Проживали в вилле. Чекин произошел значительно раньше на 4ч, за что огромное спасибо персоналу отеля! При этом нас предупредили что две кровати односпальные, попросили одну двухспальную, в течение 20 минут пока осматривали территорию отеля нам сделали двухспальную. В отеле два бассейна, один с видом на море, другой с видом на виллы. Оба бассейна чистые.
Удобства в вилле: в номере имеется две бутылки воды, кофе машина(капсульная и две капсулы кофе), сейф, зонтики, полотенца, холодильник, чайник, расчестка, мыло, шампунь, гель для душа, шапочка для душа. И что самое поразительное это душ и отдельное помещение с ванной.
Сама территория отеля находится в самом краю пляжа ao noi na. Территория тихая, закрытая, пляж тихий спокойный без толп туристов практический частный пляж. При этом в море есть морские ежи, на наших глазах несколько туристов наступили на морских ежей, персонал отеля помог им обработать раны. На ресепшене есть предупреждение о морских ежах.
На территории есть ресторан. Еда вкусная но из минусов, еду готовят очень долго, в течение часа ожидали два блюда. В ресторане так же проходят завтраки. завтраки плотные вкусные, на любой вкус.
Общее впечатление от отеля превосходное, надеюсь в следующую поездку на остров самет остановимся там вновь! Спасибо большое персоналу. Всем однозначно рекомендую к проживанию.

We recently stayed at Samet Cabana Resort on Ao Wong Duean, and it was exactly the tropical escape we were looking for. We booked the Beach Cabana, and we cannot recommend it enough.
The Room:
Staying in the Beach Cabana meant waking up to the sound of the waves every morning. Stepping out onto the porch with a view of the ocean was the highlight of the trip. The room was clean, comfortable, and had that authentic island bungalow feel while still having modern amenities (the AC worked great!). Being just a few steps from the water made all the difference.
The Location:
Ao Wong Duean is a fantastic beach, it’s lively enough to have good restaurants and fire shows at night, but much more relaxed than the busy main pier area. The water was clear and great for swimming right in front of the resort.
Service & Food:
The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, from check-in to check-out. The breakfast buffet had a good mix of options to start the day.
If you are coming to Koh Samet, do yourself a favour and splurge a little for the Beach Cabana. It transforms the trip from a standard hotel stay into a real beach holiday. We’ll definitely be back!

The Highlights:
1. Prime Location: You couldn’t ask for a better spot. It’s a short walk to the beach, and there are 7-Elevens everywhere for snacks and supplies. Plus, catching a songthaew to explore the rest of the island is incredibly easy from here.
2. Room: The room smelled wonderful when I walked in. The room is quite spacious, as is the bathroom. There is a balcony where it’s a huge plus! It’s perfect for hanging up wet clothes and swimwear after a day at the beach.
3. Peace & Quiet: Despite being right in the center of the island’s busiest beach area, it was surprisingly quiet and peaceful at night.
4. The Wi-Fi was strong and consistent throughout the stay—great if you need to stay connected.
5. Very fast Check-in/out
The Lowlights:
1. Lack of Housekeeping: This was the biggest letdown. During the stay, they don't clean the rooms, change the towels, or refill the shampoo and body wash dispensers. You basically have to manage your own upkeep. Be sure to pack your own toiletries! There are no free toothbrushes or toothpaste provided.
2. Customer Service: The receptionist was unfortunately not very accommodating or friendly during that time when we arrived. It definitely didn't make me feel particularly welcome.

The Samed Resorts group offers the guests a free boat shuttle service to Samed Island (even free car parking), which I find very convenient. The staff helped us loading the baggage to the boat and from the boat to the hotel. Ban Ploy sea is located right next to the pier with a few minutes walk. The check-in went smoothly. The staff was so helpful and friendly. He even offered me an upgrade room with the sea front view for 2 nights. The room was clean and comfy. At the back of the resort is a log house cafe, offering tasty cakes and fancy drinks. I feel really relaxed lying on a private beach. In the evening we were so lazy to go out, just had dinner at the hotel‘s restaurant every night. It was not cheap but everything was delicious. Overall, we are very satisfied. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend Stellars Resort!
Great service & nice clean room. The staff was super helpful and the room was two thumbs. Not located on the beach but it's just a short walk (about 4 minutes). The village is also a short walk (on the way to the beach; same direction/same road), so there are many restaurants / shops / places for massage etc... Also, can rent a motorbike from the resort easily if you want to drive the island & see other beaches. Good breakfast & good swimming pools.
Would definitely recommend!

