PPengguna TetamuI got a full course meal with mix of European and Japanese cuisine for dinner and breakfast.
Incidentally my room was facing east and towards the bay, so I could catch the sunrise. At 530 am I could see the buildings across the bay waking up. The room given to me was very big, could easily fit a family in there.

PPengguna TetamuFirst ever stay in a ryokan and I must say that the experience was a pleasant one. I enjoyed my stay from the time. We check-in all the way till we checked out. The in the dining hall however, it wasn’t noisy at all. Breakfast and dinner had variety and was fresh. Ryokan was just opposite the sandbar, so we could easily take a walk there. Amanohashidate Viewland & the train station is about 3-5minutes walk as well. Pretty convenient.

PPengguna TetamuSuitable for those driving. Spacious hotel up on a hill. The common area looks modern but the rooms look abit dated. My teens appreciated the ”retro look” ..the ocean view compensates for the rooms. What we all enjoyed as a family was the onsen & evening bar & snack sessions. There were also some family activities,so it'll be suitable for kids. Perhaps summer might be more things to do. Free parking definitely a plus too.

AAlexHotel location is very good for self driving travelers. The hotel is a traditional building with very good service. The staff are friendly. There were two issues due to our room location. One of them was our room located next to the public toilet. When we passed through the toilet going back to the room, it was a bit smelly. The second issue was the guest making noise by stepping around upstairs during the midnight. Other than that, the hotel itself is fantastic.

BBasGeweldig oude herberg van 100 jaar oud. Oude japanse charme. Ik had een kamer met prima ruimte en verlichting. Er was een ons/bad dat fantastisch was en de eigenaren waren hele lieve, gastvrije mensen. De locatie is dicht bij een busstop richting Ine, een grote supermarkt en de cable car naar het park.

PPengguna TetamuWonderful hostel! The girl on the reception is most helpful and friendly. It is 7-10 minutes from the bus stop, partially uphill, but the breathtaking view from terrace is worth it. Dinner and breakfast is substantial and tasty, free tea and coffee all day long. In the bathroom they have a small but nice sento!
I highly recommend it!
