Hotel berhampiran Restoran Rak Lay, Ko Lipe

From the moment we arrived via boat to the most beautiful setting, we were breath taken! The private beach is great for snorkeling and safe for kids. Our room (no. 6) was a good size, nice balcony, some sea views and comfortable. Staff were warm, welcoming and helpful, especially the receptionist who was always smiling and super friendly. Of our 8-day stay in Koh Lipe, we spent 3 nights here. By comparison, the hotel we moved to next was marginally cheaper, also with a high (but not as high) rating. Ten Moons was the better deal!!! Pros: - Stunning location - Large glass water jug in the room (which was refilled daily using a 5 gallon water bottle rather than multiple small plastic bottles). Great to see the hotel reducing the use of plastic! - Great breakfast selection - Food available all day - Clean - Staff helpful and friendly - Life jackets, beach toys, snorkels, etc available for use for free - Quiet location/very peaceful and relaxing - Lovely sand (sand texture tends to vary in Koh Lipe however it was great here!) - Walking distance or ferry ride to walking street and more livelier areas Cons: - One of the few hotels not showing a sign or communicating/educating tourists NOT to step on coral. The by-product is that there isn’t a lot of live coral to see although there is still a lot of fish life. By comparison, we saw a hotel further down actively promoting not to stand on coral with staff educating tourists - No pool (although not needed as the sea area is more than ample to swim in) - No kayaks (available for hire at THB200 per hour nearby, less than a minute walk away) - Not for people who struggle with stairs (although there are a couple of villas on the beach without the use of stairs) We would most certainly stay here again!

Very nice charming small resort with few bungalows. It was my 2nd time at Koh Lipe. Tried different hotels. I’ve booked a garden villa at Bulow Casa. One of the best location on the island, very peaceful, just next to the Zodiac bar which is the spot for sunset. The villas are very comfortable and spacious. I liked the decoration. Free Tuk Tuk until 6 pm and the staff is very kind. However, the service of the restaurant is not at the level we expect for this price. Compared to some other hotels, the reactivity is quite slow… Needed to wait long time for our orders and that, several times. And it wasn’t the peak season yet… wondering how they will manage with a full capacity of the hotel. So I think it needs some little improvements… I’ve not been impressed by the food as well. Good breakfast though. we finished to take our dinner in some other restaurants located more south of the sunrise beach.

Castaway is by far the best resort on Koh Lipe. It's quiet and tucked away from the busy walking street. It is perfect for anyone who is looking for a relaxing place to unwind and read a book and just check-out from busy life. A shout out to the Joy and Saul at the dive shop. Most resorts advertise having a dive shop but in reality what they have is an arrangement with a local dive center who pick you up and drop you off. Castaway's dive shop is in the resort and very friendly and professional. If you are a diver go talk to Joy, she's an amazing teacher.

I recently stayed in a pool villa room and had an excellent experience. The villa was spacious, well-maintained, and provided a great sense of privacy. The private pool added a luxurious touch and made the stay even more relaxing. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist, which made the overall experience even better. The hotel facilities were well-kept, and the environment was  comfortable throughout. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

Saya agak bimbang apabila saya membaca ulasan pada mulanya. Memang banyak ulasan buruk Saya masih sangat menyukai Mali selepas saya tinggal di sana jalan pejalan kaki saya mempunyai pantai sendiri, dan saya benar-benar boleh berada di pantai saya sendiri, anda membuka pintu ke kolam renang Huihui kecil berkaki tiga dan seekor kucing yang kelihatan sederhana tetapi sangat comel Pada suatu hari hujan turun, dan kami sedang makan Kami duduk di bar sepanjang pagi. Anda boleh menikmatinya pemandangan laut dan hujan semasa sarapan Pelayan sangat comel dan baik, terutamanya wanita di meja depan yang tersenyum dan menyapa kami setiap kali Kami tinggal di sini selama tiga malam the Cliff Hotel untuk makan malam dan digigit nyamuk Walaupun pemandangan Cliff Hotel ini cantik, tidak banyak nyamuk di Mali dan anda tidak perlu menaiki tangga yang begitu banyak baik.

