Hotel berhampiran Kuil Yashima, Takamatsu

We booked a double room, but upon arrival we were given a very small room with two single beds. There was minimal space between the beds, and overall the room did not match what we had booked. Before our arrival, we submitted a request to the hotel asking for a double bed instead of two single beds. Trip.com indicated that our request had been forwarded to the hotel. However, when we checked in, the staff told us that they had not received such a request and refused to change the beds to a double bed. They also said that an extra charge per night would be required to provide a double bed. This was disappointing, as we had booked a double room and the request had been marked as handled on our side. This was the first time we experienced an issue like this for such a simple request, and we were quite disappointed with the service. In addition, the size of the bathroom was very small. It was not practical for two people to be in the bathroom at the same time, which further affected the comfort of our stay. We hope you will look into this matter and improve the handling of bed-type requests for future guests. Thank you.

very happy stay! staff very helpful we are very appreciate, just the staff only can speaks little english, we use the apps translator so still very smooth. from airport to hotel, you can take the limousine bus, ticket buy ar the machine, bus stop just right outside at No.2 platform, has airport staff might guide you, travel time about 20-25 minutes can get there, the stop just right at the hotel, the market street just behind the hotel, Takamatsu shops testaurant closed quite early, most of that closed about 8, just some abit late.. if you want to find dinner restauant must go earlier. many Izakaya (居酒屋) around the hotel but they needs to book reservation, walk in almost full!! Car park is ¥1400 per night, outside car parks is more cheaper but inside the hotel that convenient if you bought some stuff 😆 but only few inside, no advance resersations, its first come first served every night, so u have to go early to get the parking

Dormy Inn ini, saya hampir tersilap hotel, seolah-olah tidak setanding dengan Dormy Inn lain yang pernah saya menginap. Walaupun ada usaha untuk setanding, tetapi malangnya kekurangan dari segi kemudahan. Namun, mi supper ditambah dengan 1/4 telur masin, sarapan pagi juga boleh tahan, dan penyambut tetamu sangat ramah. Lokasinya mungkin bagus, tetapi kerana tiada rancangan membeli-belah, saya tidak merasainya.

Although it takes more time to get this hotel than the other hotels which just build surround the JR station, it's had big clean rooms and modern facilities. It's a worth to go, and this hotel is super close to the restaurant and shopping area, it's a nice experience to live there.

The on-site bathhouse is spotless and even offers free ice cream, which was a delightful surprise. Breakfast is incredibly rich and varied, with something for everyone. Overall, a fantastic stay — I’d definitely come back!

Good place for discovery of Takamatsu and the island. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Good temporary luggage storage.  (Have a coffee at Mini nearby!) Uno might be slightly better placed to visit most islands, other than Megijima and Ogijima.

1日目は朝食にうどん、2日目はパン食をチョイス。どちらも量的には足らないが、近所のうどんを食べるなど工夫はしようがある。夕食注文で現地の名物は全て賄えそうで、イチオシはそれかも知れない。生憎タイミング合わずで有り付けずでした。 近所は栗林公園、朝早くから入れますが、建屋の開放は９時からのようです。一時間以上は楽しめる良い公園。

The hotel is only a few mins away on foot from JR Takamatsu station. The room (a double-bed room for a single traveler) is small and dated but in terms of cleanness and comfort, it still is quite alright. The hotel offers free drink in the lobby in the evening, which seems to be a common practice nowadays in Japan's business hotels. There are a number of restaurants nearby and the main pedestrian shopping street is also just less than 10 mins away. To sum up, if you need to be near the JR Takamatsu station or Takamastu port for a short stay, this is a very affordable choice. Reminder: if you need to catch airport bus to Takamatsu Airport in the morning, go to the starting stop which is located at the main road outside of the ferry terminals. The bus, in my experience, was fairly empty when I boarded at the starting stop, but quickly filled up after the 3rd stop and you might need to wait for the next one.

We are group of 7 peoples and require documents for claiming insurance due to typhoon in hk and delay our flight. The staff at reception, Nhu speaks good English and is very helpful in preparing our documents. Appreciate her effort to add credit to our stay.

I was able to get my own room which was a big bonus at a similar price to the dorm room. Get here NOW! Don't wait!
