PPengguna TetamuVery enthusiastic staff during check in. Ryokan is run mostly by foreign staff who spoke fluent English. They are hardworking and welcoming.
Room allocated is aged and musty smelling. Hot spring bath is good though.
Kaiseiki Dinner at this ryokan was the worst of the four we had during our Izu pennisula trip. We were served beef that was not fresh, sashimi with tough tendon that should have been removed by the chef.
We will not return and do not recommend.

PPengguna TetamuThe resort is truly remarkable with good food and onsen facilities. My rating is purely based on the resort experience.
However, I will like to provide feedback on the reservation experience on trip.com. The pricing indicated on trip.com is not totally transparent. At the time of booking, I indicated 2 adults and a 7yo child to get accurate pricing. The amount was prepaid with a small fee JPY450 to be paid at hotel. At check in, I was shocked to learn that we are expected to pay for the child room rate at JPY22k+. That was not indicated on the “to pay at hotel’.
Trip.com customer service officer replied that the requirement was indicated on the email confirmation sent. This is upsetting as I usually used the mobile app and relied on available information to make reservation. It is not my habit to check email confirmation given the information on the app is correct. Pricing should be made transparent at point of booking and not after booking. And out of ‘goodwill’ they offered me a compensation close to 50% of the child room rate.
I have been using trip.com since covid and this is my first time having such issue. I hope my experience can benefit others who is booking this accommodation with child.

NNgChristineA beautiful property with traditional Japanese architecture. Both the Kaiseki dinner and breakfast were exquisite. We thoroughly enjoyed the comfortable outdoor public onsen, as well as the very relaxing private bath (just be sure to book in advance!).
Most importantly, I want to express my sincere gratitude to Ms. Umakoshi. My husband felt unwell during the night, and she provided us with so much help and support. Thank you so much for your kindness!

PPengguna Tetamu最新的房間都是昭和初期建造的房間，已經是當地的文化財的一家老牌旅館，簡直狠狠心動了。
需要嚴格按照入住時間才能進入，提前郵件與酒店加錢升級了晚餐改到了房間內吃的料理長套餐。本次分到的是1899年明治時代建造的雪之棟。16點有老爺爺全日語講解旅館歷史展示室，當天就衹有我一個聽，雖然有名的人名很多，對外國人來説很小眾，但是對於日本人應該都是很有名的人設計、在這個旅館住過的歷史。比較有印象的是有一個人是以前500日元紙幣上的人。
房間是乾淨整潔的榻榻米，很大。窗外一眼綠色超美，有一本日本各地古老旅館的案內書可以種草。有迎客點心，晚上吃飯的時候也送了小點心和一個較酸味道很健康的橘子🍊。
最有逼格的還是晚餐和早餐都是穿和服的小姐姐一次一次按照一道菜吃完的時間進門上菜。擺盤超級精緻
房間內有木質浴缸放温泉水，但是晚上開燈的時候很自然的石頭牆縫有很多趨光黑螞蟻，有點害怕匆匆結束了（白天的時候就沒有螞蟻了，小姐姐説螞蟻不會進房間，下次也可以用房間內的殺蟲劑）。酒店有好多處公共温泉，還有兩個私湯。一個私湯免費，一個私湯雖然收費，但是凌晨之後免費。起早四點多薅了一把羊毛，免費體驗了原本收費的私湯。所以下次可以不用預訂帶浴室的房間更好。
修善寺真的是寶藏温泉地，下次還來

The service was exceptional—attentive, warm, and thoughtful. every detail was carefully curated to create an unforgettable experience. highly recommend this ryokan to anyone seeking a serene getaway with top-notch hospitality.

LL. CelineBooked room with the onsen and it was a nice touch but it might cost a bit... nevertheless the service was good and they do have free shuttle. Just take note its just to the station. If you would like to visit Shuzenji temple, you gotta get down and walk the other direction. Breakfast has a wide variety. 👍🏻
P.s. try checking in earlier, cause when it gets dark, its might be difficult to find your way up the mountain as road is winding.

PPengguna TetamuI had a wonderful stay at Laforet Shuzenji Sanshisuimei. Overall, the experience was excellent and very relaxing.
I booked the Mt. Fuji Side Hot Spring Open-air Bath room, and it was absolutely worth it. The room was very spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed. Having a private onsen bath in the room made the stay feel extra special. Soaking in the open-air bath while enjoying the peaceful mountain surroundings was truly unforgettable.
The location is tucked away in the mountains, which makes it perfect for those who value privacy, tranquility, and a quiet escape from the city. However, it may not be ideal for travelers looking for a highly convenient or easily accessible location. I drove there and would strongly recommend doing so. Complimentary parking is available, which made the trip very convenient.
One small note for future guests: toothbrushes are not provided in the room and need to be purchased at check-in, so it’s good to prepare in advance.
The only minor issue during my stay was that the temperature control for the private onsen bath in my room was not functioning perfectly. It would be great if this could be improved. That said, it did not take away from the overall enjoyment of the stay.
Overall, it was a fantastic and rejuvenating experience. I would definitely consider returning for another peaceful getaway.

DDuzhiqiewen酒店的地理位置位於伊豆半島的山中位置，沒有公共交通可以到的，我們是包車的所以沒啥壓力，如果想通過公共交通來需要做下功課了，酒店內有巡迴擺渡車，可能僅限於酒店範圍內。辦入住有2個地方，最高處的guest house辦理的是別墅或者打高爾夫球的客房，另外一處是普通客房入住辦理。房間很寬敞60平米有的，很寬敞，不過設施基本都是上世紀80年代左右了，酒店可以考慮翻新。酒店內有森之湯，體驗不錯。最後，自助早飯的日式炒蛋、味增湯、培根、土豆都很好吃。入住時清一色日本人，關鍵還是位置的原因，不過如果時間寬裕的話，這裏適合度假、打高爾夫球、或者團建，但最高自己備車。
