Hotel berhampiran Stesen Nada, Kobe

Beautiful hotel with top notch and warm service staff. Dinner and breakfast was good not to mention the fantastic onsen experience which was the main reason we came here. Last but not least, one of the staff personal noticed that I wasn’t feeling well and offered to me some painkillers. Overall, great and memorable experience!

Saya bertukar ke hotel ini pada saat-saat akhir kerana lokasinya yang selesa. Tanpa diduga, ia benar-benar melebihi jangkaan saya! Beberapa kejutan: Lokasinya lebih mudah daripada yang saya bayangkan. Banyak kedai terkenal berada dalam jarak 5 minit berjalan kaki, apatah lagi kereta bawah tanah, yang terletak di tingkat bawah. Sangat mudah untuk ke Kyoto keesokan harinya; Wanita di meja depan memberi saya hotel bertingkat tinggi. Pemandangannya bagus. Saya melihat matahari terbenam ketika saya mendaftar masuk. Tidak perlu pergi ke Gunung Rokko. Ia juga sangat tenang dan kalis bunyi, tidak ada bunyi sama sekali pada waktu malam; Kemudahan bilik adalah sangat baru dan pintar. Walaupun kawasannya kecil, terdapat butiran tersembunyi di mana-mana (seperti cermin penuh di sudut, almari pakaian di dinding TV, dll.); Akhirnya, peralatan tempat tidur juga sangat baik. Saya memilih katil dan bantal, tetapi saya mempunyai tidur yang terbaik sepanjang perjalanan di sini. Hotel is in a convenient location nearby the metro station. If you want to stay away from the sun and stay underground, from the Sannomiya metro station, looking for the West 3 exit which may take a walk for about 8 mins underground. The hotel is within walking distance like 5 minutes from the West 3 exit. However, it's better to prepare yourself climbing up a long staircase with your luggages. Hotel facilities is well designed, new and in good conditions. Big window in the guest room is very comfortable while sitting at the specially designed little sitting corner looking at the sky outside. Though the room is small, it is well designed. Space can be used effectively. I can say, small but good. Happy hour for free ice-cream and coffee is a highlight from 20:00-22:00. Staff are friendly, helpful and patient. English communication is ok. Staff are willing to spend effort fulfilling customer's request. You can easily feel their enthusiasm on work and professionalism. Comparing to the hotels nearby, this hotel sounds to be the best choice I have made.

Had my first night stay here at Sannomiya Kobe, took an airport limo bus to Sannomiya station and it was just a 10min stroll to the hotel, my previous japan experience was from AirBNB, but this hotel stay at Sotetsu Sannomiya changed my perception! Although I stayed for only 1 night in there, I managed to explore nearby places and even tried Kobe Beef for the first time ever! Hotel is super clean, you can refill the toiletries as and when needed, they are just right at level 1. Check in was seemless, check out as well! There is also a laundry service, microwave and vending machine at level 2. Bedding and cleaniness is top notch! Will highly recommend this hotel to many other travellers!

Overall, our stay was good, especially the location. The room is a bit old but still well maintained. However, we were not happy with one aspect of the service. A staff member (possibly a manager or senior from the F&B team) was not very professional and came across as quite rude. He physically blocked us from entering the breakfast area without listening to our explanation. We clearly mentioned that our friend was already inside and had a table, and we were just trying to confirm the table number. However, he insisted we go to Level 1 for breakfast and did not allow us to explain further. We had to go back and forth between the lift, trying to contact our friend, which was quite frustrating. Only after we showed him a photo did he finally allow us to enter. What surprised us most was that the restaurant was actually quite empty, with many available tables. We don’t understand why we were told it was full and asked to go elsewhere. We hope the hotel can improve staff communication and professionalism to avoid similar situations in the future.

Very spacious room, able to open multiple large suitcases. Close to train station and many restaurants and shops. Staff are helpful. Carpark was always full, so had to park at a further carpark although at the same fixed rate.

Excellent location - you can even go to the downtown on foot. Right on the Shin-Kobe station, which means 5mins walking from Shinkansen. Super beautiful city lights in the evening. Strongly recommended!

Location is great as it is practically adjacent to the Sannomiya train station. However, there is a major scale construction going on now, right exactly in front of the hotel and if you are not observant, it could easily slip your sight. Also note there are two Tokyu Rei hotels nearby each other and if you are taking a taxi from Shin Kobe station, remember to clearly specify the destination is Sannomiya Tokyu Rei and not the nearby one in Moto Machi which the driver brought us to. As is typical of most hotels in Japan, even though we had a twin room, space was rather limited and we barely had enough to even open up a medium size luggage bag let alone two. A big plus point was food options were everywhere and all within walking distance, with many eateries just directly behind the hotel and more as you walk down the main road leading to a row of various restaurants and various eateries for all budgets. Check-in was of the touch machine kind which is typical of Japan now and staff were at hand to help and guide along. They were also especially helpful providing useful information as to where to go for a good meal and how to get to other places of interests. Given the proximity to train station, the food options around and the price we paid, Kobe Sannomiya Tokyu Rei is a good choice for a stay in Kobe.

The hotel offers a convenient location, especially for those using the metro, as it is closer to metro station than JR lines. The breakfast selection is impressive, with a wide variety of options that cater to different taste. However, one point to note is that the breakfast charge of JPY700 applies even for young children. In our case, my 6-year-old did not eat much, so the value felt limited. Overall, the stay was comfortable, and the location and breakfast variety are definite highlights
