PPengguna TetamuWonderful hotel with excellent staff. We stayed for 9 days. The room was quite spacious and quiet, and there's a cozy lounge. The hotel is very conveniently located: a direct bus to Haneda Airport stops nearby, the subway entrance is right next door, and looking at the map, the area to the left features Western and Japanese establishments, to the right is Chinatown, and above is the waterfront and port with walking paths. It takes about an hour to reach Tokyo Station by subway. This is probably the best place I've stayed so far in the greater Tokyo area, even though it's technically a suburb.

EErik ChiangI recently had the pleasure of staying at the JR-East Hotel Mets Yokohama Tsurumi, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The location is incredibly convenient, especially for travelers looking to explore Yokohama or needing easy access to Tokyo. Being right next to Tsurumi Station makes it incredibly easy to get around without relying too much on taxis or long walks.
The room itself was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. Though not overly spacious, it made efficient use of space, ensuring a pleasant stay. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless.
What stood out most was the exceptional service provided by the staff. They were always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The complimentary breakfast offered a nice variety of both Japanese and Western options, which was a great way to start the day.
If I had to find any fault, it would be that the hotel is located in a quieter part of Yokohama, which might not suit everyone's taste. However, for me, it added to the charm and made for a peaceful retreat after busy days of sightseeing.
Overall, I highly recommend the JR-East Hotel Mets Yokohama Tsurumi for its comfort, convenience, and outstanding hospitality. It offers excellent value for money and is a fantastic choice for anyone visiting the Yokohama area.

PPengguna Tanpa NamaExcellent luxury hotel strategically located in Yokohama. Beautiful rooms overlooking the bay and amusement park. Rooms are renovated and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Parking at the mall zone A is closest to the hotel and overnight parking is 2100 Yen pay at front desk for exit ticket.

Terdapat kedai serbaneka, Family Mart dan kafe di sebelah hotel, menjadikannya sangat mudah.
Perkhidmatan penghantaran seperti perkhidmatan kurier juga disediakan di kaunter penerimaan tetamu, termasuk kotak kadbod. Yang bestnya, kakitangannya hebat.
Lokasinya sempurna, dan ia tidak terlalu jauh dari Stesen Yokohama, jadi saya dapat bergerak dengan lancar.
Saya ingin menginap di hotel ini apabila saya pergi dalam perjalanan perniagaan ke Yokohama.

GGopinathaanStayed here recently — great value and a really charming, retro-style room interior that felt unique and cozy. Clean, comfortable, and well-kept. Best feature: it’s only a 3-minute walk to Shin-Yokohama Station, which made getting around incredibly easy. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance, so dining options are plentiful. Would recommend for budget-conscious travelers who appreciate a nostalgic design and convenient location.

PPengguna Tanpa NamaConvenient location and clean. Great amenities like toothbrush, towels, pjs and slippers were provided, as well as there being makeup cleanser, toner and location in the ladies washroom. Check in and check out was easy.
Note that there is no longer luggage storage after check out, and the sauna/baths are men-only.
I also had requested a bottom bunk but had received a top one, and found the bottom bunk to be unused the morning after which was disappointing.
There are lockers, but they are skinny, so suitcases have to go into the separate luggage storage room, which were overfilled. Many had to resort to leaving their luggage outside of that door (unsafe).
As is to be expected of a capsule hotel, the soundproofing is poor and the capsule bunks squeak.

TthesoleconceptFirst time in Japan, so I chose this hotel based on location and price, with my desire for higher floor rooms for a view. I stayed near Shinagawa station, and also in Osaka, all with the same budget per night. This hotel was the best of the 3, very nice facilities and amenities (7/11 in the lobby!!), with a spacious room. I'd probably pass on the buffet breakfast next time, but that's just me, there was a wide selection for everyone. I would definitely stay here again if I'm in that area.

DDavid K T SoHotel location supposed to be good as it is adjacent to Yokohama Station. However, there is no direct connection between the hotel and the underground mall, I have to lift 3 heavy luggages from train station level (B2) up the stairs in the Joinus underground mall south exit 12. That alone have killed me. I think the hotel avoid telling customers about this great disadvantage. Even after entering the hotel, the front reception is another tens of stairs down to 1F like a split level building, which was extremely inconvenient! The hotel is like travelling back in time to the 70's, almost antique in today's standard. Room key is not a card type but a physical metal key! Room was still spacious (mine was triple room) but having no modern amenities, not enough power outlet for phone charging and/or computer. No storage or drawers, bathroom was extremely small and crowded. My booking included buffet breakfast, which was a surprise, food selection was good, but there were not many customers, one morning my family virtually was thw only table in the entire grand dining room! I can say I have mixed feeling about this hotel, if you have many luggages and arrived by train, think twice as you have to lift your luggages up 34 stairs from B2 to ground level.

JJiateng初めての予約だったので、入室するまで少し手間取る場面がありましたが、すぐに対応して頂いたので不都合はなかったです。宿泊料金が安いので、その分観光にお金をかける事が出来ました。近くにコンビニや飲食店、駐車場もあり快適でした。
