CCarl N.Had an amazing stay at JR Hotel Clement Takamatsu. Everything about this hotel deserves a perfect score. The rooms were spotlessly clean and well-maintained. The location is incredibly convenient — right next to Takamatsu Station, making it super easy to explore the city and nearby attractions like Ritsurin Garden.
The service was top-notch from check-in to check-out. Staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The amenities were impressive as well — comfortable beds, great facilities, and everything you’d expect from a high-quality hotel.
Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Takamatsu. Will definitely be staying here again on our next trip!

WWenWen Hovery happy stay! staff very helpful we are very appreciate, just the staff only can speaks little english, we use the apps translator so still very smooth. from airport to hotel, you can take the limousine bus, ticket buy ar the machine, bus stop just right outside at No.2 platform, has airport staff might guide you, travel time about 20-25 minutes can get there, the stop just right at the hotel, the market street just behind the hotel, Takamatsu shops testaurant closed quite early, most of that closed about 8, just some abit late.. if you want to find dinner restauant must go earlier. many Izakaya (居酒屋) around the hotel but they needs to book reservation, walk in almost full!! Car park is ¥1400 per night, outside car parks is more cheaper but inside the hotel that convenient if you bought some stuff 😆 but only few inside, no advance resersations, its first come first served every night, so u have to go early to get the parking

PPengguna TetamuHotel location is very convenient and close to the centre of the City Centre. We found everything is so nearby with food and wine downstairs. The hotel room size is perfect well kept with clean and tidy care taking. One incident I need to pinpointed out because of the language barrier I went down to front desk asking restaurant reservation assistance from the reception desk, there I met SEO-san who is very rude and impolite (I have to say this is my first time to experience this when I travelled around Japan). This SEO-san who was impatient saying in front of me ”this is the last time I can help you to call the restaurant for dining reservation”. If I know how to speak Japanese I would have done the dining reservation myself, it is very common most of the restaurant would not understand English for table booking. It was my ONLY bad experience ever happened in Japan. Most of the reception desk at hotels would extend this kind of help for foreign hotel guests without any confrontation. Luckily there were some other staff, Ms Yamada and Kozono-san who had given help instead. Therefore, I think SEO is his character problem it is not commonly found in this Japanese hotel industry.

EEWongscapeHotel location is good where closed to the Takamatsu Port (9 min / 2.3km). If you are doing road trip, this hotel has the self owned car park, though the cost is a bit high - 1,500 Yen per night.
During my visit, the Central Park was under construction, however, the view is still fine.
Hot spring as the same across the brand Dormny Inn, very clean, spring water, well management.

GGuest UserDormy Inn ini, saya hampir tersilap hotel, seolah-olah tidak setanding dengan Dormy Inn lain yang pernah saya menginap. Walaupun ada usaha untuk setanding, tetapi malangnya kekurangan dari segi kemudahan. Namun, mi supper ditambah dengan 1/4 telur masin, sarapan pagi juga boleh tahan, dan penyambut tetamu sangat ramah. Lokasinya mungkin bagus, tetapi kerana tiada rancangan membeli-belah, saya tidak merasainya.

WWatcherHotel is dated, but well maintained and very clean. Room is of decent size for what we are paying. Can’t say it is spacious. Location is a good 10 to 15min walk to the Takamatsu port depending on your pace.
Breakfast is a little disappointing with very limited proteins. Western choices also very limited. Paid extra if you don’t pre-booked a day ahead.

DDaily happyDuring my recent trip to Japan, I had the pleasure of staying at a hotel that also serves as a wedding venue — and from the moment I arrived, the level of service was simply impeccable. The staff were not only gracious and professional, but also went out of their way to assist me at every turn, despite my lack of Japanese language skills. Their warm hospitality left a lasting impression and made me feel truly welcomed and cared for.
Though the room was compact, it was exceptionally clean and thoughtfully arranged. As a solo traveler, I found the space more than sufficient — cozy, comfortable, and a fantastic value for the price. It truly struck the perfect balance between affordability and quality.
A special mention goes to the amenities: the hotel provides a well-stocked amenity station at the reception, where guests can freely pick up whatever they need — a detail that reflects the hotel’s attention to guest convenience.
While the location is a little removed from the city center, this wasn’t an issue at all for me, as I had a rental car. The added bonus? Free parking on-site, which made my stay even more convenient and budget-friendly.
Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in so many ways. With its blend of elegant ambiance, exceptional service, and thoughtful touches, it became a peaceful and comfortable base for my journey — one I would gladly return to and wholeheartedly recommend to fellow travelers.

The hotel is a bit dated to my preference but it has everything you need.
It has an air-conditioning installed (not centralized one). So you can choose the temperature as you wish, not having to rely on the hotel's control.
Of course, it depends on which time of year you are visiting as well.
Limited breakfast selection but again, if you can eat anything, you'll be fine.
I think they offer parking spaces, right across the hotel.
Convenient stores are walkable distance.