ทริปนี้เราเริ่มจากกรุงเทพฯ นั่ง BTS ไปเอกมัย ต่อรถบัสเชิดชัยไปบ้านเพ แล้วนั่งเรือข้ามไปเกาะเสม็ดแบบชิลๆ ไม่ต้องขับรถเอง ไม่ต้องเหนื่อยกับการเดินทางไกล แต่สุดท้ายได้ครบทั้งพักผ่อน ดำน้ำ กินซีฟู้ด และเดินเล่นริมทะเลแบบเต็มอิ่ม
ที่พักรอบนี้เราจอง ทับทิมรีสอร์ท ผ่าน Trip.com ได้ราคาประมาณคืนละ 1,800 กว่าบาท รวม 2 คืน 2 คนก็ประมาณ 4,000 กว่าบาท และรวมอาหารเช้าแล้ว ถือว่าดีมากสำหรับทริปทะเลสั้นๆ ที่อยากเน้นพักสบาย
ส่วนรถบัสเราเลือกจองล่วงหน้าของเชิดชัยทัวร์ ไป-กลับ 2 คนรวมแล้วประมาณ 1,000 กว่าบาท ขาไปขึ้นจากเอกมัยประมาณ 9 โมง ไปถึงบ้านเพราว 12.30 น. ระหว่างทางมีแมคโดนัลด์แจกบนรถด้วยทั้งขาไปและขากลับ รายละเอียดเล็กๆ แต่ทำให้รู้สึกว่าทริปนี้เริ่มต้นง่ายและสบายมาก
พอถึงบ้านเพ เราไปต่อเรือนวลทิพย์ข้ามไปเกาะเสม็ด คนละ 60 บาท ใช้เวลาประมาณ 45 นาที ลงที่ท่าเรือหน้าด่าน แล้วนั่งรถสองแถวต่อไปที่พักอีกคนละ 30 บาท
คืนแรกบนเกาะคือดีมากกก เราไปกินบุฟเฟ่ต์ทะเลย่างเนยริมทะเลแถวหาดทรายแก้ว แล้วเดินต่อไปดูโชว์ควงไฟแถว Silver Sand บอกเลยว่าเป็นบรรยากาศที่ทำให้รู้สึกว่า “เออ นี่แหละ วันพักผ่อนจริงๆ”
วันที่ 2 คือไฮไลต์ของทริป เราจองทริปดำน้ำ 6 เกาะกับแชร์บ๊วยทัวร์ ราคา 700 บาทต่อคน รวมรถรับส่งจากที่พักเรียบร้อย ทริปเริ่มเที่ยงถึงห้าโมงเย็น ได้ออกเรือ เล่นน้ำ ดำน้ำ ถ่ายรูป ครบมาก เป็นวันที่สนุกและคุ้มสุดๆ
กลับเข้าฝั่งช่วงเย็นก็ยังไม่หมดวันนะ เรายังไปกินข้าวต่อที่ร้านพลอยทะเล แล้วแวะซื้อน้ำปั่นร้านลุงจิน ก่อนเดินเล่นถ่ายรูปตามโซนหน้าหาดต่ออีกหน่อย บรรยากาศบนเกาะตอนเย็นคือดีแบบไม่ต้องพยายามเลย แค่เดินก็เพลินแล้ว
เช้าวันกลับ เราแวะนั่งกาแฟที่ Cafe Amazon ตรงท่าเรือหน้าด่าน มองวิวทะเลทิ้งท้ายก่อนขึ้นเรือรอบ 11 โมงกลับบ้านเพ แล้วต่อรถบัสเชิดชัยรอบบ่าย 2 กลับเอกมัย ถึงกรุงเทพฯ ประมาณ 17.30 น. ถึง 18.00 น. แล้วแต่สภาพจราจร
สรุปเลยนะ ทริปนี้เป็นอีกหนึ่งทริปทะเลที่เหมาะมากสำหรับคนที่อยากไปพักแต่ไม่อยากขับรถเอง ขอแค่จองทุกอย่างล่วงหน้าไว้หน่อย ทั้งรถ ที่พัก เรือ และทริปดำน้ำ เท่านี้ก็เที่ยวเกาะเสม็ดแบบสบายๆ ได้แล้ว
ใครกำลังหาทริปทะเล 3 วัน 2 คืน ใกล้กรุงเทพฯ ที่มีครบทั้งพัก กิน เที่ยว ดำน้ำ และบรรยากาศดีๆ เกาะเสม็ดยังเป็นคำตอบที่ดีมากจริงๆ 💙🏝️

