"The receptionist was very nice. We arrived at 10 AM and were allowed to check in early, which we really appreciated. The room was a bit small for two people with medium sized suitcases, but it was very clean and well-maintained. Housekeeping does not automatically replace the bed sheets or bathrobes every day unless you request it. However, towels are replaced daily. When booking, I requested a room that was not on the corner, but we were assigned a corner room instead. However, this was not a major issue. There are 2 convenience stores next to the hotel, making it easy to buy anything you need. The hotel is also conveniently located near a bus stop and Gongdeok Station (Exit 1). If you're traveling with large luggage, there is an elevator at Exit 5, although you'll need to cross the street to access it. Overall, we had a very nice stay."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Stay at Roynet Hotel Mapo — Great Location & Wonderful Upgrade! We had a fantastic stay at Roynet Hotel Mapo during our family trip to Seoul. The location near Mapo/Gongdeok station is absolutely perfect — easy access to the subway made exploring the city effortless, from Gyeongbokgung Palace to Hongdae and Myeongdong. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a Premium Room, which was spacious, well-appointed and very comfortable for our family of four. The room was spotlessly clean with modern amenities and a lovely view. The highlight was access to the Executive Lounge — a wonderful bonus that we truly appreciated. The lounge offered a relaxed atmosphere, great refreshments, and attentive service. It made our mornings and evenings so much more enjoyable, especially with two kids in tow! The staff throughout were warm, professional and incredibly helpful — nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast spread was impressive with a good variety of Korean and Western options. Mapo is a great neighbourhood — safe, vibrant and full of great dining options just steps from the hotel. Would highly recommend Roynet Hotel Mapo for families visiting Seoul. We will definitely be back! 🇰🇷"

"Definitely get location advantage, very close to two different underground stations and bus stops, thats why i could never leave mapo district everytime i visit Seoul. The hotel room is spacious though you can tell the hotel is quite aged, the facilities shd have been renovated so my stay here was great. Service was great as well, offered sufficient and efficient service in timely manner. The only flaws here are the weak noise isolation that you can hear people talking in the corridor, second one is the lift arrangement, the notice board indicating “higher floor” and “lower floor” did not ease the long waiting time for the lifts. I had once waited nearly 5mins for lift while the staff also waiting to use the guest lifts for guests luggage transfers. And too many Chinese stays at this hotel they don’t know how to queue. Wish there could be staff manage the queue during peak hours."

"My friend and I stayed here during our trip to Korea, and we had a wonderful experience. It’s actually not easy to find a clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced hotel in the Yeongdeungpo area, but this place exceeded our expectations. The room was spotless, the beds were very comfortable, and everything was well maintained. The hotel was quiet at night, so we slept really well. The staff were kind and welcoming, and the check-in process was smooth. The location was also very convenient, with restaurants, convenience stores, and public transportation nearby. It was a great base for exploring Seoul. We were very satisfied with our stay and would definitely choose this hotel again on our next trip to Korea. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable place to stay in Yeongdeungpo!"

"Menginap di sini 6D pada April 2025. Bilik yang sangat bagus dengan pemandangan Namsan atau Sungai Han yang hebat. Kakitangan sangat prihatin dan boleh bercakap dalam bahasa Inggeris. Bilik dengan katil berkembar menghadap ke Namsan (timur laut). Bilik dengan katil double menghadap Sungai Han (barat daya). Pusat beli-belah ET Land yang berdekatan (5minit berjalan kaki) adalah syurga untuk AV, Elektronik, telefon bimbit, peralatan rumah. 5-7minit berjalan kaki ke Stesen Yongsan & IPARK Mall mempunyai banyak pilihan makanan & membeli-belah. Akses kad ketik ke lantai menyediakan keselamatan & ketenangan fikiran."

"Bilik agak luas. Kelengkapan mandian berkualiti. Lokasi bagus. Ada CU mini di belakang hotel dan CU besar di seberang jalan. Restoran samgyetang yang terkenal terletak di sebelah. Stesen kereta api bawah tanah Hongdae boleh dicapai dalam 3 minit berjalan kaki, manakala stesen Laluan Kereta Api Ekspres Lapangan Terbang Hongdae pula 10 minit berjalan kaki. Terdapat beberapa OYO dan banyak pilihan makanan berhampiran. Mudah untuk mendapatkan teksi melalui Uber."

"Decent location within walking distance to the National Assembly subway station, but no sheltered drop-off point to enter the hotel (I was caught in a cold heavy rain unfortunately). Male receptionist was superficial and not even making efforts to pretend he was service-oriented, forgot his name but I think he's the only male service staff at the lobby area. Staff probably need to brush up on their English communication skills."
