WwchjasonDaiwa Roynet Hotel Takamatsu is an excellent choice for travelers. The hotel is in a great location, with easy access to shopping streets, restaurants, and public transport. The price is very reasonable for the quality and comfort provided, making it great value for money. Staff are friendly, polite, and helpful throughout the stay, which adds to the overall positive experience. I would happily stay here again when visiting Takamatsu.

WWatcherHotel is dated, but well maintained and very clean. Room is of decent size for what we are paying. Can’t say it is spacious. Location is a good 10 to 15min walk to the Takamatsu port depending on your pace.
Breakfast is a little disappointing with very limited proteins. Western choices also very limited. Paid extra if you don’t pre-booked a day ahead.

Dormy Inn ini, saya hampir tersilap hotel, seolah-olah tidak setanding dengan Dormy Inn lain yang pernah saya menginap. Walaupun ada usaha untuk setanding, tetapi malangnya kekurangan dari segi kemudahan. Namun, mi supper ditambah dengan 1/4 telur masin, sarapan pagi juga boleh tahan, dan penyambut tetamu sangat ramah. Lokasinya mungkin bagus, tetapi kerana tiada rancangan membeli-belah, saya tidak merasainya.

DDaily happyDuring my recent trip to Japan, I had the pleasure of staying at a hotel that also serves as a wedding venue — and from the moment I arrived, the level of service was simply impeccable. The staff were not only gracious and professional, but also went out of their way to assist me at every turn, despite my lack of Japanese language skills. Their warm hospitality left a lasting impression and made me feel truly welcomed and cared for.
Though the room was compact, it was exceptionally clean and thoughtfully arranged. As a solo traveler, I found the space more than sufficient — cozy, comfortable, and a fantastic value for the price. It truly struck the perfect balance between affordability and quality.
A special mention goes to the amenities: the hotel provides a well-stocked amenity station at the reception, where guests can freely pick up whatever they need — a detail that reflects the hotel’s attention to guest convenience.
While the location is a little removed from the city center, this wasn’t an issue at all for me, as I had a rental car. The added bonus? Free parking on-site, which made my stay even more convenient and budget-friendly.
Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in so many ways. With its blend of elegant ambiance, exceptional service, and thoughtful touches, it became a peaceful and comfortable base for my journey — one I would gladly return to and wholeheartedly recommend to fellow travelers.

PPengguna TetamuThe hotel is only a few mins away on foot from JR Takamatsu station. The room (a double-bed room for a single traveler) is small and dated but in terms of cleanness and comfort, it still is quite alright. The hotel offers free drink in the lobby in the evening, which seems to be a common practice nowadays in Japan's business hotels. There are a number of restaurants nearby and the main pedestrian shopping street is also just less than 10 mins away. To sum up, if you need to be near the JR Takamatsu station or Takamastu port for a short stay, this is a very affordable choice. Reminder: if you need to catch airport bus to Takamatsu Airport in the morning, go to the starting stop which is located at the main road outside of the ferry terminals. The bus, in my experience, was fairly empty when I boarded at the starting stop, but quickly filled up after the 3rd stop and you might need to wait for the next one.
