"We chose this hotel primarily because of its location. From the guard who assist us in the parking, to the bellboy, the receptionist, the housekeeping, everyone is up to their toes. Rooms, well just the right size for us. Cleanliness, ok Basic toiletries are available Water is available in the hallway Towels and linen are new and smells good Easy check in and check out. Will surely book in the future"

"I like the standard room, it' s good for 2 persons although the leg room is quite limited but over all it is ok. The place is serene and calm, it is ideal for middle aged and persons who like a quiet place to stay. And to top it all, there is a huge park outside where you can jog early in the morning or in the afternoon. I like the experience"

"This hotel may not be a luxury five-star property, but for its category, it’s definitely one of the better places to stay. The rooms were clean, well maintained, and all the appliances were working properly, which made the stay comfortable and hassle-free. The location is also very convenient since it’s just walking distance to Pryce Tower and nearby establishments. One thing to note is that the hotel doesn’t have an elevator, so if your room is on the upper floors, expect a bit of exercise. They also don’t serve full meals, but they do provide free coffee and bread at the lobby. Luckily, there are plenty of restaurants and food spots nearby, so finding something to eat is very easy."

"Very nice and clean , we sleep comfortably and we love the location, near everything especially foods and fast food with 24 hours open, I hope I discover this hotel sooner but we loved our stay and surely gonna stay again when we have another vacation soon"

"The hotel is clean and in a great location, making it convenient to get around and access nearby attractions. The staff were friendly, and the room was comfortable. The only downside was the breakfast, which had limited options and could be improved by offering a wider variety of food. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and I would consider staying here again."

"Decent location if you have rented your personal transport; not really good of a location if you didn't. Basically It's a gated small village with a security, but inside a city. The whole place is relatively small 7-8 rooms hotel, with a shared yard where the restaurant (having non-guest clients as well though not much due to a secluded placement) and effectively the hall are; most of the workers are young girls; so the overall atmosphere is a relaxed camaraderie. As for the Davao City, the kitchen here is both tasty and competitively priced so basically most of the time you don't even have to leave the place to just live. Most of the guests are older male caucasians."

"At first check-in we had an issue with our room. The room looked very old and dated the air-conditioning wasn’t working and the Wi-Fi was non-existent. I raised a complaint to 8 am the next morning. It took two 8 pm to follow the same day for them to rectify this and move as to another room. This room was outstanding. The air-conditioning was working. It was modern better looking not as tight as the other room, there was room either side of the bed to get in as the other room you could only get in one side of the bed as the bed was against the wall so this new room was a lot better. The only issue with the Hotel was the Wi-Fi was extremely rubbish non-existent would be the better word but this was the only issue that we had in our day. Everything else was perfect from the cleanliness to the staff and the buffet breakfast was acceptable just not much choice for the Western pallet but for a Filipino it was okay"

"We stayed at Red Planet Davao for 2 nights. Overall, the hotel room was clean, and we appreciated how nice and accommodating the front desk staff were during check-in. The location and cleanliness made our stay comfortable. However, we had one issue during our first night. I had a sudden gout flare-up when we arrived, and the pain became unbearable to the point that I couldn’t walk. My partner had to go down to buy medicine and dinner for us. Since only one key card was given at check-in (which is also needed to keep the room power and aircon on), he asked the front desk for another key. Unfortunately, they said only the person whose name was under the booking could request it. Even after explaining that I could not walk due to a health issue, they still required my signature first. He had to go back upstairs, get the paper signed, and then return downstairs again. In an urgent situation, this process felt very time-consuming and frustrating. My suggestion for improvement would be to proactively offer two key cards when two guests are checking in, instead of waiting for guests to request it. Also, in urgent health-related situations, I hope the staff can show more flexibility and understanding. Despite this experience, the room itself was clean and the staff were polite. With better handling of situations like this, the guest experience would be much better."

"I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Sogo overall, and I would like to share my experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The room was tidy, the bed was comfortable, and the facilities worked properly throughout my stay. I also appreciated the staff, who were polite, accommodating, and always ready to assist whenever I had questions or needed help. Their professionalism made me feel welcome and added to the positive experience. One thing I found a little difficult was locating the elevator. Since it is somewhat hidden, it took me a while to find it, especially as a first-time guest. It would be very helpful if the hotel could install more visible directional signs or provide clearer guidance upon check-in so guests can easily locate the elevator without confusion. Aside from that minor concern, everything else was excellent. The hotel provided a comfortable and relaxing environment, and I was satisfied with the quality of service I received. The cleanliness, affordability, and convenience made my stay enjoyable. Overall, I would rate my experience 8 out of 10. "Delivers in all the ways it promised. This is my third time staying here and it's quickly becoming my go to stay when I'm in Davao. Location? Chef's kiss. It's located right in the heart of the city. It's only a couple hundred meters from Abreeza and one jeepney ride away from the other malls (GMall, SM Lanang and SM Ecoland). Check-in is convenient and quick. The unit itself has been very clean in the three times I've been there. Guests check out regularly so the room usually gets cleaned daily. Privacy hasn't been an issue with the privacy curtains. I really appreciate the study space as well, particularly the chair. It's a very comfortable chair. Airconditioner is working perfectly. There's a balcony if you need to hang clothes out in the sun. Favorite place in the room is the bathroom. Clean bathroom with a bidet, plus heated shower and faucet. Of course, there are trade offs in the sense that you don't have absolute privacy and you have to tread lightly for other guests which is expected for the price. Absolutely best value for money in all the places I've stayed at in the city."
