"hotel was amazing! reception was very friendly & allowed us to check-in around 1am as our train to himeji got delayed for 70mins
room : spacious & clean! [10/10]
location : very convenient, 3mins walk from himeji station [10/10]
miku & I enjoyed our stay! ありがとうございます!"
"Breakfast buffet ( included in the hotel price) is very delicious with many varieties, especially freshly squeezed fruit, vegetable juice, fruits like apples, pineapples, mangoes which were not available in my previous hotel at Toyoko Inn at Fukuyama.
However, my only problem was my knee issue ( chronic joints pain) as it was a bit difficult due to pain to get onto the elevated bathroom in the room."
"Wonderful front staff. Check in process is easy and smooth. Corner twin room is small given there are 2 beds in the room. Restroom and bath are separate. Sadly, the design of the room left a huge corridor area essentially as wasted space in the room, making the room very small. Location, staff, service and cleanliness are all good, but the room layout or use can improve. It is really more suitable for a single bed only."
"First time staying at a Dormy hotel inn and super impressed with the level of hospitality for the price!
1. Public onsen and sauna are available on the top floor. Gender segregated with both indoor and outdoor (rotenburo) sections and the usual amenities. Only the sauna is closed overnight, the onsen remains open. Washing machine and dryer are available on 12F too. The washing machine is free, the dryer is not.
2. Free refreshment once you're done with your onsen. Ice cream at night and probiotic drink in the morning.
3. Free serving of ramen (yonakisoba) at night from 21:30-23:00. Head over to the restaurant at 2F.
4. Breakfast buffet is available and it was honestly quite decent for the price.
Would stay at Dormy again if I return to Japan 😊"
"Location is really good and central and walking distance from all the major places. Service was good because they gave us a different room with two actual beds, just make sure if you book a double room it is with an actual bed and not a bed and a couch. But great that they were able to put us in a triple room. The couch is not a great way to sleep, you would have a crack in the middle. But 4,25 stars out of 5"
"Best VIEW hotel (affordable price) so far as I tried many hotel in Japan before.
Room quite small, wifi on my room not stabil and my lamp turn off twice without no one touching anything. It still fine tho. Abundantly amenities it was amazing! If you come to Himeji, I will recommend this hotel!
It only straight from HIMEJI station and easy to find food nearby!
Ps : my room space a bit weird. Hard to put 2 small cabin luggage. I hope only my room have this matter."
"Love the location, near JR stations with easy access to eateries and shopping. Although the hotel doesn’t has it own parking, it has plenty of coin parking nearby and price is reasonable with max 800 / 900 jpy for 24 hours (hotel website provides recommended coin parking area for reference). Bed is very comfy. Only negative point is that the room is a bit narrow with 3 beds. Other than that, it’s perfect for my family of 4 (with one sharing existing bed)."

PPengguna Tanpa NamaVery good location. Many parking nearby the hotel. Very near shopping streets and everything. The spa is good.. convenient and very pleace
PPengguna TetamuHotel has the usual amenities at the reception, one will need to take the night gown from the level 1 cabinet. The hotel provide home cooked breakfast which was quite tasty. Not sure if the slippers are clean as they were not in any packaging. Overall good value to price ratio.
PPengguna Tanpa NamaAn excellently located hotel, only approximately three minutes from the train station, with welcoming and professional staff. The room was clean and well appointed with a lovely night view of the city. There are plentiful adjacent shops and restaurants, and the castle is a direct half an hours walk away.
WWathoneI really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location is very convenient, the service was great, and the hotel was clean and quiet. It was a very good experience, and I’m glad I chose this place.
PPengguna TetamuIt's close to Himeji Castle, with supermarket nearby. The facility is clean. The staff recommended walking around Himeji Castle during the night time, it was really nice and beautiful. Staffs are not always around, even drop luggage before check in should be done after 10am, so be aware of check in and check out time.
PPengguna TetamuLocation is really close to train station which I like. Lots of food options around. Himeji castle is a 20 minute walk but you can opt to take a bus if you have walking issues.
The bathroom and toilet is separated. Towels and amenities such as soap, shampoo, toothbrush, and moisturizing lotion are provided.
To be honest we didn't know how to operate the bath pool/jacuzzi, but it was already full when we got there so it was nice. There's a windowsill which allows you to peek inside the soaking area so that was funny. If you're with your spouse it wouldn't matter though.
PPengguna TetamuVery clean hotel with polite and professional staff. The room was comfortable . The location made it easy to explore the area. Great value for the price.
IIrene SheApart from the water supply issue in the room, the rest are perfect. The breakfast was good, and the night views from the hotel was spectacular. The water supply in the room was too slow, and I had to go to the public bathroom for brushing teeth. The staff offered to upgrade us to another room, but we don't like the 2 single beds room so we decided to stay in the one King bedroom that we reserved.
PPengguna TetamuWe had a really good stay here. The hotel is in a great spot, not too far from Himeji station and very easy to get to the castle from there. The highlight for us was definitely the free public bath inside the hotel. It was so relaxing to use the sento after a long day of walking. The room was comfortable and the whole experience was very convenient. We would definitely stay here again.
PPengguna TetamuThe building was extremely old and poorly lit; the reception area, the guest rooms everything felt dim and gloomy. The room slippers were not disposable, which I found unhygienic, so I couldn't bring myself to wear them. Since my room was located right near the elevator, I could clearly hear the sounds of people walking in the hallway; furthermore, even while inside my room, the conversations from neighboring guest rooms were so loud that I couldn't get any sleep at night.