Kami berseronok di anda, hanya di sebelah pantai kami menikmati sarapan pagi juga tidak banyak pilihan tetapi ia cukup baik untuk kami

Perkhidmatan: Sangat bagus, terdapat jemputan dari pulau, dan saya akan secara aktif meminta anda mengatur penghantaran anda pada perjalanan seterusnya, dan akan ada minuman selamat datang apabila anda mendaftar masuk. Persekitaran: Pantainya bersih, warna Lipe Sea tidak memerlukan penapis, sangat tenang di sini, sangat sesuai untuk berehat dan bercuti. Sarapan pagi: Pelbagainya agak kaya, bahagiannya sangat besar, dan rasanya sedap.

Pemandangannya hebat. Saya juga menggemari makanan di sana terutamanya sarapan pagi HALAL mereka. Pantainya juga cantik dan bersih. Tetapi resort ini agak sukar kerana anda perlu memanjat lebih banyak anak tangga untuk masuk ke dalam bilik anda.

The hostel is in a convenient position, right in the walking street. The ground floor is sort of a post office, which makes it kind of chaotic and crowded and sometimes the shoes (that you need to leave outside of the building) are covered by the amount of packages being delivered. One pair of my shoes got taken by someone else (stolen?).  I felt there is really no control of whoever comes up, as the post office is so chaotic that no one checks who comes and goes to the hostel on the upper floors. The common area is not that big and the WiFi is not stable at all. Nevertheless these are things  The showers need some maintainance, some have hangers for clothes, some don’t, some have broken ones. Same for the toilets. The cleaning of the showers and toilet areas was quite under control. I just wish that people with long hair would clean after themselves, because patches of bestie ere to be found on the sink and the showers all the time. The room was relatively small, with 3 bunk beds and 6 small lockers. I recommend earplugs because you never know if the people in your room will snore, and also because the people in the hallway and common area are loud and no one respects the 10pm silence hours.  Good deal for money if you want to explore Ko Lipe on a budget.

Kami menempah bilik keluarga untuk 4 orang selama 3 malam. Semasa menempah, kami tidak perasan papan tanda yang menunjukkan tiada tingkap di dalam bilik. Sebenarnya, ada satu, tetapi ia menghadap ke tingkat dua. Ini agak mengelirukan semasa daftar masuk, tetapi kami memutuskan untuk tidak menukar bilik. Kelebihan: bilik ini mempunyai dua penghawa dingin, dan kawasan ”kanak-kanak” dipisahkan oleh partition dan langsir tebal. Katilnya selesa. Tekanan airnya baik, dan pancuran mandiannya panas. Tiada bau pelik di dalam bilik. Bufet sarapan pagi tidak banyak, tetapi ia cukup untuk membuatkan anda kenyang: dua hidangan Thai (ditukar setiap dua hari), telur, hirisan sayur-sayuran, roti bakar, dan tembikai. Penkek disediakan sekali sahaja. Tikar pantai dan tuala disediakan. Terdapat kolam renang, tetapi ia kebanyakannya digunakan oleh kanak-kanak. Berhampiran hotel terdapat paya teratai - menarik untuk memerhati hidupan liar tempatan - pelbagai burung berkaki panjang dan biawak. Varian sebesar buaya yang baik muncul pada awal pagi, sebelum jam 6:30. Walau bagaimanapun, kemunculan paya itu agak mengejutkan kerana sampah—hari pembersihan tidak biasa di sini. Kami dijemput dari jeti dengan beca bermotor, dan semasa berlepas, mereka menawarkan untuk membawa kami ke mana sahaja yang kami perlukan. Keburukan: Pencahayaan yang tidak mencukupi dalam jenis bilik kami—rasanya seperti kami berada di dalam bunker. Sentiasa ada air di atas lantai dan pengering di dalam bilik, tetapi itu mungkin khusus untuk bilik kami. Tiada cerek atau kemudahan membuat teh di dalam bilik.