If you are picky, need private beach and a big swimming pool - this hotel is not for you. It is a nice small hotel, with small pool, great breakfast. There are rooms that can fit 4 people. It’s a 20 second walk to the beach, you can rent a beach chair or lay on the towel. This hotel only servers breakfasts, there is no lunch or dinner, but you can always get good food at Samed Villa Restaurant. It’s a pleaser stay for several days, lots of greenery on this hotel property, it’s small but cozy.

The location are amazing and also the hotel have a lot of green area, room was so comfy even I choose the standard room however every morning some staff shouted so loudly it’s wake me up due to there is no sound proof of the hotel!
If they inform staff to not shout in the morning that’s would be nice! Ah one more thing, hotel breakfast was good and yummy!

the location is not the closest to the beach. However their staff are very friendly and they provide a breakfast buffets daily, and the quality is pretty acceptable. However, coffee and tea are a bit awful overall.. I would still recover who wanted to be enjoy the quiet moment during your holidays..

Upon arrival we were told that check in was ,2pm and the room was not ready, fair but was not contacted when the room was ready so booked in at 2pm. Decided to eat at the resort restaurant - not a good decision, ordered a pizza and can honestly say it was the worst pizza I have ever had, my partner , who is Thai, ordered Thai food and it was not great. We also ordered a seafood salad , that did not arrive after about 40 mins - told the staff and they informed us they had forgot, waited another 20 mins and still not arrived so we cancelled. No response from the staff. The table next to us complained that their food had not arrived and they were there before we arrived! Breakfast the next day was also not good. We asked at the reception to hire a motorcycle only to be told , don't have and told to find elsewhere - not a very friendly or helpful person on reception. Decided to go kayaking and then informed we had to pay! In short not what you would expect from this type of resort. Have to say that most the other staff were helpful and friendly. A side note - not enough sun loungers etc.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent.
Our only small quibble was the lack of sunloungers, though we appreciate the high occupancy whilst we were there.
Nice room, some small plumbing issues though. I guess island amenities!
Overall an excellent stay.

CChris 王墨迪Overall the hotel has certainly fallen over the past 3 years and it’s pretty sad to see this happen, if you’re a single traveler or a couple I would recommend but I couldn’t recommend the hotel to families in its current state.
Management: Great management they listen to complaints, they are responsible and try to solve all issues. Sadly the management don’t have so much to work with these days.
General staff: A large percentage of the staff are Cambodian and living in limbo with the current issues between both countries. With the exception of one or two Cambodian staff most are either depressed and miserable or damn right rude, unhelpful and disrespectful. (The floor manager explained this himself)
Rooms: Nice and simple rooms the do the job but aging fast. The rooms look good but are not high quality materials and it shows the labor and material quality is low and cheap. Showers have virtually no pressure when the hotel is busy and the water won’t reach higher than luke-warm.
Location: I have to say it’s one of the best locations on the island when considering location and facilities and I guess this is their main selling point. They have shops, bars, restaurants, coffee shop and more.
Patrons: Most of the year the majority of visitors are going to be Tha and Asian, they are respectful, they have manners and they will be great to holiday alongside. During Christmas to New Year there were too many rude Europeans especially Swedish tourists, these tourists camped and took over large areas of the bar and restaurants, they moved around furniture, they were rude and disrespectful to other tourists leaving trash noise and mess wherever they visited. (Staff and management ignored)
Note: This used to be a great hotel and I have continuously visited over the past several years. Unfortunately I have begun to see a degradation of the hotel, the attitude towards western tourists (due to poor behavior of westerners) as well as issues related to the diplomatic issues between Cambodia and Thailand. I due hope this improves in the future.
With new staff or new immigration laws as well as new investment into the hotel it could easily thrive once more.

