Hotel berhampiran Gunung Ohira, Beppu

Saya pernah menginap di hotel di Nara sebelum ini dan sangat menyukainya. Kali ini saya ingin mandi air panas dan mendapati ada juga hotel di Beppu, jadi saya membuat tempahan. Hotel ini terletak di lokasi yang baik, sangat dekat dengan JR dan stesen bas. Kemudahan mata air panas juga sangat baik, dan terdapat juga tempat mandi peribadi yang disediakan. Terdapat kopi percuma di tingkat satu, dan ia adalah milik Hoshino. Terdapat popsikel, yogurt masam, komik dan beberapa buku apabila anda berenang, dan pemandangan laut yang tiada tandingannya. Terdapat juga ramen kicap dari pukul 10 malam hingga 11 malam. Saya pasti akan memilih tempat ini lagi jika saya ingin mandi air panas pada masa akan datang. Kadang-kadang, lif penuh sesak apabila kumpulan pelancong tiba bersama-sama, tetapi ini bukan masalah besar dan rumah mandian tidak begitu sesak.

Lokasi hotel ini agak dekat dengan Stesen Beppu, kira-kira lima minit berjalan kaki. Terdapat banyak pilihan makanan dan minuman di sekitar, jadi mudah untuk bergerak. Kebersihan hotel sangat memuaskan, dengan bilik mandi yang direka untuk pemisahan kering dan basah, menjadikannya mudah jika anda melancong dengan kanak-kanak!

The room and the Onsen were EXACTLY like those in the listing and were absolutely stunning! The breakfast was delicious and the range more than adequate. The location is good if you drive but is about 1km walk to Beppu Tower and a bit more from the night street. But I’d happily trade that for the spacious room and the wonderful sea and sunrise view.

В отеле приятное общественное пространство на первом этаже, с ресепшен и кухней. Персонал очень приветлив и готов помочь. Спасибо за рекомендации по заведениям с едой. После 22:00 вход по пин-коду на ключах. Номер огромный, с тремя кроватями, большая уборная и душ. Все довольно аскетично, но комфортно и чисто. Лифт на этажи очень быстро закрывает двери, успейте зайти) В целом хороший бюджетный вариант переночевать 👍 если не искать изысков.

I had a wonderful stay at Apartment Hotel Yaezaki. From the moment I arrived, the service stood out — the staff were exceptionally polite, professional, and attentive, making the entire experience feel welcoming and effortless. One of the pleasant surprises was the availability of free drinks, a thoughtful touch that added comfort and convenience throughout my stay. The onsen with a beautiful view was truly a highlight. It offered a relaxing atmosphere and a scenic backdrop that made each visit feel rejuvenating. My room was spotlessly clean and impressively new, reflecting the hotel’s high standards and attention to detail. It was a comfortable space that made me feel right at home. Overall, Apartment Hotel Yaezaki is a great choice for anyone seeking excellent service, modern rooms, and a memorable onsen experience. I would gladly stay here again.

Pros: The hostel is clean and provides a drink bar with hot and cold beverages including soups. They also have mangas and a few video games provided. The room is spacious and comfortable. Cons: The location is about 10-15 mins from the Beppu station, but close to Donki Beppu and convenient stores. However, they DO NOT support early or late check-in. They asked us to leave the baggage unchecked and unattended when we arrived early. The point where we disappointed was the notification of the check-in time. Most hotels/ hostels in Japan support early or late check-in but seems like they don’t have enough staff for that. We didn’t realize the the check-in is required by 8pm. They called us around 7:10pm-ish to inform the check-in deadline time. And we tried to negotiate cuz we was very far away and was in the mountains. We called them back cuz we tried to speed up but it almost caused an accident. The answer we got was NOT SUPPORTIVE. They only said customers had to read the check-in time on the website (Trip.com) and they couldn’t wait even we said we would be late for 5-10 minutes at the fastest pace of our journey. Luckily, there was a group of customers who was checking when we arrived (20:05 pm) so we could check-in.

Amazing service by Yoshi san of Dining, Amy of Front Desk. The hotel is small with limited facilities but they try their best to create activities with guest engagements such as morning exercise, sake drinking for free, onsen water lab education, music entertainment and some games for guests to enjoy. Highly recommended.

good value for money! would definitely stay again location: it's relatively further from the station , around a 8-10min walk. there is a 7-11 just around the corner room: my room came without a bathroom but for the ladies are 3 cubicles shared among the 7 mix gendered guests on the floor. i did not have to wait in line at all. there was more than enough space in the room to open my suitcase wide and still feel comfortable. bed and pillow was a bit hard though, and you can hear anyone talking loudly downstairs outside the building as the room is on 2nd floor, tho that doesnt happen very often. food: amazing balanced breakfast that changes everyday - really delicious! onsen: the one on 2F was smaller than 1F, but very good and comfortable. clean too. you can book a private onsen room for 500yen (50mins) staff: all of them were super friendly, helpful and made me feel welcome. there are english-proficient staff available 24H as well :)

This ryokan is located at the top of a hill and it's very quiet Place is huge and you have a private onsen though the water is scorching hot Need to put a lot of cold water so that the onsen can be used Tough part is that the leaves keep falling from outside into the onsen and you have to use the net to catch it Another issue is check-in latest is by 6pm (otherwise there's no front desk) If you are ok with the check-in constraints, then this place is pretty good

The location is very strategic, right in front of Beppu Station, which makes it very convenient for getting around. However, the experience at reception was quite frustrating. The front desk was handled by an elderly staff member who could not speak English, making communication difficult. Even after I showed my check-in voucher and passport, he repeatedly said he could not find my reservation. I suspect this may have been because my name was written in English characters while their system uses Japanese or maybe he’s very old and cannot see the name clearly from his computer. I also provided my reservation ID, but he still couldn’t locate the booking at first. To make matters worse, he was the only staff member there and was frequently answering phone calls, which delayed the process further. In total, I spent almost an hour resolving the issue, and it was only after some back-and-forth that he finally managed to find my reservation. Additionally, the hotel had informed Trip.com that parking was available in the same building, but upon arrival, I was given a map and asked to park elsewhere. The instructions were unclear and difficult to understand. The cleanliness could be improved, as the toilet was slightly dirty and the room had an unpleasant smell, possibly due to the traditional Japanese-style tatami flooring. However, the room itself looked nice, and they did provide towels and all the necessary toiletries, which was a plus.
