance from Gala Yuzawa. Approach any staff at the Ski Resort with the telephone number of the hotel to request for it. Stayed there for a few night for snowboarding. Breakfast selection was fabulous with two local Japanese sake available! The room is big, clean and well furnished. It even come with a great view! Onsen street which is the street lined with restaurant is 10-15mins walk away. I recommend making reservation for dinner if you do not intend to go out for dinner. Great service is one of the key reason why I would return to stay!

It is a hotel with history. The maintenance and service is good. Breakfast and dinner buffet are good too. The pick up service from the station can be arranged immediately upon arrival, highly appreciated. The outdoor hot spring is good.

We are not allowed to wear our own shoes once we enter the lobby. If we are expected to walk bare feet, maybe the hotel should consider providing guest with indoor slippers. It is very uncomfortable walking to the restaurants barefeet as no matter how clean they keep the floors, there’s bound to be food spills and oily surfaces. Breakfast and Dinner are great, just need more variety for guests staying more than 3 days.

Kami seperti dem bois. Kelebihannya ialah mereka kadangkala mempunyai pelatih yang bertutur dalam bahasa Mando sekiranya anda tidak bertutur dalam bahasa Jepun. Nilai yang hebat. Tempat mandi terbuka yang hebat. Makanan laut yang kuat. Gambar adalah perkhidmatan makan malam kaiseki.

This hotel is located at a very convenient location near Echigo-Yuzawa JR train station. It is also a stone's throw away from Family Mart convenience store where I get my breakfast and coffee every morning. During ski season, the area around the train station gets booked up fast due to the convenient links to the various ski resorts around the locality. The owner of the hotel was very friendly and helpful. He was showed kindness and was concerned of my well-being too after the snowboarding sessions. Thank you so much for the enjoyable and wonderful stay at Yuzawa!

It’s quite a walk from the station, but the hotel offers a shuttle to Echigo‑Yuzawa, though the frequency is a bit limited. Overall, the stay was really nice. My only small complaint is that they provided just two small bottles of water for a two‑night stay.

The room is spacious but ordinary. The room heater is old and traditional that made the room very dry and uneven temperature in different parts of the room. The water heater is not stable and sometimes it will shut down. The bed and pillow is uncomfortable. The hotel just beside the main road of village and our room windows are facing to the road, thus it is quite noise in the morning especially when it is raining or snowing. To be concluded, the room made us uncomfortable. Not recommended.
