PPengguna TetamuIt is a wonderful hotel, a peaceful place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the nature, onsens and exclusively excellent Kaisai dinner. You can book two private onsens per 1 day (e.g. one in the evening and 1 in the morning) and also 1 private stay in sauna. You can spend time together with your couple. Public onsens are almost free all the time, so you can enjoy them either. We really loved our stay, the hospitality of all staff and free transfer provided. I have looked through many hotels, but this was the best with quality price ratio.

PPengguna Tanpa NamaTitle: Squeaky Clean and Good Storage, But Be Aware of Strict Cashless Fees and Missing Essentials Review: I recently stayed at the Sotetsu Fresa Inn Kobe Sannomiya. While the hardware of the hotel is good, certain policies and service gaps significantly impacted the comfort of my stay. On the positive side, the hygiene standards here are excellent. The room was spotless and very modern, which is always the most critical factor for me when traveling. I also want to express my appreciation for the luggage keeping arrangement. Being able to store my bags securely and easily both before check-in and after check-out was a huge help, allowing me to explore Kobe freely without the burden of heavy luggage. However, international travelers need to be aware of a major caveat: this is a strictly ”cashless” hotel. I attempted to pay with cash to avoid bank fees, but was refused. I was forced to use my VISA card, which meant I was hit with foreign transaction and exchange fees that amounted to roughly an extra 5% cost on my trip. I found this policy very rigid and frustrating for guests who prefer using cash. Furthermore, the in-room amenities and service were disappointing. Guests should know that the rooms are completely bare of essentials—there are no razors, toothbrushes, or toothpaste provided in the room. Realizing this late at night caused unnecessary trouble. Additionally, the housekeeping service lacked attention to detail; even though my Yukata (sleepwear) was clearly used and left out to be changed, the staff did not replace it with a fresh one. Overall, Sotetsu Fresa Inn offers a very clean environment, but the lack of basic in-room amenities and the strict payment policy make it difficult for me to fully recommend it to travelers trying to manage their budget and convenience.

HHosanna SpringsVery good service provided by the staff of the hotel. Sleeping robe, shaver, comb, tooth brush and tooth paste is provided free. There is a self-service laundry room, which costs 500Yen for 3 kg load, 2 hours. Hotel is very near to the Sannomiya train station and there are supermarkets, Daiso, restaurants, and a bowling centre just next door. Perfect for families. The room is very big and comes with 4 beds. Ample space to open 3 luggage bags and walk around. Love the hair dryer provided in the room!

The hotel is conveniently located right next to Meriken Park, making it ideal for a relaxing stroll or sightseeing. It also provides a shuttle service to and from Sannomiya. Do note that the pick-up and drop-off points are at different locations, and the shuttle bus departs punctually. The room is spacious, which adds to the overall comfort of the stay.

PPengguna Tanpa NamaNot sure what has happened to Japan standard in the past couple of years but had called the hotel to confirm that linens are scent free (standard in Japan before) and was told yes. Unfortunately they are not, this new laundry detergent that is slowly spreading throughout Japan is absolutely horrible causing all sorts of allergic reactions (not only to me.) I start having rashes, compromised breathing, and inflammation issues. If it’s the same detergent used back in America, then it might be eco-friendly, but definitely not human friendly. I truly hope that Japan goes back to the way it was before the introduction of some western products filled with harmful chemicals to humans. It is not because you don’t react to it that it is not harming your body, it’s only a question of time and when it does, you won’t know why and there is no turning back. Take it from an Asian American born who was the biggest fan of American marketed products. We do have good products like ECOLAB, which is both, sustainable for the environment without compromising human health. Maybe laundry company should look into that company or simply return to Japanese products before. Good thing thing their pyjama are still scent free so I had to wrap the bed and cover with their pyjama to get through the night.

LL W CI found the rooms surprisingly spacious and comfortable for Japan, easily accommodating my needs with great lighting and bedding. I was impressed by the excellent cleanliness and appreciated the professional, English-speaking staff who helped me with local tips and luggage. While I enjoyed the convenient facilities like the private bath areas and free amenities, I did notice some areas where the hotel could update older fixtures or be more consistent with daily maintenance.

PPengguna TetamuLocation is great as it is practically adjacent to the Sannomiya train station. However, there is a major scale construction going on now, right exactly in front of the hotel and if you are not observant, it could easily slip your sight. Also note there are two Tokyu Rei hotels nearby each other and if you are taking a taxi from Shin Kobe station, remember to clearly specify the destination is Sannomiya Tokyu Rei and not the nearby one in Moto Machi which the driver brought us to. As is typical of most hotels in Japan, even though we had a twin room, space was rather limited and we barely had enough to even open up a medium size luggage bag let alone two. A big plus point was food options were everywhere and all within walking distance, with many eateries just directly behind the hotel and more as you walk down the main road leading to a row of various restaurants and various eateries for all budgets. Check-in was of the touch machine kind which is typical of Japan now and staff were at hand to help and guide along. They were also especially helpful providing useful information as to where to go for a good meal and how to get to other places of interests. Given the proximity to train station, the food options around and the price we paid, Kobe Sannomiya Tokyu Rei is a good choice for a stay in Kobe.

Mmaymaymay33A fine hostel. No lift, so you'll have to haul your luggage up at least 4 flights of stairs. Towels are available only for rental. I didn't see much of the staff. The space was very clean, I stayed for two nights and there were only a couple other people. A little expensive for what it is, though I think prices in late December tend to be higher