Location & Beach Access
The resort's prime beachfront location is undoubtedly its strongest asset. Situated directly by a beautiful stretch of shallow, crystal-blue waters, it offers safe and perfect conditions for family sea bathing. The convenience factor is excellent – you're just a two-minute walk from the famous Sai Kaew Beach, the iconic Mermaid Monument, and the bustling Silversand Resort area.
Accommodation & Ambience
While the resort building itself shows its age, the refurbished rooms create a lovely ambience with beautiful lighting that transforms the older structure into something quite charming. We stayed on the third floor, which offered peaceful mountain views overlooking the national park forest rather than beach views. The setting is genuinely calm and quiet – exactly what we wanted for a family retreat.
Important consideration: There's no elevator, so reaching upper floors requires quite a climb. As we joked, shuttling between the room and outside areas four times daily provides a workout in itself! This makes the resort unsuitable for elderly guests or anyone with mobility issues.
Dining Experience
The breakfast experience is delightful, served in a beachside restaurant where you can enjoy your meal with sand between your toes. The selection impresses with a good range of both Western and Thai options, including fresh fruits.
The resort's beach restaurant serves quality food with excellent value for money – we tried multiple dishes and enjoyed them all. However, there's no room service, and the restaurant closes early (around 9:30-10 PM). When late-night cravings struck, we found the nearby 7-Eleven (just 5-6 minutes' walk) convenient for snacks.
Room Amenities & Issues
Room amenities are adequate though not luxurious. The shower area is well-designed with a spacious dressing area. However, we encountered an unpleasant odor from the bathroom drainage system that required some management during our stay.
Activities & Surroundings
For water activities like parasailing, snorkeling, and jet skiing, you'll need to walk to Sai Kaew Beach to find service providers – fortunately, we found excellent options there.
Final Verdict
Avatara Resort succeeds as a family-friendly destination that balances beachfront access, peaceful ambience, and reasonable pricing. While it has some limitations (no elevator, early restaurant closure, minor maintenance issues), the overall experience was enjoyable and memorable.
Recommended for: Families seeking a calm beach getaway who don't mind some stairs and prefer a quieter resort atmosphere.
Consider alternatives if: You need elevator access, late-night dining options, or luxury amenities.

PPengguna TetamuThe location is really far off. In the last corner of the island. If you don’t have a motorcycle you don’t get around well.
There is a shuttle bus which costs around 120 to get to the main area one way for two, but it isn’t that reliable. It is supposed to leave once per hour at 30min after the full hour but sometimes it leaves 5min early and you are stranded for the hour, sometimes you wait until 45min after the hour.
The friendlieness of the staff was from super genuinely friendly and helpful to „ I don’t give the slightest **** for you“ really depends on the person. Breakfast was good, especially the thai soups.
Eating dinner there is very expensive and not that good. The restaurant location outside is spectacular. With view over the sea in many directions.
The huts where you stay are simply too small. I. Essence only a bed that you can walk around. No desk or something. No shelves or something where you could store or hang clothes. You have to live out of the luggage your suitcase. The issue is : there is only space to have one opened at the time, no space for two. That makes it rather inconvenient. The water in the romm is in glass bottles , but it is actually tab water smells like chlorine. I gor stomach pain drinking only one. We were told if we need drinking water , we must use the overpriced water from the minibar.
The beach wasn’t that great. You don’t walk on sand and there was lots of rubble in the water, not pleasant to swim. I would not go there again

GGoing Back To My Roots### Review of Samed Grandview Resort
We recently stayed at Samed Grandview Resort and had a wonderful experience overall. The resort's location is stunning, with beautiful views and a relaxing atmosphere that made our stay enjoyable. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring all our needs were met.
However, we felt that the beach entertainment could use some improvement. While the idea of music on the beach is great, the selection and execution were somewhat lacking, making it a bit boring at times. As professionals in the entertainment industry, we believe there are ways to enhance the experience for guests, such as incorporating a more diverse music selection or live performances.
We truly enjoyed our time here and would love to see the entertainment aspect elevated for an even better guest experience. Thank you for considering our feedback! 🙏🏻

