EExplorer2023We stayed at the penthouse which oversaw the whole Nara city and its cherry blossoms so the view from the room is spectacular. The room has a private outdoor bathtub which is available 24/7. It was so nice to take a hot bath outdoor with the view of Nara. The penthouse also has a fireplace which is a nice spot at night for sky glazing.

__M1396219****酒店地理位置優越，走5分鐘就是近鐵站，美食、葯粧、便利店鱗次櫛比，門口還有可愛的小鹿向你點頭鞠躬。日式風格的房間很大很漂亮，還自帶一個小陽台，工作人員都很熱情，酒店大堂一位講中文的先生特別耐心、周到地為我們解介酒店服務和周邊環境。早上自助餐讓我記憶深刻，精緻、美味、可口。以後還會再來住，也會建議好朋友來住。

To me, it’s luxury because of the hospitality of the staff, quality of the property and the food they provided totally exceed travellers’ expectations, and as a result, we would love to pay more for the experience.
Some staff really tried their very best to help me during my stay while some just didn’t. Upon arrival, I tried to communicate with the staff that I’d like to cancel my third night’s dinner because of the change of my plan. At first, I booked six meals in total and I’d only want to cancel one dinner and they said I needed to pay 100% for the cancelled meal because they have already bought the ingredients. Okay, I tried to understand that because they had already taken away my credit card and there’s nothing I could do about that and I thought it must be a very nice meal and that’s why they insisted that. Disappointingly, the portion was so small and paying the same amount of money I could get so much better food in 虹夕諾雅 or any other five star onsen hotels in Japan. As a result, I went to bed feeling hungry and eating the snacks I bought for myself :( The food portions are like a bento instead of a proper meal. )
Also, the Western style breakfast was so overpriced and the avocado in the omelette was not fresh at all.
One more thing to note is that the complimentary champagne service they provided to their guests. It’s a nice experience but maybe I’m just a lady travelling alone and I couldn’t speak Japanese at all, the waitress didn’t serve me the same way as she served other people in the cafe. When all of them got two glasses of free drinks, one cocktail and one champagne, she only gave me one champagne and didn’t offer me the cocktail. And the day after, there was a nice staff who served me properly and I finally realized that I am entitled to two drinks.
(Sigh)The experience was like buying a Chanel bag. The bag was pricey but the chain of the bag just suddenly fall apart
while you are using it for the very first time. My advice is: Don’t use their catering services especially for the in-room dining plan. There are so many better choices out there in the city. The room and the service of the staff are great tho.

DDallas GohThis has to be my favourite hotel in Japan. Firstly, the hotel is close to Nara Station, about a 3 minutes walk away. Room is spacious, and plenty of free consumables provided in the lobby. Filtered water dispenser is also available at the lobby. I think there was some food or snacks provided at night, but I came back to the hotel too late, only to find an empty tray with crumbs only.
Breakfast is a mix of traditional Japanese cuisine and Western breakfast items, and I was super impressed with the Japanese style breakfast! Please, you have to try the breakfast if you’re staying here.

KKay ChHotel is new, room and facilities are fantastic. View from the roof terrace is great! Also thankful for the free shuttle bus to the train station.
We have the dinner and breakfast package. Restaurant seems under staffed. We have to wait for empty plates to be replenised in buffet area. During breakfast time, there is long queue for food and often empty plates.

PPengguna Tetamu1. The room is really clean, Air from A/C was also clean, large table in the room facing the TV is a really helpful design.
2. The Outdoor onsen is great
3. The Welcome Bar is a new experience for me, it really blends the speakeasy bar with the feeling of a 'home-base' to get your bearing for the next day.
4. The staff Watanabe-san's hospitality is 5-star top notch.
Will definitely come again.

EeddiehappyA hotel full of history as it has been the chosen venue for important events in Nara. Many celebrities had stayed in this hotel including Albert Einstein. Tried the rice lager at the tea house which is very good tgough some may find it not strong enough. The vicinity is nice. It is within waljing distance of the famous Nara Park. The room is spacious. Shuttle bus service to Nara station is excellent. Very helpful staff. An enjoyable stay indeed!

PPengguna Tetamu1. Reception, Lobby, Restaurants and all public areas were impressive although I did not have any meals in the hotel.
2.Service at the reception counter was good and extremely helpful.
3.Room 1049 was clean but a bit disappointing for a twin room for a Nikko hotel. The toilet and furnishing has lost the glitter through the years.
4.There were no USB ports available so charging electronic devices was a challenge although reception was helpful in providing adapters which enabled me to charge some of all my devices.
5.The next night I checked into another twin room in a Nikko Hotel, this time into The Hotel Nikko Himeji and it brings me memories of my previous stays in a Nikko Hotel.

В номере был чайник, чай, стаканчики пластиковые (что неудобно), фен, сушилка для белья, ванные принадлежности, много полотенец. Но на ярусном этаже где кровать очень пыльно. Всё окно и занавески в пыли. Приложила фото.
