Hotel berhampiran Pantai Rainha, Cascais

This is a historical hotel where the author of James Bond books once lived and where one of the movies was filmed. The rooms are good quality. The spa has a swimming pool, jacuzzi, massage showers, hammam, sauna. However, they refused to give me more than 1 towel per visit. The breakfast is good quality. You can order a custom-made omelette with various ingredients. The fruit choice included mango and papaya even in winter. The only unpleasant moment was that they tried to downgrade the room category for us (give a lower category room than originally booked, even though it was in low season). I have never experienced that before in my entire life. Fortunately, thanks to an efficient intervention of the trip.com customer support, we managed to get the exact room type that we originally booked, but there was a little bit of a stress, so I advise everyone to double-check directly with the hotel what room category you will be put in BEFORE you arrive.

Hotel is situated at a comfortable location, pretty much giving you access to easy ride and train all within the catchment zone, which is quite convenient. It also boasts of a fantastic sea view, if you book rooms facing the sea side, and is also very quiet. This is my second stay there and I’d recommend it. Breakfast variety is just so so, and I’ve come to experience that adding breakfast is just waste of money. You’re better off either doing walk-in pay for breakfast and it bundling it with the room.

Top notch Hotel with extraordinary views!!!! I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone I know! In particular the breakfast was beyond phenomal! The staff was incredible and so friendly and customer oriented! BIG thank you to folks in Front Desk and Tiago I believe who manages the morning breakfast spread... I got sick and he recommended a pharmacy close by and I was able to get some very needed medication for my congestion. What an amazing group of folks. We stayed in several hotels throughout our trip and BY FAR, this was the BEST HOTEL!!! I would stay there again in a heartbeat! HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND! AND THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH Tiago for your kindness and for the lemon tea which helped me alot. Blessings to you all!

The plus of the hotel was the pool on hot days and the breakfast included. Unfortunately the location was not ideal, restaurants and nightlife were a long distance away, Most staff, I felt like I was inconveniencing them when I would ask for something, one of the night staff ladies was very very lovely, always willing to help. The man at the desk in the morning was not so helpful. Not an ideal location, very long walk to any type of shopping restaurant and nightlife. I would recommend staying closer to Cascais

Завтрак хороший-большой выбор шведский стол. Но сервис отеля не очень порадовал. Одна бутылка воды для 3 взрослых, тапочек и зубного набора нет. На ресепшн не дозвониться и информирование о отеле ленивое: пока не спросишь ничего сами не расскажут.

Standard three star hotel. Fantastic location and easy to get to all the main sightseeing stuff. Some aesthetic issues in the room. Cigarette burn in the cloth headboard, bathroom sink bowl wasn’t bolted down, and the top rain shower head didn’t work and the shower area had mold. Pretty standard European two single beds pushed together, no bigger than a dorm room mat and about as soft as a box spring. The air conditioner controller is just for show, the main staff has control over it. But other than a hard bed that would split down the middle having you fall through and in between the mattresses, a hot room, and a bathroom sink almost torn from the fixtures and nearly dropped on the ol toes the staff is amazing and the just having the sheer proximity to the lively restaurants and beaches overshadowed any of the negatives

Room was moldy, hotel stinks really bad, breakfast very poor choices, the only good thing about this hotel is the view. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anybody.

Great location but the restaurant/bar was extremely noisy and it lasted until 2:00 am. We couldn’t sleep at all during the stay unfortunately. Our room’s window facing to the street was kind of broken. Overall, we won’t comeback this hotel in the future.

Quando eu vi que o hotel se encontra em uma ONG, fiquei assustada, mas quando cheguei ao local me encantei com o carinho, cuidado e zelo pelo ambiente e por tudo que é feito lá. As suítes são separadas de forma privada e muito bem organizada. Os quartos são suficientes para uma estadia curta: limpos e confortáveis. O hotel fica de frente para a praia e fiz uma caminhada muito agradável na redondeza. Se procura um local acessível para uma estadia curta, vá sem medo.

I had a nice stay in the hostel, it just feels like home and everyone was friendly and accomodating. What I really like was the location because it was just close to the beautiful Carcavelos Beach, shops and metro station are also nearby so it was very convinient. Another thing that I like about my stay was the amenities they offer like the kitchen where you can cook your food anytime, they also have a swimming pool, a spacious living area where you can watch tv or just chill with your phone or laptop. I would difinitely recommend this hostel and would probably stay here again on my next visit to Portugal.