We are very familiar with island life in Thailand and appreciate that some things just don’t work as well.
The location of Malibu Samed Resort is gorgeous, it’s more or less situated on the beach of the small quaint Wong Duean Bay.
There are several beach restaurants available, the vibe is chilled, without the drinking or ******** culture. It’s lovely.
Our welcome was warm, the staff were great and happy to help with our luggage.
Our room is small 16 m² with 2 single beds, some hanging and storage space.
It has a rustic feel to it. There is a fridge which is always welcome, tea and coffee making facilities, which we always appreciate, as well as a safety deposit box & flat screen TV.
The bed and pillow are comfortable but not sumptuous.
Towels are provided and I would say are of typical island quality.
However the shower was an issue, obviously water is limited on the island and taking a hot shower was challenging but actually having a good supply of water either in the evening or morning was very hit and miss. Missed more often, it gets frustrating when you can’t have an adequate shower, that’s one of the reasons we move about frequently.
Breakfast is of limited quality but there are a variety of options including cereal, hot food both western & Thai.
Toast cereal and tea & coffee.
The pool area was hardly used during our stay so a nice quiet retreat from the beach was available.

PPengguna TetamuI have stayed at Flamingo Villa before (In the Garden Room), but this time I decided to stay in the loft room, which apparently is called the Family Room. Flamingo Villa is somewhat strange, since the ”Hotel” is basically three rooms within the Samed Your House hotel. Our neighbors actually knocked on our door to try and check in ~ You need to call the phone number for Flamingo Villa in order to check in, as someone will come out to meet you. So, bottom line up front: Flamingo Villa is awesome, but get ready to kill a lot of mosquitos! The owners do a good job of lighting incense sticks to try and keep the them away, but there are fountains around the area and the mosquitos are no joke. I would say I killed at least 10 in our room, so it is super important to make sure you close the sliding doors behind you every time you go in and out of the room.
The Family Room was awesome. The lower floor is basically a living room with a large day bed and a big TV with great speakers. The toilet room is separate from the shower. The stairs to the loft are pretty steep, but once you get up there it is really nice. There are two queen beds in the loft, and the glass wall and sliding door separate the bedroom from the main room, which is great because the bedroom has its own AC unit, and the glass keeps out the mosquitoes. The beds were comfortable, but be careful because the ceiling is very low above the beds. The view from up in the loft is very peaceful, and the owners obviously spent a lot of time decorating the place (The Christmas tree was still up while we were there).
The hotel is a 5 minute walk from Sai Kaew Beach, and the pier for the ferry is only a 10 minute walk ~ but you can take a mini bus if you would like. The hotel is close to restaurants and stores, and there are two 7-11s close to the beach. We rented a motor bike the last time we were in Koh Samed, but Sai Kaew Beach seems to be the nicest on the island, so we just hung out there.
I love Flamingo Villa, and I am sure I will stay there again in the future.

PPengguna TetamuSaikaew Villa 65 is less than a 5 minute walk from the songthiaw drop off to get to the accommodation, after the 10 minute taxi ride from Ban Phe pier. We booked 3 Superior Twin rooms for family but the rooms were definitely not 'superior'. The rooms lacked any finesse, with a broken lampshade, gaps under the doors for mozzies to get in, a broken light in the bathroom and a leaking sink pipe, dodgy fridge connection and dead batteries in the aircon remote. The room itself was clean and the service for room cleaning was good, but the surrounding area around the rooms was dilapidated, with broken down storage buildings, remnants of building works and rubbish bags and cleaning equipment on display in the walkways each day. There was a definite lack of attention to detail. It was backpacker style but not with a backpacker price tag. I booked the rooms on a balcony, with a view of the courtyard garden, but there was nowhere to sit outside the room, no chairs provided, just small tables. The location is very good, a minute or so walk away from the beach. The attached restaurant, 'Joe's', was very efficiently run and the service there was excellent (thank you to the waiting staff, who were very friendly and helpful). For 60 baht for the day, a deckchair could be rented with an umbrella right on the sea front, and the restaurant staff provided towels for the deckchairs when asked. If you plan on spending little time in your rooms, and you don't mind the outside appearance of the accommodation, then Sai Kaew 65 is a great place to base yourself for all that Sai Kaew and Koh Samed has to offer.
