Hotel is located at the quieter side of Yokohama (compared to staying near the JR station)- good for light sleepers and is 500-metres from Chinatown. Grateful for the upgrade in the room category! We also enjoyed the complimentary Nespresso coffee on L1 and L7 lounge and were able to use the laundromat (¥400/session for washer and ¥100/30mins for the dryer). Only issue was there is no parking facilities at the vicinity and guests are recommended to park at the Osanbashi Pier terminal which is a 10-15min walk away. Parking charges as of May 2026: Max ¥1500 for weekday and ¥2000 for weekends. Nevertheless the train station is just right below the hotel.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the JR-East Hotel Mets Yokohama Tsurumi, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The location is incredibly convenient, especially for travelers looking to explore Yokohama or needing easy access to Tokyo. Being right next to Tsurumi Station makes it incredibly easy to get around without relying too much on taxis or long walks. The room itself was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. Though not overly spacious, it made efficient use of space, ensuring a pleasant stay. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. What stood out most was the exceptional service provided by the staff. They were always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The complimentary breakfast offered a nice variety of both Japanese and Western options, which was a great way to start the day. If I had to find any fault, it would be that the hotel is located in a quieter part of Yokohama, which might not suit everyone's taste. However, for me, it added to the charm and made for a peaceful retreat after busy days of sightseeing. Overall, I highly recommend the JR-East Hotel Mets Yokohama Tsurumi for its comfort, convenience, and outstanding hospitality. It offers excellent value for money and is a fantastic choice for anyone visiting the Yokohama area.

A great hotel overall. Check in was fast and informative. Staying at this hotel saves a lot of parking fee. You need to do the redemption with reception. Book a room with the bay view, you definitely would not regret it. Facing the bay and Ferris wheel 🎡 is definitely a highlight. Room is big and toilet comes with WC, standing shower and a bath tub. Hotel connected to 3-4 malls, endless shopping and dining.

Supposed to be a birthday stay in a 5-star hotel In the end I felt like staying in an ordinary 3-star hotel. I’d say even a 3-star hotel in Tokyo just before is better. If you have any special requests, please book directly with the hotel, they don’t take any messages from agents The front desk service is normal without warmth. If you needed to book airport limousine, please do it yourself online as the staff won’t do it for you The only thing worth mention is the perfect location to join activities at Pacifico, otherwise it is far away from most sightseeing locations.

It is not the first time I have stayed at this capsule hotel. The capsule does not make you feel claustrophobic, and it is quite sound isolated from other capsules. In addition, the hotel is very well located, just a couple of minutes' walk from Yokohama Station. The only problem is that there is no private men's bathroom. So, if you don't feel comfortable showering in front of others, you may have to consider another option. If collective showering is okay, there is plenty of space. There is even a sauna and pools; not to swim, but it is big enough for several people to enjoy it at the same time.

Near convenience stores and supermarket. Also inside Chinatown where different food are offered. Walking distance from Motomachi Chukagai Station.

初めての予約だったので、入室するまで少し手間取る場面がありましたが、すぐに対応して頂いたので不都合はなかったです。宿泊料金が安いので、その分観光にお金をかける事が出来ました。近くにコンビニや飲食店、駐車場もあり快適でした。

It is on 4th & 5th floor . No elevator. Dorm style with private tatami bedrooms with windows and ac. Each floor has 34 units, 3-5 toilets, one shower, one simple kitchen. Male bathroom has bad smell because no automatic flush system was installed for urinals. I recommend it for tourists from less developed countries. In western style, it is of sevic level of motel 6 Reception room is across the street. They provide luggage storage for free.

4階の部屋でしたが、エレベーターがないため、スーツケースを持って階段を上り下りするのがとても大変でした。 室内の雰囲気はまあまあでしたが、一番気になったのはシーツの毛玉です。シーツにかなり毛玉ができていて、清潔感があまり感じられませんでした。 正直、事前に想像していた民宿のような雰囲気そのもので、衛生面がきちんと管理されているのか不安に感じました。特に寝具は直接肌に触れるものなので、もう少し清潔に保ってほしいと思います。
